Grats Luciferschoice! I'm glad to hear it because it means all the February orders are about to ship too! Could you do me a super favor and edit your post so my ship date is in italics like it's supposed to be? I messed up back when I posted it and now it's been bugging me that it's not in italics. That way when people cut and paste it will be correct.

Just before I stood up because of work, the doorbell rang and they gave me... the body.
I can't believe it, they used express.
Omg now I'm sitting at work and can't handle this awesomeness!
But I already made a boxopening before I went to work..and...wow.
I'm stunned. I will post it after I finished my work here!

I see deliveries just before and after my post so I hope this means I'm coming up soon. Although it wouldn't surprise me if I have to wait until the end of the month, like last year, especially since I'm getting two bodies instead of just one.

 

My guess is they cast the white dolls first and will cast the the Natural skin next.

Can't wait!!! Hands for my boy have been shipped already. (Jumping on the ceilings) I was a fool that didn't order them earlier together with the boy.

I do have one criticism for the YOSD and that is that he really can't look up at all so all my photos of him are a little awkward. I've since remedied this with swapping his head onto the body of my Volks Isao's body which is more suited to his character. The Volks head on the Spiritdoll body seems to work a little better for looking up and I just need to find a bigger S hook for the Spiritdoll head to keep the Volks body together. The Spiritdoll has a lot less posebility then the Volks...but then again I paid a hell of a lot less for my Spiritdoll

 

Got my hands today. It was the most short waiting i've ever had. So happy. The waiting could be even 3 days shorter ))) but our customs.. well.. you know ))

I want to know about the event that is showing on Spirit Doll's website right now--the summer event where you get a free head? Is that from 2012 or is it for this year? I'm asking here because you guys have obviously ordered dolls last year! I'm just trying to make sure I should not wait until July 10th or should I place an order right now! A quick reply would be appreciated as I am sooooooooo anxious!

Hello everybody! We ordered today Gardinia!!!!! We SOOOO happy!!!!

 

That event was from 2012. The summer event for 2013 just showed up two days ago, and there are free hands and outfits, not free heads. I should know, I just leaped to place an order with them after waffling about it for a few months.

 

So i have tried to add my self on the list sens i ordered my boy last month but it wont let me so i'm just telling you he shipped yesterday and i hope he will get here soon ^^

 

My boy arived to day and he is wonerful ♥

 

Is it too early to start hanging out here ? I'm ordering a Tan Jade boy :3 I have the money, he's in my cart but I'm trying to time him for an October arrival, so I'll be hitting pay on the 20th/25th :3 Spiritdoll mentioned he'd take 5-6 weeks.

 

Lies. I was told at the time that I placed my order that orders take 3-4 weeks, then 7-8 due to face ups when I inquired about it. 10 weeks in I sent another email, and SpiritDoll finally responded after 11 weeks telling me that he should ship within two. So at 14 weeks I might be getting a doll. He is listed as having a "custom" faceup, but it's really just freckles added to a default one.

I wouldn't get your hopes up about the time estimates. Some people above have gotten good shipping and delivery times, others have not.

EDIT: I should add that communication has gotten much better than it used to be, but possibly the anniversary event is slowing everything down.

 

Eeep. Maybe I should toss the order in now then O.O I'm ordering mine blank so that should help, but I am also ordering extra parts and things...

 

That's probably best. As you can see, there are some people still waiting on blank dolls too, so it doesn't necessarily mean you'll get it faster.

 

Yeah. I don't mind as long as he doesn't ship in September. Too many doll anniversaries then o.o Man, I can't wait though!

Man I'm so excited for my boy. I've decided to name him Malaphar. I've already made him jewelry, bought his sword and ordered him some Merlinite and Moonstones. I even have 4 bottles of perfume for him. Fabric shopping is giving me a bit of a hard time though. I'd love to start on his wig but I'll need him to arrive first.

I can honestly say I have never bought or given a thought to perfume for my dolls. That's an interesting facet of their personalities to explore. I can't ever give my dolls names before I get them. The one coming is a blank slate. I bought him because I wanted a beefy doll compared to all my waifish androgynous 60cm boys. Also, dreadlocks on dolls are awesome. I can't pull them off, but I love making yarn wigs for all my dolls. If I wasn't in the middle of a move, I would make things for my incoming beefcake, but I don't have any of my supplies at hand anymore. He's coming at an awkward time.

