I just ordered yesterday. I will let you guys know. I ordered a full doll.

I am a part of the dollfie dream forum and someone ordered a head and got it after two months. So I think they are sending out dolls but the wait time might be ridiculous.

Edit: Oh yeah. I made sure they accepted my Order Form and got an email twice from them. It took two days (both times) but I wanted to make sure there was a person there before sending the money.

 

My recommendation is to email them, wait till they reply and send them the order sheet. I did it like that back in December and my girl came SUPER fast. She included extra hands and eyes

Wow that faceup is adorable. Looking at her makes me more tempted to buy a head from sq-lab.

 

Thank you for the advice! I want to order Navi, but after reading about their terrible service I started to loose the hope about getting this girl.

 

Would an Sqlab SG fit on a Minifee body or a Volks sdgr body? I know the neck size of a typical body is 7.7cm...so I know it would fit a Minifee body if I modify it a bit, but may be floppy. So, would a Volks sdgr body be best? What other bodies (besides Dollfie Dream) will fit an Sqlab SG?

 

Has anybody ordered a doll from SQLab recently? I tried to contact them, but didn't get a reply Is there another way to order from them, except for contacting them through e-mail?

 

I haven't ordered directly from them in a long time, but I was able to place an order in August from their Yahoo!Japan store through Buyee without any issues. Personally, I'd recommend going through their Y!Japan. If there's something you want from them that's not there, your SS may be able to contact them directly with more success.

Hello there! I know this is a bit far fetched, but would anyone happen to have a Little Monica Sarubia head on the sqlab DG59 body?? I've been looking but I'm not sure if it's the body or not... Any help please?

 

@Ciel98 Little Monica Sarubia head on SQLabs 53 body is the closest thing I can find for a reference.

Ordered 3 weeks ago, said they would ship the week after, but still nothing. When i recontacted them they said "Hi!
Late sorry! Shipping number is 2days after! Thank you!". I recontacted them monday, since they haven't answered, when they were so fast before
Though until i have my doll i will be fine waiting, i just wish they would tell me exactly where it is

 

Can anyone provide a list of bodies that the SQLab SG heads can fit? I'm going crazy trying to figure it out for myself.

 

I recently contacted them about an order, but they haven't emailed back yet. It's a little annoying and I have no idea how to order from their Y!Japan store. I've never ordered through a proxy or anything.. :<

 

I can't find a thread for the DG bodies... Are they discussed in this thread too?

Last night I placed my order for a DG59 body with all of the extra feet/hands, and I know are slow to respond, so I added that I'll pay once they confirm my order... Hope it'll work that way...

I know how to buy through Yahoo Japan, I've used Buyee before, but I don't want to. I want the body with all the available extras, like normal legs and feet and all the different hands. They don't offer those there.

Has anyone tried messaging them through Facebook?

 

@Strify @Evelien I couldn't contact them myself, but I placed an order through Zenmarket. I included some feet and hand parts and processing + shipping took just about 2 months. Communication was great. Hope this helps (:

 

Is Zenmarket like Buyee? I have bought from Yahoo Japan through Buyee before. But only items that were shown as available there... I want things that are on the SQ Lab website, but not in their shop on Yahoo Japan

 

Zenmarket contacted me to say I can only buy the things they have for sale and nothing else, and the SQ Lab agent on Facebook (who says on her profile to pm her when you want to order) replied to my pm saying I should go to the official SQ Lab website and order from them through e-mail.

I decided to go with a different second hand body for now. I'll let you know if they ever reply to my order (but they also never replied to the order I placed 3-4 years ago, so I don't have much hope).

 

May I ask which body you chose instead? They're not answering my messages and I'm looking for alternatives for my Ryoko head (white skin) from them

I was looking for a hybrid body for a DiM head, sorry, not an SQ Lab head. I went with an Ariadoll body instead.

 

You seem to have the only successful buying experience in the last few years that I can find. Doesn't bode well but I'm just obsessed with the DG61 body. Asnt advice on ordering aside from crossing fingers with Zenmarket?

 

That's sad to hear, because it was very easy for me to order and I planned to order another doll through them. Zenmarket did exactly as I asked and they were very kind when I contacted them. The other option besides Zenmarket would be Buyee, but upon searching the link, I couldn't find SQLab anymore. So I guess you're stuck with Zenmarket after all. I can confirm that you can buy doll parts from their yahoo!auction site. Unfortunately they do not provide hand option parts for the SG body so be aware of that.
From my experience it takes them ~ three days to prepare a resin head for shipment so there don't seem to be long waiting times.

