I ordered Hamin in the milk brown on ballet body on Dec 10th, and she arrived Thursday 2/24/2022
The company uses the orangey/pink color for face blush and body, hand, foot blushing. I had to remove the face blush it was just unacceptable, all the other blushing i left intact.
This is much, much better

i first came across supias on instagram and ive been obsessed with all the sculpts available!

thinking on getting haeun or roda or juah or tabitha / considering all the sculpts lmao with the spring pink makeup!

@33happymee Welcome to Supia! Mine have smoky makeup, but I have found that Supia's faceups IRL look just like the website photos.

 

i am having a hard time finding any kind of measurements for supia dolls, could anyone tell me if heeji would fit on a body with a 9cm neck? i want to hybrid

This is super exciting! I ordered the same doll on Dec 15th. So this hopefully means I can expect mine in the next couple of weeks! I went with the old face up and I'm thinking of making her a beach babe type anesthetic to match the tan color.

 

I just measured the neck of the Supia double jointed body at 9cm, so you should be good!

 

She won't be here for a while but my first girl a Supia Haeun in grey with the Black Swan makeup has been ordered.

She is on the ballerina body but I am so excited for her to come home.

 

I was wondering if anyone can tell me what size or what brand of shoes fit the ballerina body heel feet? I have a Dreaming Rosy in need of heels but the SD13 heels I have don’t fit her. Is she a SD16 size or just have weird feet?

 

SD16 sounds about right. Most of the heels I buy are that size and I have no trouble getting my girl's feet into them

TBH I’m a little confused. When I look up 1/3 size shoes it always says SD13 & SD16 listed as the size but how can they be both? Is there a company that carries actual SD16 size?

 

some shops tell you how the shoe fits on different sized feet. rRabit is particularly good about this and sometimes also provides photos of the shoe on different sized feet in the listing.

 

So I'm planning on buying a Ji-in on the ballerina body in the near future. Unfortunately, I'm having trouble finding these three measurements: head, eyes, feet. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

 

I don't know about all the heads, but my girl has a 7-8 Leeke wig on and I think 12mm eyes. I've got her in some Volks SD16 shoes. She's a Juah.

 

I have my girl in some retired Freedom Teller sized Iplehouse EID women heels (I think these are the size - Freedom Teller sent these to me by mistake in my order for male clothing and never sent me return shipping for these XD) and they're pretty big but she stands in them well I think in this pic, I have in the flat feet wearing these shoes. I'm going to shop for some smaller sizes tho

 

I can't speak for all head types too, as @DraloreShimare points out, but my Esther looks good in 14mm sized eyes. I had her in 12mm sized eyes too (no pics) and they also look good, but I think I prefer the bigger irises. The wig in this picture is from Peakswoods and I believe is 8-9 sized, but its a bit big. I had her try on Crobidoll sized 8 and it fit well, maybe a little loose too (it is a well worn wig). My Esther is currently sent off for a faceup but I plan to get some more 7/8 wigs to try.

@ChristinasDream I made a mistake in my previous uploads- those pictures I took a while back and never posted them. The below pictures were taken yesterday while I was sueding my Supia. The EID Iplehouse sized shoes in my previous post actually fit perfectly for the flat feet. The shoes are huge for the heel feet though.

So I think its safe to say that any shoes for Iplehouse EID women fit perfectly for flat feet (ankle shoes at least - not sure about boots). I don't know what will fit heel feet, they seem alot smaller than the flat feet and I do not have any other SD16 shoes from other companies or SD13 shoes to try.

 

That's actually a trick I already use for my Feeple65 girls; the flat feet fit into Iplehouse YID/SID/EID/HID shoes with heels perfectly, which saves me from having to dig out the heel feet for SD16 stuff.

 

While I was sueding, I got stuck at what to do at this part in the stringing process


I'm not really sure what to do with that middle string - I should've taken a photo before I took anything apart

I thought maybe loop the middle string underneath the leg string, then take the loop on the left, go in between the loop with the knot, tighten it, so that the knot ends up at the abdomen, pull the longer end through stomach part, loop the string around the chest string and pull upward and through the neck hole (sorry my description kind of confusing). The problem with this though is that its not tight enough which makes me wonder if I'm not stringing it correctly or if I missed a step? The leg stringing is good and the chest stringing I did not unassamble as it was already good, I just do not know how to string the middle section if anyone can point me to the direction of how to do that (I searched videos but coudn't find one that uses 3 strings - only found videos with 2).

Figured it out, was so simple Anyway - body does sitting poses so much better now with hot glue sueding the pelvis joint Really loving this doll and can't wait for my Esther to come back from faceups Really wanting a tan Supia to go with my Esther

 

@krystina that's my only gripe with the ballerina body, the torso slipping out when she sits. Glad to hear that hot glue sueding solves the problem!

Glad I'm not the only one that appreciates Supia's darker looks. They're the only default faceups that I like!

Between all the recent discounts and months-long pining, I couldn't hold off any longer, and finally ordered my Ji-in. Hopefully the pear-shaped ballerina body isn't too hard to dress; it's so aesthetically pleasing, but those measurements kind of threw me for a loop.

I had the 65 for a while and found she more or less fit SID clothes, so that might be a starting point with the ballerina bodies, because they’re only a couple cm different? I found the 65 too broad-shouldered for things like sd16, and even supergem sized clothes (especially old supergem, with their hourglass waists!)

 

I'm looking to get an older Soom NS floating head a Supia 65cm body, but not sure which resin color would be the closest match. I'm leaning towards Peach, which seems like it might be a bit too light, or maybe beige, which seems like it might be a bit too dark...

 

I dunno for sure, @Girrl, but I'd err on the side of a lighter-toned head any day when it comes to fixing the match...

 

Yeah... but beige looks a bit like it's on the tan spectrum, and old Soon NS... isn't...

Hi. I just bought a second hand Supia Lina in milk brown (her owner was very up front about her problems). The previous owner (first owner) had her on display for 10 days - no direct sunlight - and she faded horribly every place that was not covered by clothing or a wig. I was wondering if you have had any trouble. (I'm currently trying to get her to fade everywhere consistently.

 

A bad batch of resin?? I haven't had any trouble at all.

 

Hmm I didn't have any fading issues and I frequently leave my girl out in indirect light. I think I know which girl you bought (I saw her on marketplace), I really thought she was left out in the sun for a long time. Wishing you all the best in the project!!

This is my new girl Esther, in milk brown with 'old smoky faceup'. To say I'm smitten would be an understatement

 

Today, I just received my beige Hamin with smoky makeup.
In my opinion the beige skin tone looks similar to Iplehouse peach gold. I read earlier in this thread someone else said that the beige had some "red" undertones to it and not what they would call beige. They are right. This is similar to Iplehouse peach gold, and a bit darker than than SJ's peach cream skin tone. I really like it.

It's a beautiful body but I wasn't keen on it for posing so I sold it. My favourite out of all the Supia bodies is the 60cm double joint. I've had the single joint before and also have the Ballerina body.
