I own heydoll in pink but I don't own any Supia! Heydoll pink tho it's the less pink resin I have (I own DFA, DFH and 2DDoll pink)

Whenever a company offers both NS pink and NS yellow I worry that their colours contrast each other a lot and you end up with bright pink vs banana yellow

 

The contrast is usually not that dramatic. Also the pink tone in resin tends to fade.

 

If that helps you I can take a comparison picture tomorrow between all my resins, so if you own any you can get a better idea, even if I don't have any Supia atm

I gave my Supia Ji-in, Gladys, a new faceup. I'm pretty happy with it, but the brows will take some getting used to, since she's been sporting very very thin ones since her arrival back in 2014. I think I need to add freckles to her body now...

Does anyone have any tips or tricks for piercing the removable Supia ears?

 

My order from July (esther ballarina body milk brown) is stuck on "before shipping" for 3 weeks now, is that normal? I know it was the holidays but still kinda concerning since I never ordered from them before. Not sure what to expect.

 

I'm surprised by how few measurements are on the Supia website (maybe I'm missing something?), does anyone have measurements for the Supia Rosy head? I just ordered a Rosy and would like to start hunting for a wig. Thank you!

 

Rosy has a pretty small head so she fits 7-8in wigs better than 8-9in, though the latter might work if its on the smaller side of 8in with the use of a silicone wig cap. Hope that helps!

I was just wondering, does anyone know if milk brown is close to Fairyland tan? Every photo I see of Supia tan resin looks SO different to the next. It’s impossible to gauge

Hey! I have a gal in that color and it's basically pale pink, and not at all close to any NS I've seen. I'll try and get a comparison pic between her and my 2021 MNF kiddo tomorrow for you though. Probably also my Luts boy, too.

Its a lot paler than I expected, I have an incoming Fairyland FeePle65 body that I'd like a Supia head for, I'm thinking maybe going for a head in cream white or light rose white instead and blushing it to match

 

If anyone has Heeji please give me some advices on which eye size should I get for her? On supia website 12mm eyes are stated but I think that’s a bit too small. Maybe 14/5mm works?

 

I have 14mm in mine, and there is not much white showing. So maybe 12mm is correct.

 

Not sure if it helps, but here's a comparison between Supia Milk Brown(Jan 2022) & Fairyland Tan (2021)


In my opinion, Fairyland Tan is darker and has stronger warm/red undertones, Supia's Milk Brown leans more towards a cool undertone. In person, Milk Brown is even lighter than in the photos (atleast imo).
The photo quality is kinda meh, sorry, but it's the only lighting that I had that actually showed the main difference between Supia and FL - the 2nd photo (Supia left, FL right) has more lighting than the 1st, but it kinda conceals the difference between the two resin colours.

I wouldn't say the match between these two is close at all, but maybe, with a lot of blushing involved, Supia could be matched to FL - the other way around doesn't seem possible (atleast not for me).

 

Omg, she is gorgeous (love her wig!), and wow, the resin color is so pretty!

 

Lark is a supiadoll lina head in rose pink on a DF-H 56cm boy body in normal pink (not an exact match but close, but the body is a bit darker and casts more peachy in certain lighting, like the final picture. The that last photo, the body is more in shadow than the head was, but it's an accurate color for the rose pink in my opinion -- very pale with a bit of pink. His elf ears are a bit thin at the tips and look more or less white to me).

My Supiadoll Lina is a few years old now (I got her in the mail on March 9, 2019), and I was wanting to order some heel feet for her, but I'm not sure which body she has, and which color resin will match. Could anyone help? I wasn't sure if they still offer resin that matches the old normal skin tone, or if I'll have to buy secondhand in order to get the right color for her heeled feet.

These photos are a bit creepy cause she didn't have ears at the time (magnet issues, I accidentally glued the magnet back in backwards after it fell out). I would really appreciate any help if you know which body she has. I THINK it's the small chest double jointed body, but I just don't know for sure which body it is. She was a gift from my aunt.

You are right on the body. I don’t know how much the normal color has changed but a small difference can be hidden by stockings.

