Okay I just have a crazy question to ask, how long does it take to make 1 pair of heel feet?? I ordered Normal skin in May of this year??? And it says "Before Shipping" on my order status...…..gee I hope to get them this year, but that may not happen.

 

@derilan85 after 4 months, you should always check in with them. They're all such small shops, I've had many orders misplaced in the past by different companies..

 

Hi everyone! I would like to ask - do SupiaDolls usually response to emails? I'm waiting for my first Supia doll - I've placed an order on October 9 and am waiting since then. I was told they usually ship the doll within the claimed 3 months. Since it's been 3 months already, I checked about the shipping a week ago and no response. What is your experience?

 

I think she may use a translator for her emails and Q&A board. She hasn't responded to a question I asked ten days ago. My last order took about six months, ordered June 29 and arrived Dec 27. I believe she is a one person shop. But the dolls are gorgeous when they arrive!

 

Yes, that's what I think according to her Instagram account - she seems to be a young lady and running the business all by herself. Other collectors in my country told me she usually ships the dolls timely. Well, what else to do than wait... I'm so looking forward to the doll arrival that I'm becoming impatient. She's Heeji in light tan on 65 double jointed body.

 

The dolls are not shipping particularly timely at the moment, I think. I ordered my girl on August 12, and she was just shipped this week.

 

Thanks for the info. Oh well, what else than waiting... At least with this manufacturer, one can be pretty sure the doll will arrive eventually.

 

Will be glad to finally get my high heeled feet for my Sable ( Heeji ). This is the longest wait for a pair of feet/parts I have ordered, but Dollshe beats them all, still waiting for that order too.....

 

Ugh, 7-8 months is still unusual for Supia, but if the main artist or skilled staff become ill or something, everything goes to heck hang in there ya'all, it's gotta get better at some point!

 

True and it could be that C Virus as well that has the entire globe in a panic, can't wait to get these feet so I can paint her toenails.

 

I ordered my Juah on the ballerina body on 2/15. She’s before shipping now!

 

That's good news.
I am ordering a Juah and Lina on Thursday.
Hopefully there will not be an excessive delay in processing but if there is I understand.

If there is such a place, can someone point me to where I can see examples of all the different makeup options?
I have been only able to locate normal and smoky A thus far.

@The Art Dolls I don't think there is such a picture. I remember they added a new Faceup type to some of their dolls, but I currently can't find it, maybe they took it away?

Thanks, I agree. From all the combinations I was able to find I liked the light tan with smoky A. It's actually quite surprising to me how different these dolls look with different skin tones.

I keep checking that status like a loser but it was only about a week ago, lol.

@The Art Dolls the wait is probably about three months but the body I ordered at the end of December just arrived Thursday with no notice. Maybe check once or twice a week!

 

My blank girl shipped just shy of 2 months.

Do any of you guys know if Supiadoll answers emails? :O I emailed them a week ago to ask a question and haven't heard back, just wanted to know if this is normal for Supiadoll >.<

 

Yes, they do answer but have found them to be very slow. I'm not sure that they understand English as well as the girls at Peakswoods. Supia makes lovely dolls.

 

I've always asked my questions the the Q&A section of Supia's site. They have been a little slow lately, but that's kind of expected from everyone nowadays

I usually can't stand the wait for ordering a new doll, but I'm going to bite the bullet and order from Supia. I tried to find a second hand girl with faceup - none for sale anywhere. Fabric Friends isn't a dealer anymore.

I like the bigger heads. Does anyone have a pic of several girls together to see how their heads compare?

So, here I am wandering into yet another doll company's discussions. . . I am planning to hopefully get a Juah with the Ballerina body once I've paid off some other doll related things. What's the current wait time like, and can anyone tell me how layaway works? I've been trying to find things on the site but it's a little difficult. . . Do they start the doll once you're fully paid or once you put in the layaway?