When you say, "confirm", do you mean you've ordered and gotten your doll parts?

 

I mean that I've ordered the head successfully and it has already been shipped out to my proxy in Japan. Right now I'm dealing with the proxy so they can send the head to my address in Europe

Yes, that's true. Dealing with this company is quite annoying and I'll be very happy once the head arrives and matches the body from Smartdoll (at least this company replied to my inquiries).
I'll be posting pictures once I receive the head and write a short review so you'll know what to expect when ordering via their yahoo site

 

Is not April Story sort of related to SQlab? I think the bodies was made by the same person or something... I do not exactly remember.
But it could be something to research for those interested in a resin body.

 

April Story and SQ Lab may look similar, but I HATE April Story's posing and I LOVE SQ Lab's posing, so technically they don't have a lot in common... Never again am I buying an April Story body.

Have you looked at Sadol though? They have the *exact* same hands that SQ Lab sells with their DG59 and DG61 bodies and their aesthetic is almost the same as well. I haven't experienced a Sadol body in person yet though...

Yeah, it does seem like they don't produce the SG hands anymore... I've been trying to get one pair in the aftermarket but they don't appear very often and if they do, they are in the wrong skin tone >_>

 

Or DG hands and legs/feet... I wonder why they don't sell those separately, they do still sell the DG61 body.

 

I love how other discussion threads are like, "Look at my doll's new wig! Day at the beach with my doll!" But this one is a shopping support circle. I wish it were easier to get things from them

No. They don't reply to email, their representative on Facebook told me to go through email, and their Japan Yahoo store only sells things I don't want. I have given up.

I actually got a reply when I asked them about the availability of a body a few months ago but I never went through with the purchase. I just sent them another email with my order list. Let's see if they reply this time. I really want the DG59 body but unfortunately it's not listed on YJA. ;A;

 

Oh wow, that's right. They only have the 61cm in. Now I'm a little bummed, it took me looking at that to realize they don't have any of their SG hands listed either. I guess if they reply there's hope I can get those eventually.

 

I ordered my sq lab KSG L body and head from Jause.com Japan services. My girl should be here this week coming up.

 

*sigh * Still waiting to hear anything about the progress of my girl. Does anyone still lurking here know the about turn-around time for these guys? All I had to go on was the time line listed on their old page that showed a week til ship once ordered. Obviously that isn't the case.

@killbill 4Sdolls normal resin match Volks normal, and from SQ Labs website, real normal matches Volks so real normal should match 4Sdolls

 

Thank you！ I got hands from sadol instead, I believed they are the same hands as SQ61 hands, Sadol's have slightly color difference with 4sdolls, but both of them are not quite the same color as volks', maybe SQ lab's may more match for volks’

 

I really like the DG59 and DG61 bodies and want to get them for hybrid dolls. Would anyone happen to know how light the real white skin color is? Is it really similar to the website images? I took a look at their color chart and the real white skin seems the best for what I need (everything else seems too dark), but I am a bit unsure about the resin colors.

 

@Maechen The real white skin is...reeeeeally white. I'm actually regretting a little that I didn't get the regular white skin. I was going for more of a Dollmore normal, and ended up having to color match the head followed by tanning the whole body. But here's an example of just how /white/ the RWS is. (my girl is the 53cm body)

 

@Peneyofdeath Oh, wow! It doesn't look that white in the official images. My girl is pale, but I definitely can't use something that light. Thank you so much for the image and your help! After taking another look at their color chart, I noticed that the real skins are more of a yellow tone while the normal/white are more pink. I think the white skin might be better for me since my girl is on the pinker side of the spectrum.

Edit: I looked around a bit more and read a lot of Korean blogs/reviews. It looks like real skin normal could work. I'll go with that and hope it turns out well.

 

@Maechen this is why I wanted to dig this out to show you. I spent days looking at the different pages to see if I could somehow glean what the colors for the bodies were as they only seemed to show the color for the heads or their vinyl heads. I'd originally ordered the real skin normal, and freaked out thinking it's going to be waaaay too dark for my pale lady and figured that the white version would be closer. :/ diiidn't happen like I thought. But I do love how she came out in the end
