He's adorable! I'm still holding out hope that they'll release a chibi Hime head before I cave and order one, but it's getting harder and harder each time I see these cuties!

 

He makes a very adorable boy! The WS is a lovely colour, I'm kind of regretting not getting it now

I didn't^^' He was second-hand. And my friend (who gave him to me) paid for fast shipping so he got here quick.

How long does SQlabs usually take?

 

It varies I think :3 I preordered my KSG-L Tsubaki on march 3rd and it still hasn't shipped from SQ-Lab. I think those who ordered through one of the SQ-Lab dealers already got theirs though. I think they got a lot of orders this pre-order period which is why some haven't shipped.

 

I can't speak for the other dealers, but my order from this most recent pre-order period hasn't shipped yet.

However, the average wait for SQ Lab for me has been around 6-9 weeks.

 

He`s adorable Those eye brows look great on him. Really makes a big difference.

Can`t wait to order my Tsubaki. But sadly first I need to buy a new computer.. My computer have seen it`s days

 

I recieved my 2 ksg-l bodies in 2 weeks, just in time for my daughters birthday......yeah ranka you do a great jod......

 

By chance has anyone used this body and put a Volks YoSD head on it? I'm curious on it's proportions as this new version of the body looks so nice. ^_^

Wow, 2 weeks! The website says 15 days so I was wondering if that was just business days or if it included weekends. Most companies specify "business days".
I ordered a KSG-L body with a Moe head how do you like the KSG-L body? Does it really fit YO-SD clothing?

My wait is about 3 weeks so far, which I don't mind, but I'm starting to get very excited and it's making it very difficult to wait patiently It's my first "Anime" doll so it feels a little different than waiting for a regular bjd. Like that very first doll excitement.

 

VampireAngel13, your Tsubaki looks quite cool as a boy. I never really expected to see that ^^

Has anyone tryed Smallfrys clothes from build a bear yet on these body's yet? (31cm ones) Tommow l think l may pick up an outfit to try on my my girl. Mind you l'll have to save up for her.

 

Whee~ my girl arrived! I got a free white kitty ears head band as well. The resin feels so nice and smooth and has such a lively tone (I got NS). I'm also super happy-suprised at how well she poses. I got the KSG-L body. It was amusing at how large the head was in comparison to the body.

Eyes: SQLab EG-05(16mm)
Outfit: YOSD Dollheart Alice memory - Boy Blue Ver.
Wig: Iplehouse JID IHW_S021, colour: Sienna
Shoes: Leekeworld LS-024, size: D (4.5), colour: brown

I hadn't bought anything for her arrival because I wasn't sure what she'd fit in to, so I'm happy that she can wear left over pieces from my other dolls. Extra happy about the shoes because they were bought for a different doll, but they were too big so I thought they would just be sitting around forever.

 

when did you order? i ordered back on march 4th and i am still waiting

 

I ordered around the 26th March, but they lost my order form then when I sent a new one, one person said that they confirmed my payment then another person said that they didn't recieve payment (I used PayPal), so it wasn't until about 3 days later that my order was probably sent off for production once I got an OK about payment from them. They gave me a tracking number on Thursday afternoon (2nd May) but it didn't start working until Friday night and she arrived today (Monday).

*cross fingers you don't have to wait much longer!*

 

Congrats Anistasiya, she is adorable in that outfit :3 The extra height of the KSG-L body does look nice too.

Anistasiya your girl looks cute in that dress and that's good to know that this body fits barbie dress's. I wonder what her feet size is? Can she fit all yo-sd shoes?

 

Yes, she can wear YOSD shoes In the picture I posted before, the boots she is wearing are YOSD sized and she is suprisingly stable in them even though they are heels and she's only got flat feet.

 

Anistaisya thanks also l had a thought l wonder if SQ lab well make different kinds of feet for these body.

 

I didn't see any other feet available for the KSG sized body (there are plenty of hands, though!). Maybe you could email them, and ask? They're super friendly. The bigger SG body seems to have heels in the pictures, but I don't know if they come with the doll or if they're from a different company (the information is a little confusing).

I just ordered doll on KSG-L body and I want to make a dress for her. But anyone here could help me and tell what size are her hips, chest and leg length? ;_;

 

Inner leg to ankle: 13.5cm
Hips: 14cm
Chest: 12cm

Gahh! She's so cute! I want one of the tall girls! But i want to put the regular large head on it for chibi looking girls.

