Hi guys -- I just got my ballerina body in the mail. She doesn't sit up straight (or anything close to straight). Also, her hips keep popping out when I move her. Is this normal?

I'm glad this got posted again. I'm still trying to figure out this move to be honest, haha. I currently have my dolls pressed up agains a wall to keep them upright while sitting lol.

@Meyneth not yet as far as I can tell. I ordered a supia Rosy in milk brown recently, will update here when I get her!

 

Ahaha yeah it's a really recent release! The Milk brown (from their IG post) appears to have a more reddish undertone than the light tan resin, which I'm really into I'm super curious to see the Real skin resin now!

 

I was going to paint my Heeji today, but I had a unwanted visitor in my room where I sleep and where my dolls are ( hate Wasp's and Hornet's ) and I was NOT happy. Now I keep checking everywhere in my room and now it is colder than the North Pole cause we have the AC on at full blast ( I would prefer if actual Snow came out the unit instead of cold air......) so yeah whole day ruined. Thanks Spring..

 

Yeah, the Milk Brown looks more pink than the yellowy light tan. And the real skin is something I would I have preferred to have instead of the normal body I bought a while ago.
I think the post said that they're discontinuing the light tan though?

Wasps for some reason only build their nests on my room windows. No one else's room in this house... so I can never open my windows ><

 

Yeah it seems so The ballerina body is no longer available in light tan already.

I like their new resin colors, at least on screen. A bit off topic, but I'm wondering if Real Skin would match the elusive Elfdoll Homme Skin.

 

If you Google "decoy wasp nest diy" you'll find a bunch of different results- a friend of mine crocheted one and put it outside her window, and she hasn't had a real wasp nest there in years.

I just ordered a two WS heads, Rosy and Dreaming Rosy, and I am so excited. I've been in love with the Rosy sculpt since I got into the hobby and I'm finally bringing her home!

 

Supiadoll has new skin tones so that just gives me more of an excuse to add more of the girls to my collection! They also made a post about it on the website. I really like the rose pink so I'll definitely have to get Esther in that skin tone ASAP! I hope that more pictures of the Real color will be shown.

I ordered a DF-H 1/3 boy body for a lina head, and I'm thinking the new rose pink resin might be a better match for when I order the head, but I'm going to wait to get the body and match it to my 2020 NS haeun before I decide.

 

Supiadoll showed the Real skin color on their Instagram and they also teased a gray resin color! Gray would be so nice! I'm looking forward to seeing sculpts in that color. Ahh, I really want a girl in each of the new colors! They're all too pretty.

 

So she's the Light Tan right? That was the newest tan before this current update.
Apparently the light tan is being discontinued, so the darkest resin will be the Milk Brown now

Do a lot of companies match their normal resin color to volks? I love to hybrid dolls left right and center, but volks isn't really a company that's on my radar

 

I mean, I have a few Volks girls and I have a Supia body in the original normal colour. I could do a little comparison if you need?

 

I definitely will! I've wanted one since the last time I was in the hobby, so I'm happy to finally be able to get him.

 

Does white skin resemble Volks white as well?

Or is it better the cream white?

Any idea which other company resembles their white resin?

 

Hmm I haven’t been interested in supia in a long while but seeing Esther in that new tan color seems so magical. I’m tempted I do wonder what fits the ballerina body as well though

 

The new Real skin and Milk Brown look really similar in the new Instagram post. I think I'm ordering Real skin twins and trading one of my Light Tan girls for a Milk Brown eventually... ><

I am so stoked that Supia is now offering gray skin. I used to want a gray Lana years ago, but wasn't willing to do the dye job myself. Maybe next year...

 

My heart screaming for Esther! Or Heeji I wonder how pink and bright the rose pink skin is- I wish I can see it on a doll. Undecided between real and pink skin. First though- I should figure out which girl I want

Thank you! 4 months not to bad- I didn’t do layaway this time just since sale I got a couple of their lovely outfits as well. 4 months- gives me some time to decide if I should add an Emma head

 

I took some pictures to celebrate the arrival of Taline's 60cm ballerina body, and my ability to hold my camera again (after 4 surgeries...)

She was previously on the 60cm DJ body, and I can confirm that the chest piece of that body fits on the Ballerina body (little gap in the back because the upper chest parts are shaped slightly different). I hate the look of the extra shoulder joints on the Ballerina body, and using the DJ upper chest piece meant all of Taline's old tops would still fit, but the resin had obviously mellowed and the mismatch was a little glaring. None of her pants fit anymore either, but at least the feet stayed the same, so her shoe collection is safe. Does anyone have jeans recommendations for the 60cm Ballerina body? I could make them myself, but I'd rather spend that time making other things

Aside from not being a fan of the way the shoulder inserts break up the otherwise beautiful line of Supia's collarbones - which I generally like to emphasize when photographing Taline (example, also that dress no longer fits her) - they add both width and bulk to the shoulders and not all of Taline's blouses fit quite right anymore

@IngieBee Yeah, it's a pity but I'm not in a hurry to buy those 2 heads if I cannot benefit of the event.

What surprises me is that their EMS premium fees are cheaper compared to PW's O.O (unless it was part of the event).

 

I put an order for grey skin Eunice + grey Naomi head last week. It's the first time since years I put an order on Supia dolls! But I couldn't resist, I love grey skin.

 

Oh yes we are all safe from those stinging creatures, I had the Wasp/Hornet spray to take care of it. Had to double check everything and all is good. Still can't paint my doll yet cause the weather keeps flipping from 40/50 to 70/80 every day.

 

For anyone who was confused (like me lol), the old white skin will still be available. The name for it has changed to "Light Rose White".

 

I really liked Light Tan and ordered some heel feet for my girl the last day they had that color. Love Milk Brown too though. I need one in every color honestly.

 

Lol same. Next promotion they have I would like to get one in real skin.

 

I couldn’t find on their website, can someone tell me the size shoes recommended for the ballerina body? Thank you!
