Supia (MiniSup) Mini Discussion Part 1

If you don't mind me making a suggestion, just pull the head up enough to be able to stick a chopstick or something through the elastic loops, then take off the s-hook from them. Might take a bit of strength, I know my Minisup was strung pretty tight. It's really the only complain I have with Supia's engineering, that the heads are a bit of a pain to remove.

 

Oh I see, so I can just leave the bar in and remove the s-hook? Haha, that makes sense...I don't know why I didn't think of that...well, thank you!

I took her visiting a friend today and she was definately a hit. I love her in this little mini from Marsh. The shoe sweater was made by the very talented Pamela in NZ.

Congratulations, Endorwitch! I know you'll love your mini-Sup as much as I do. She's really the same all round as Narae, except her bottom is a tiny bit larger, but not much unless she's trying to squeeze into Mio pants.

She wears the same size eyes (11-12), shoes etc. and fits into the Unoa shoes & outfits, too. (This one is from kcness Stylissimo)

Everytime I look at the Tan Yisols in this thread (and I can tell you I look through the thread once a week minimum) I get so excited!

So the Tonner stuff fits Minisups pretty well? I have seen people mentioning Tonner clothes on this thread before and my mum found a clothes pattern the other day for the 16inch Tonner dolls.
She actually bought it because she wanted a doll clothes pattern she could enlarge for my 60cm doll, but it will be cool if she can use it as is for my new girl.

 

Pretty much a good fit (except for pants & shoes, naturally) Tyler is a tiny bit busty-er, but Yisol's chest is approx. the same size. The Fashion Blvd. skirt is a great fit--slid right on; though the top needs some extra snaps, it fits her very well. Most Tonner dresses will fit her if they're not really tight in the hips & thighs (Yisol's are larger) and anything stretchy like sweaters work great. You will have to watch for those extra tight sleeves on some things, though. Luckily, my friend & I were Tonner collectors first, so we have a large selection to choose from.

She's lots slimmer than regular MSD's and is comprable to Narae and Unoa. here's a picture of Yisol Angelique with my new Narae, Josette. They are of a height, although Angelique looks taller because of her heels.

 

My new Narae is an older pinky-white (Thanks, Joyce W!) I like the color contrast between them quite a lot. The light was pretty bad this morning, so it's kind of grainy, but you can really see the skin tone difference between the urethane & French resin.
I sure wish Supia would make a pretty boy to go with them. They need a Barnabus Collins to fight over. lol

 

They look so good together. Both are such beautiful girls.

Quentin Collins (David Selby), who is, as it turns out great friends with my Ex. lol. David is a lovely man and starring in a new show on HBO.
Limwha's little boy could be a very pretty werewolf--have to make him a mask to wear over that gorgeous face, though. (no modding for me!) I'm thinking of a Dragonfly Narin for Barnbabus.

and this black one, too. The only color I've disliked her in is red tones or bright yellows, as it rather tends to clash. As long as it's in the blonde-rose, it looks good to me. She really looks good in stark white, too.

 

Catrina!!! Yisol just arrived and I think I'm in love!!! She is SO BEAUTIFUL!!!!! Thank you thank you and please thank the wonderful people at Supia for making sure that our tan girls were perfect (and for the little outfit..it's darling) Excuse the eye placement....they need a bit of adjusting!!!

 

Hi bessiemurphysophia ...I haven't named her yet. I'm waiting for her to tell me what she would like her name to be. The wig...I believe it's a Kana Dark Chocolate from Grace at JPOP Wigs. Oh my word another lovely Yisol, love her name seems so fitting. The girls look like they are ready for an adventure together, what fun. Hope to see lots of pics. Hey guys....before the forum went down I was avoiding this thread because I was DEPRESSED!!!!!!!!!!!! It turns out I somehow ordered the WRONG DOLL! ARGH!!!!!!!!!!

So I have Yan instead of a Yisol.... *headdesk*

Anyways so the plan is tp probably sell my Yan (who is really cute but not the girl I wanted!!) and get a Yisol. I am hoping I have enough money in my account and it will transfer to Paypal before the current ordering period ends so I can buy the Yisol now rather than wait even longer....oh the trauma of the night I opened my box people - it was AWFUL!

Anyways I do have to say i love the tan resin. Its such a yummy colour!
Anyone have a burning desire for a tan Yan? I gotta take some pics to do aa marketplace thread...

 

Oh no Endorwitch...I'm sure you will be able to sell her. The girls are so pretty and you know how we all hate to wait. It will be perfect for someone looking for a Yan.

Yes (though I am not sure if it takes you straight to Paypal at the end of the ordering process or not because I had to send my payment in two parts so I just sent the money directly to them from paypal quoting my order number).

i like the glow of the french resin does urethane have any glow?
