SQ-Labs Ko School Girl (KSG) Discussion

I'm not sure if any US dealers have anyone that can communicate in Korean. I believe that is why the dealer I ordered through was able to come into contact with them.

 

Who did you order through?

 

I ordered through The Little Garden. They are based out of the UK. I believe they even have full dolls and parts in stock on their site.

I paid 15 euros for shipping. They just did a pre order so they might get more in stock soon.

 

Hello! Just ordered one of the new 34cm bodies from The Little Garden. Will they be included in this thread?

I am very happy with this body. It's a tiny version of the SD sized body and I love it! I haven't gotten a chance to take nicer pictures of the body but I did take one of a comparison of height next to a Minifee here.

I'm going away for the summer so I'll be ordering a headback when I get back. But the resin match is pretty much perfect!

 

Oh my, it's been a while since I looked at this thread ! I love this more mature tiny body !
But, are they planning on making more chibi molds ? (I want a Hime head ><)

Also, since the KDG34 body is tinier than a minifee's, I wonder what clothes would fit ?

 

I would LOVE if they made more chibi sculpts as well! On The Little Garden BJD's website it says that it fits both YO-SD shoes and outfits but I haven't tried myself. I'm thinking that nin9style's Bunny Nine clothes may fit but since the bust is large, tops may be a bit snug if they even fit at all.

 

I don't have high hopes of getting an answer, but I asked SQ Lab if they planned on making new chibi heads. I'll let you know if they ever answer !

Yes the bust is pretty large, I'm not sure "normal" yosd clothing would work :O

 

How many of you have both the KSG-L body and other 1/6 mature tinies?
Which ones do you prefer?

I didn't know about this doll body until today at the Doll exhibition. (Dollvie Hong Kong)
I think I'm really interested.

I asked today in the Doll exhibition-- They work, just that dresses will look a lot shorter.

 

That's nice to know ! Well if they ever make a Hime Chibi head I'll surely buy this body and I'll compare it to my other mature tinies (well, my Rhubarbes). But that's a lot of ifs XD

 

I think it's bigger than other mature tinies, I suppose?
The heads seem interchangeable with YoSD sized heads (1/6 scale), whilst other mature tinies have heads PukiPuki sized (1/12 scale).

Anyone know if there are other dolls this size at all?

 

Has anyone tried Bunny Nine clothes on the KDG34 body yet? Just wondering since I'm trying to figure out what I want my new doll to wear.

For my part I bought a Chibi Ren in december throught The Little Garden shop ( I'm very satisfied with them ! ), but althought it's a girl body I turned it into a little boy ( with clothes we can't see the difference lol ). So let me introduce you my Chibi Kurokocchi ( also called mini Tetsu ) :

I had a KSG-L Body and bought a Blythe sized dress from Etsy, it fit well, but when I bought a Blythe stock outfit it was a bit big...

Hello all, here I am ressurecting this old thread~ Any SQ-Lab lovers still around?

My friend gifted me a Chibi Moe head for Christmas and I ordered the KSG-L body to go with it.
We live in Japan so we ordered through their Yahoo! auctions site. I've heard people are having success with that, and we did receive confirmation of our order and everything, so hopefully it will go smoothly.

It's been a while, but does anyone know if their international communication has improved? It's such a shame that they have been neglecting so many customers lately.

 

I also ordered an SQLabs chibi last year, through Y!J (well, through a dealer here in DoA), My Tsubaki now named Random arrived very quickly and I would definitely order another once they release more heads. I got the KSG-L body and I love the size! Although nothing I have at home fits it The body is sooo slim, most YoSD clothes look baggy on her. Luckily I have Soom Teenies at home and they are on the slimmer end of YoSD as well (although still bulkier than SQL) so I have at least something to not fall off her.

From this thread I noticed that Blythe and Barbie stuff might work, I have to test that myself.

I haven't gotten many photos of Random yet, since the days were so dark by the time she arrived, but I'll try to do an update as soon as I get a better pic.

Now I really want a chibi Tsubaki as well, fufufu. Maybe sometime in the future.

I ended up ordering their Hime head as well, which I will probably put on an MDD body and make into another little boy.

And wow! I knew the KSG bodies were small, but I didn't know they were that tiny! I think I'll be able to find some Blythe stuff pretty cheap around here, so I'll experiment with that and post the results.

 

Hello! I have a question, I have a KSG-L body and I was wondering what kind of foot it has. Any YOSD shoe can go well?

 

So far all YOSD shoes I've tried fit well. I believe her feet are a bit on the small side though so I can't vouch for sandals and open-toe styles, I haven't got any of them to try.

Hello all, it's been a while~

I was finally able to get my Chibi Moe put together with faceup (by the lovely Marika Darling) and clothes and everything, so I wanted fo share some pictures of him~

His name is Noel, since he was my Christmas gift.



I also had a question; does anyone have recommendations for where to find animetic eyes for these tinies? And what size? I have him wearing parabox eyes right now, but I'm not a huge fan of them. Thank you in advance~

 

May I ask what size eyes/wig your chibi moe wears? It's such a cute sculpt but I cant seem to find info on what size clothing/wigs/eyes it takes (I must be looking in the wrong places T__T; )

Hi!!!! I am (im)patiently waiting for a resell chibi tsubaki head with the SKG-L body. Is it really true that the LTF normal skin does not match SQ-Lab normal? So much disappointment if so because I wanted to put my LTF Ante head on it. She's older and even more yellowed than pink. Well, it so, my second option was to gift her to my daughter for Christmas (if I don't fall in love with her when she arrives in a few days ).

I'm looking for some info on current SQ Lab dealers. Old dealer links don't work anymore... Any official dealers still sell them? Or is the only way to be sure i'm buying original doll is going through Yahoo Japan auction proxy?

Just wanna share! I have a Dollmore Shabee head and SQ lab-31cm body hybrid, the head neck hole is a little too big and too deep, but I just put paper towel (should be something else better tho..lol I havn't get the time to fill epoxy in there) in the neck hole and it actually fits really well, I love the proportion!

I'm looking to buy a Moe KSGL from KoreaDolls this year, and I'm debating about the hands and resin color.
What color resin are the ones posted here? Kind of hard to tell if I want White or the "Normal".

For the hands, I'm thinking about getting every single extra pair available, so I have options. I noticed the chibi hands look a little different from the KSGL ones.
Anyone have experience with the 2 hand types or sizes?

Also, does anyone have the boy version? I am dying to know if he's much taller than the girl.

 

Hopefully brining this thread back to life. I got a KSGL girl body and was having trouble finding a head for it, but Sadol apparently sells SQ-Labs now! And I just ordered two heads! I'm so excited! I was planning to order clothes from Sadol anyway, this just gave me the push I needed. Now I just need to mod the girl body....ugh. I haven't done that in ages.

 

Does anybody know where I might be able to order that SQ Lab KDG34 body? I can’t find it anywhere!

 

My heads arrived today!! now I just have to sand off some breasts...and do faceups in cold weather. yay.