 

My girl arrived and got her faceup last week
Wig and shoes are Luts, outfit is Blue Fairy. The included 16mm eyes seem way big for this sculpt! Even the 14mm she has now seem large. I'm on the lookout for animetic 14mm eyes to try next.

 

Congrats jadepixel, she looks very nice. I like her outfit.

These girls are adorable! I've just ordered a white skin KSG-L Moe. This'll be my first anime-style BJD. I think I'll make mine into a mischievous little boy.

 

Everyone's dolls look great
SQ-Lab really should be more popular, they really do make great dolls and the quality is awesome.
I also find that Blythe clothing fits the KSG-L body (I've only tried tops, I highly doubt that bottoms would fit)
Another great find is that DearMine pet doll clothes fit too (again, only tops/dresses fit. The bottoms just would not do up)

I've started a thread in the Photo Reference forum in the hope of finding a resin match for SQ-Lab Real Skin.
So I thought it may also help to make a post here. Would any of you that own a real skin SQ-Lab doll be able to post pictures of it with some other companies resin? :3

I got her from think pink, she was in stock The SQ Lab Chibis are sooooo cute! And I loooove the 31cm body, its such a nice size ^.^

 

Gosh I just love everyone's little chibis :3 Has anyone put a different head on one of the L bodies? I am considering getting one for my Yosd Nono head but not sure if it will be too mature for her..

 

Gosh, I just discovered these cuties properly. (I thought they were vinyl for the longest time for some reason, I have no idea why.) I'm smitten with chibi Tsubaki! How would I go about buying her? Do I need to wait for a preorder or do I just email SQ-Labs with my order?

Not sure how helpful this is, but I found this on the website. The first one is a YoSD, but she's on the 26cm body. I'm not sure what that sculpt on the L body is?

 

I just e-mailed them with my order a couple of weeks ago and got a confirmation a few days later.

 

Ok thank you very much!! That little Megu is too cute on the short body :3 I do really like the long body and that other head doesn't look too bad on it, it's a bit more mature faced than Nono but I think it could work!

Funny you should bring up how to order and whether you have to wait for a pre-order or not; I've been wondering the same thing >_< but I was too scared to ask hehe.

I never thought I'd want an anime doll before XD
I'm planning on getting a little Tsubaki, except if more chibi faces appear

I have a few questions about ordering directly from SQ Lab... if paying via paypal, the customer has to pay the paypal fees ? They only send via EMS ? (because EMS = custom fee...)

I hope they'll make a more mature tiny body ! (Or a mini one \o/)

 

Another question - do the eyes they sell actually fit in their chibi heads? I want to order these ones but 22mm sounds huge for a tiny.

 

Yes, we have to pay the paypal fee. They told me how much PP fee I have to pay though. My PP fee was about $8 but my order was a little large (all sets of hands and an extra pair of eyes).

And I'm pretty sure it's EMS only. If you spend over $350 shipping is free.

I emailed them before I placed my order, and they said the eyes shown in the chibi Moe head were 16mm. When you place your order, you indicate which you would like as "EE-01 (or whichever number you want) - (16mm)" apparently they can do those eyes in any size, 22mm being the max I think?

Back to flipping between Hibiki and Tsubaki and trying to decide who I want. (Or just jumping the gun and getting Tsubaki as a sleepy head. Gah!)

 

I mailed them about new chibi heads, they're going to update the website soon with chibi iris and ryoko :3

attempted a face up today, should have gotten the company one...this style is harder then it looks.

I have another question, to those who have white skin chibis: is it really pink-ish ? Or not that much ?

 

I would say more peachish. Mine was second-hand though....it does not look the least bit yellow, but I've never seen another SQL doll at all, so I have nothing to compare too.
It's almost a very pale NS than a real WS IMO.

I want to turn a chibi tsubaki into a kokeshi-like bjd ! I've found the wig, most likely a kanzashi... All I need is a pretty kimono \o/

 

I can confirm that the white skin is more of a peach-pale normal skin and not paperwhite. My Nekohime (Moe) is even more normal skin-ish than my DoD Sha xD

 

yah my ren is in white skin and she is more pale-peach, which is why i got the white because it seems more normal then other skins.
