@manabusama yah, I really love that picture, it shows such diversity in humans. It's true that we are not as diverse as dogs, but if we could be half as accepting as dogs are, the world would be beautiful

I got my Rosy in the new tan, and it is a really beautiful color, and not too light, as some of the first pictures made it seem. It'd be nice to have an even darker color, but it's definitely tan

LOL, And don't feel bad about hijacks of the heart, they're inevitable, LOL

What's the size of the neck? I see depending on the body is either 9 or 9.5 cm, right?

 

Oh gosh, @Demiurgo, even so then bodies have different sizes listed, all I know is that all the heads fit fine on all the bodies. I don't think the .5 cm makes enough of a difference and it may be measured lower for clothing fit rather than head neck hole size?

 

I know, but I was really looking forward to ordering Hamin next. The new JID girl body is only sold as a limited body for now. That's why I also feel it's more important to order JID Sierra first. Did I say JID Kassia before?! I meant Sierra! She's the one that hijacked my heart

She's adorable The Supia girls are so beautiful with the elf ears on. I think one of the reasons I love the Supia elves so much is becuse they reminds me of the comic "ElfQuest".

 

Hello all! I'm very close to making my purchase and getting Supia Haeun. But I have a couple little questions/concerns. 1. Does anyone know what she looks like with her 'smoky makeup' because they don't show it?? I like her normal makeup but i prefer a bit darker eyebrows and lips... 2. Opinions on small vs large bust (60cm double joint body) I tend to prefer a small bust but i feel their small bust looks REALLY SMALL. Im worried she won't be able to find tops that fit nice or she will look too childish. Does anyone have both a small and large and could show a comparison (i might post this in the photo reference section as well). Thank you~

@SurgeonHandsaw I have both sizes, but they're all packed away at the moment. It may take me a while to get pictures. IMO the small bust looks younger, but not adolescent. Sort of an A-B cup, if that helps.

 

@Alewife I actually found one comparison picture but only from the front i was kind of curious from the side how much difference there is. But don't worry about digging out dolls lol, im sure i can find pictures somewhere.Thank you for the info though!! I will keep it in mind when making my decision.

Also does anyone know what size wig Haeun wears, or do all the girls wear same size? im assuming smaller like 8-9 or 7-8?? Or does anyone have an exact measurement?

 

@SurgeonHandsaw Mine seem to like size 7-8 wigs. That's 3 heads. Dreaming Rosy, Eunice and Hamin. So I think that's a safe bet. Of course I only tried Monique wigs so far, which are stretchy??

 

@SurgeonHandsaw I have Haeun and she fits nicely into all of my 8-9 size wigs, with room for a wig cap if needed. I do not have any smaller wig sizes, so I unfortunately can't comment on it.

So I ordered my Haeun during the free shipping event *3* I decided on the large bust. Hopefully I don't regret that since originally I thought I would want small. Now I'm just shopping for her. I know she wears 14mm eyes but would small iris be better for her? Do any of you use small iris eyes? I bought eyes for my other doll and the iris looks too big and their eye shape is similar so I wonder if she'll have the same issue.

 

I actually in most cases use 12mm eyes. They look more realistic to me. Smaller irises might do the trick too.

 

I like small iris eyes best. It gives a more realistic effect and fits in the socket better . If you got the DJ body, (the smaller one) I don't find that chest to be too big at all, so I think you chose well

I chose the large bust option for my Lina ordered during the free shipping event. I normally opt for small busts but I liked the proportions of the large bust body in pictures. I'm hoping I made the right choice too.
I plan to test out 12mm eyes for gaps and decide from there.

I ordered Juah with the new 65cm body in NS but I kind of wish I got the light tan. I'll have to think about that in the future!

Thank you, @Celestila ! Large bust isn't so large. I like it best unless you're going for a child look. I say this to everyone, everywhere, LOL, but captured in glass makes lovely eyes, I like the realistic EN versions best, that they will make with a one size down iris. My dreaming Rosy above is wearing size 14 with size 12 Irises with low domes. I like the way they fill the eye socket (low dome requireed for a tight fit) and yet have the more realisticly sized irises

@Celestila I feel like Supia's large bust is more like a medium bust lol, hopefully we both are happy with our choice :3 Let me know how the 12mm go and whether they fit or not

@IngieBee Oh my goodness she is lovely, i love dreaming rosy so much. And that size eye looks perfect! So 12mm iris works good but some stores don't offer 14mm with 12mm iris or small iris....hmmm what to do

@KimC Oh you do? And are there gaps? or do they fit well? Small iris probably would work but some companies don't offer it

I just hate when the iris looks unaturally large XD I'm interested in Mako eyes and I've heard their eyes (the iris I think?) run small....idk if anyone knows about this. The struggle is real I swear lol

 

I can't help with eyes sizes since my supia is a hybrid (MRD Olathe on the DJ body) but I can say that the large bust is really great - not comically oversized, but full enough to look cute in dresses and tees and clearly indicate that she's an adult (most of my SDs are 65-75cm, so Taline is rather tiny next to most of them) I realize a picture in one of her dresses or tees might be more helpful, but I really can't resist spamming Taline posing like a champ in her bellydancer outfit

Finally found a dress in the 1920s style for Maia.The quality of the material and workmanship that went into making it is amazing. I originally bought the cloche hat first so I was looking for colors that would go together well with it and wow I think the whole look turned out great

Thank you! It was a bit of a challenge. The silky solid fabric was way trickier than the lace though, which surprised me, lol. I definitely plan to insert lace into more doll clothes, it always looks so nice. You can see a bit more of it here.