 

Supia sent my friend a comparison photo of their old Normal and the new one (Peach) and there is only a slight difference. I can't add the photo as I'm having issues with Imgur I'm sure Supia will send it if you ask them, she messaged Supia via Instagram

I got my Heeji and am in the process to dress her up. One problem is none of the shoes I have fits her. Where do you guys find shoes for 60cm ballerina body? I’m looking for high heels

Thank you. Her skin colour is real skin. It looks warmer and darker in person compare to official photos. I guess studio light changed the skin colour. I wasn’t sure I’d keep her when I opened her box but the colour can go with my AS tan doll head so I decided to keep her

Supia has the peach/normal comparison on their site. The colors look quite different on my screen.

 

Hi, just saw Tabitha with normal makeup, I just need her but I never had a supia girl, I don't find the informations on the website, how the layaway works? They start making the doll once the layaway is finished?

The waiting time is 75 days for a doll with makeup, is that true or..? ^^

And I watched reviews on the ballerina body, the people said they had the pointy ballerina feet with the body but on the website it is written as an option, if I take the option I'll received 1 or 2 pairs? (I've already made the mistake with iplehouse heel feet so )

Ahd I don't see other hands for different poses, I fear it doesn't exist?

@DollInk There is an other pair of hands here, you only need to choose the pointing hands in the scroll down menu. And the right skintone, of course. XD
About the 75 days, I'm not sure. I waited A LONG TIME last year for a doll without make-up. But it was when Supia realeased all the new skin colors, and maybe that was what slowed them.
And about the feet, I personnaly had the pointy feet with my order. But you can asks supia to be sure, because it would be a pity if you didn't receive them.

Do Supia heads (apart from Rosy) fit on Fairyland FeePle65 body? Photos would be appreciated, especially Nael on the F65 body

I alteady tried my Rosy head on the body and she kinda looks out of proportion but have been told Rosy has a smaller head. I ordered Nael for my F65 body so I'm hoping it will fit ok

 

I've never tried a Supia head on my F65 because of that key arrangement on the neck, but I think Nael looks good on a taller body. This is a useless answer, I know.

 

The key is easy enough to take off (I've got a F65 hybrid) but the F65 body, at least the one I have, is useless at posing (or sitting...) so wouldn't be my first choice of hybrid

 

I can give it a try if you want. I have supia heads (even if no longuer Nael) and feeple65 body. But mine has a modified neck. And as said @Girrl it is horrible at posing!

 

That would be great of you could, mine seems okay at posing so far. I just haven't got the Nael head yet so decided to try my Rosy head on it and she looked a bit like a popsicle lol

 

How does the Ballerina body pose? I've heard good things and bad. But I've already ordered a doll, so I'm worried.

 

There is a trick to getting it to sit, I think someone mentioned above. I have it on order too, I already have the 60cm double jointed Supia body and I like it a lot. I always hot glue suede my dolls to help hold poses too

 

After hot glue suede on the waist joint (so she can sit upright), probably one of the most beautiful and well posing bodies I've ever owned. Don't worry, it's a super gorgeous and easy to love body ^^

They also have my favorite type of elbow and knee joints that hold poses at many angles.

 

@keara May I see photos of how you hot glue suede please? I've never hot glue any of my dolls but my Heeji couldn't sit at all so seriously thinking to suede her waist joint

 

Hi, I just bought my 4th double jointed 65cm body but haven’t paid the PayPal yet. I asked for layaway but don’t know how this works since I rarely buy on layaway. Can someone fill me in? I expected to get a response to my question to Supia about layaway tonight (Monday morning in Asia) but so far no response.

 

Supia got back to me with a default 60 day layaway (in 3 payments) which is fine. I could also make a custom layaway if I needed. Good to know.

 

Ahh I dont have my girl with me now (my friend is making clothes for her) but you can just use hot glue gun and apply very thin layer around her hip joint (part that connects to her waist piece). You can experiment to see how it works for you -- hot glue can be easily removed if it is not to your liking.

 

You mat find information in the workshop section. Also, I believe you need to use low temperature hot glue.

 

I'm glad to see a couple of you saying that the Ballerina body poses great. I notice that I don't see a lot of owner photos of it, but I have it on order for my incoming Rosy regardless because the company photos are so beautiful and intriguing. I have no qualms about sueding if need be.

 

Apart from the sitting, the only other complaint I have is that the wrist joint has limited range compared to some other dolls (can't bend the wrist 90deg, maybe just up to 60deg at most?) but is a minor issue for me.

I think the Supia did an amazing job balancing aesthetics and mobility on the Ballerina!
