No the supia dolls just use normal s hooks you only have to worry about that with fairyland

Does Supia have a lineup type picture somewhere of all their current resin colors in the same photo? I just received my first girl in real skin and now that I know how it is in person I'm curious how much lighter or darker the other colors from Supia are next to it but can't find a comparison picture like this. I thought I may have seen one somewhere on the website...

 

They do on their website and they have more detailed information on their instagram

 

:p well, I was asking because if there is one in those places I cannot find it. The closest I can find is a comparison of the tans on instagram a few years ago, and photos on order pages of blank beads of three colors but not all in the same image and missing the newer colors.

If there is one, can you please show me the link? There are a lot of sales pages, so I may just be missing it.

It's from 2023. On 5-2-24 they posted an update on the "News" page, saying they discontinued the Rose Brown and Brown colors, "due to manufacturing difficulties".

I was looking at Supia pictures on Flickr and came across this picture. I don't see her on the main Supia site, but she looks vaguely familiar. I purchased my original Rosy back in 2007 and feel like I have seen this girl before a long time ago, but really can't remember who she was. supia

Edit: Never mind I just found out through more research she is a Supia60 which was a limited run of 20 a long time ago.

Has anyone made any hybrids of recent Supia heads and Volks bodies (whether DD or SD)? I think I've seen some hybrids of older Supia girl heads on DD bodies but am not sure how the current lineup would lend themselves to this (and/or to hybridization with their resin bodies) as far as match etc

 

For those of you that have the Ballerina body and the 65cm body, which one do you prefer and why? I'm thinking about getting another Supia girl but I'm unsure of which body to pick for her.

I have a Muse on Volks SDgr girl body. Must have a pic of her somewhere, naked, but here is she with some clothes:



Both the head and the body are quite old, so I can say nothing about resin colors. About size and neck, it is a good hybrid. (She has loongsoul hands because I broke one of her original hands' wrist)

 

Just landed a superb deal on a Supia ballerina girl for a hybrid I’m making—only downside is, she comes with a head already! Being Me, I naturally have to keep the head and make it into another character—anyone put supia heads on boy bodies? What bodies do they fit well—I have mostly girls!

 

Hey guys, apologies if this was asked before, but where does Supia find the pointe shoes displayed with the ballerina body????? I have a ballerina incoming and she needs shoes!

 

I actually have been tempted to ask them myself I need at least 3 pairs for several ballerinas

 

Dollmore has a ton of pointe shoes - but they are for Dollmore's kid (MSD) size dolls. You might want to email Dollmore abby and ask?

 

It's a toe shoe key ring, but it fits ballerina body point feet well. (Ankle ribbons must be attached separately.)

Hey everyone! I noticed that Supia is rocking a lot of resin colors right now. Does anyone happen to have comparisons between Supia white or cream white and Volks white, or Supia light rose white and Volks alabaster (the Elsa/Cinderella color), or Supia peach and Volks fair or pinkish fair (the Ariel/Rapunzel color)? I have all of the Volks colors and none of the Supia ones, so any comparison is really helpful to me! I’m hoping to see recent versions of these resins, if possible? Thank you very much!

I'm sorry I didn't know the skins of other companies well so I couldn't give you an exact answer.
I know that our Peach skin has a little bit more pink than Volks Normal(?). (It doesn't reddent much.)

Has anyone ordered the new 75cm Ballerino body? It's so gorgeous! I'm worried it will be a bit too big for me though.

 

I have it. It’s big but not huge. If you only hae 65cm boys it will probably be too big for you but it’s less of a stretch for 70cm dolls.

Just wanted to share a picture of my new Chloe. Her face is so beautiful. She’s my first doll with removable ears and it’s always a little funny when I accidentally knock one off.

 

How does he pose? Sit?

 

It’s been a while since I played with him so I will get back to you. I do remember he can free stand.

 

Okay so he is heavy. And top heavy like Sooms but a lot better (Sooms are almost impossible to stand). However, his hips lock so he can free stand solidly but it takes some negotiation with gravity. Once standing, he’s very solid (I could leave the room). As far as sitting, he wants to lean back, but again, by adjusting his chest joint, he sits up. If I’m in a hurry, I prop against a wall to get him to 90 degrees. He is more upright while kneeling. He looks quite good kneeling. His body is pretty gorgeous to look at in all poses. Sculpted hands and feet, very pretty. His feet are wide and short and sturdy. I think aesthetically I would like them longer but maybe the shorter length adds to his solidness and might be a mechanical choice.

I took photos in clothes since my dolls are usually clothed. Posing may be easiest nude.

I just bought a Nael on a ballerina body,small chest in rose pink skin!
Most of my SD sized crew is male so I thought it was time to add a girl to my SD crew

 

I was hunting through the responses and wasn’t sure if this ever got answered.
If I were to remove the neck piece from a Feeple65 female and put a Supia Haeun head on would it work proportion wise?
I tried looking up neck measurements for the Supia head and I’ve found a few different answers.

 

I have a modded f65 and a Haeun head, so I can try this hybrid out for you, sometime this week!

Got a new wig and eyelashes for my dreaming Tabitha that pulls in all the berry colors yay I wasn't sure if I was going to repaint her haha. I plan to dust her face and shoulders with gold after I figure out her outfit, but yeah I'm loving her

My own temptation is somebody in Sweet Blue, because it’s such a lovely pastel colour, and I would love to do a faceup on it!

 

I too have been contemplating a sweet blue and probably a real skin --- maybe brown resin. I'm not sure yet! I may want a standard peach haha.

 

Is there anyone here who knows whether Iplehouse and Supiadoll have any compatible resin matches for their colors? I’m mostly interested in NS or one of the lighter tan colors but I’m not too picky

 

I think maybe iplehouse normal and supia peach could be half decent, peach matches switch normal beige closely.

 

Just sharing pics of my Heeji wherever I can! I was lucky enough to adopt her from someone on Insta after following them specifically for her - I feel so thankful to have seen the sales post. She has a stunning faceup by Tsuminaki on Instagram.




She's still waiting for her actual wig/eyes/shoes so she's wearing much more modern clothes than I have planned for her 'final' look. I did try on her Biscuit Studio butterfly dress though, and I cannot wait to see her all put together!