 

Hi @TatterPunk , how ya doing? I probably fell off the FID discussion thread again, I always do . But anyways, Supiadoll used to take about the usual 3-4 months, but with the pandemic, it's all up in the air. Layaway, in my opinion is useless for Supiadoll. They won't start making your doll until the final payment is made, so you are better off just saving on your own and paying fully when you are ready. I remember somewhere it was written, but now I can't find it either (wasn't ever easy to find) I think, for you to know for sure, you'll need to write them. Hope that helps??

 

That does help! Thank you and I'm doing okay. I sort of fell off the FID discussion and into all the Dollshe ones myself. . and now this one. Apparently I'm branching out into other brands finally. And big dolls. I am not gonna have space for all the million dolls 0__0 I'm getting.

Soooo I ordered her. I figured I ought to get the order in sooner and then just kinda deal with replacing my funds over the next couple months. No more doll buying for the rest of the year for me.
Do I need to contact them in the Q&A to confirm my order or should it be okay on its own?

 

Congratulations! I've been trying to find a Supia gal in the US for a couple months so I wouldn't have to order and wait. Now i wish I had just ordered a new one.

 

Yeah, I was trying that for a bit too. Unfortunately wanting a specific doll with a specific body hasn't made that easy, thus I decided to put myself a little more in debt to buy her. I plan for this girl to wear -all- of the fancy dresses and cute outfits. Just need to find her a name.

I would love to see spam of her if you are willing! I have a weakness for ballerina dolls it seems. Not that I have any in my hands yet. . but I have a fashion AND a Classic size Dollshe Diana I'm waiting for, and now this girl.

Even so, if you have links to any photos so I can get an idea of proportion of head to body, I'd love it! And yay Diana! I am pretty sure my Juah and my Diana will be in the same story. They likely will be dancers together at least. I am excited to be delving once more into the world of 1/3 sized dolls after a few years of fashion size ones. . . I will likely need to put up more shelves though 0__0.

Here's where I start asking a zillion questions for the next however long it takes. . . What eye size is best for Juah. . and wig size for that matter? Also is there a "What Fits The Ballerina Body" type thread yet, or is it too new?

Edit: Also, I am looking at the foot measurement, it seems to be a smidgen smaller than the FID man's feet? Has anyone tried Peter Pevensie sized shoes on these girls? (that's what I have on my FID boyo).

 

Hi friends! I am waiting on my original tan Ji-In to come in secondhand, and I want to make sure I have some items for her when she arrives. I'm wondering if anyone can measure the circumference of their Ji-In's head in centimeters so I know which wig size to get. I am looking at a custom-made one on a hard cap. Thanks!

 

Congrats on that beautiful girl, terraform! I have a tan Ji-in too, she's a yummy! (Like most of Supia's dolls )
I measured her head as about 19,5 cm (almost 7 3/4 inch). Mine is wearing a 7/8 wig, though not a hardcap wig. Hope that helps!

I got my Supia Nael head yesterday. She is so pretty (and non-photogenic for now)! The round box is beautiful.
After 8 months waiting... And gnashing of teeth when paying ransom to customs. But I love her so much!

Sooo, my Heeji arrived safely home yesterday!
And Supia added two extra heads (Rosy and Juah) as she promised as an excuse present for the extremely long waiting time.
She's beautiful! And tall
But I have a question - is she supposed to be able to sit normally? Because she isn't. She might be strummer too tight. She's on the 65 cm body.

 

@Sillion Oh, I love Juah, and Rosy, but I have a Rosy at home, so it's Juah I am pining for, LOL

 

Congrats! My Juah and Lina finally arrived too. I haven't had too much trouble with them sitting but I've noticed their upper torso joint is annoyingly tilted back so I sueded their backs to keep them tilted forward in a more natural position.

@IngieBee Thank you ever so much! The wig is by SophyMolly (her IG name). It was a bit pricey but worth every penny. I ended up buying two of them although nobody is wearing the second one just yet. I love the way it looks on Element and it can be styled in so many different ways. Too bad I'm really bad styling hair! Lol

 

Ouch! That IS pricey LOL. But I think it was well worth it too @The Art Dolls . I am transitioning to accessorizing my dolls now, but I did make an expensive doll order, which is on layaway so that's slowing me down :P