 

Matching perfumes to them is a lot of fun. I tend to stick to a particular company because they make the most perfect things. My alchemist wears Dee (inspired by the alchemist John Dee) which is a mix of English leather, rosewood and tonka with a hint of incense, parchment and soft woods. One of my favorite perfumes for my vampire is Lord Ruthven which is Aqua Admirabilis with polished boot leather and blood. I've developed a real perfume habit because of them ><

Sometimes my dolls tell me their names right away sometimes I need to have them for a while. All of mine are kind of blank until they arrive and I just figure out things as I go. Malaphar seems to be giving me all of the ideas though. I'm not usually one for a lot of muscle but my dolls seem to slowly getting beefier each time. I'm not sure how this happened o.O I'm also not usually one for dreads but he requires them for some reason.

I found some fabrics for my boy on vacation but my sewing machine is on a 3 week waiting list just to be seen at the moment :/ Crossing my fingers it's fixed in time. I also found him the perfect earrings but I'm not looking forward to piercing his ears o.o Too scary for me but I can hardly glue on this type.

=o what kind of things do you plan on making your boy?

 

Is it safe to say that it looks like its about 1 month wait from payment date?

I couldn't actually find a time frame that it takes for their dolls to be made on the webbie

 

after you complete your order, they state how long the shipping will take. quoted:

The doll (head, body, or whole doll) will be shipped 3~4 weeks after receiving the full payment. All the other items (eyes, clothing,wigs, shoes,etc) can be shipped within 2~4 weeks after receiving the full payment.



The items will be shipped via international EMS. The tracking number can be checked in your order status after login to Spiritdoll website. We will also sent you an email with the tracking number."

What isn't mentioned on the order form or website is that faceups take 7-8 weeks. Mine took 11 for a full doll with a pretty standard faceup. You can get an idea of the waiting times by looking at the order and arrival dates in this forum. Also Spiritdoll is really good right now about answering the guestbook so you can always ask them questions.

And i've read there that i need to validated my account before i can do anything. so i checked my e-mail and an my junk mail, but there wasn't any. so i clicked the resent hash mail button, but it still didn't show up. does anyone has a similar problem? this time in 2014 I got the notification for my first snowdrop and she arrived 3 days before I had to leave. Im going out of town wednesday...

 

See! It's fate. Although that totally sucks if she shows up right when you are leaving. Hopefully it all works out.

 

Im not leaving until Wednesday evening. But it'll take 3 days for her to arrive to me. the only way she would reach me before I leave would be if she'd shipped Thursday or Friday. But she's not. If I get the email that she's shipped while I'm gone I'll just call my post office once she reaches the states and have them hold her there for pickup. My mom wont wake up for a package early in the morning xD But I'll only be gone the weekend so even if she does ship next week I'm sure I'd get back home before she reached my house .

 

Good news :: She shipped!
Bad news :: I'm leaving for canada today and won't be home until monday evening xD

I actually got the email that it shipped today, but the tracking said it was shipped May 23rd, and it got out of customs today~ ^^

Good news bad news. She shipped yesterday and arrived today. My mom just texted me the pink slip!!

 

I have a question, what happens when an order is canceled? I delete it of the list?.
My order of Legendoll never came, and they returned the money. Now I'll have to ask my doll on other page.

 

What happened? Did it get lost in the mail? Did they not order it?

 

Is something going on with spiritdoll? I was promised a shipping date from them and still haven't gotten one yet. I'm a bit concerned.

The order was made and everything was ready, but when they sent the doll it never made it out of China. They tried it twice and no case. Mail between Chile and China does not operate normally as other countries, it is very strange. I really wanted Legendoll work well, this site have many nice things I would love to buy more things, they had some beautiful kimonos!

I really want Laurel, I admit I'm scared, but now I will ask for www.spiritdoll.net.

 

I would directly contact spiritdoll. Although I'm still waiting and I went direct through the company, but at least you will be in direct contact with them.

 

When they sent the tracking number, everything looked very usual. But time passed and nothing happened. At first time I sent an email warning that the package tracking behaved strangely. And they responded within a day, but the more time the package was lost more time they delayed in responding, I had to be constantly sending mails. The last time they mentioned that the package was in Chile and when I checked the Chinese tracking I saw a completely different thing. According to this, the package was already with them again. Shortly after they returned the money.

Yes, I feel that in such cases it is best to deal directly with spiritdoll.

 

@glucosa that is so strange! I'm currently waiting for a package from Legenddoll (a Xagadoll girl) but my spiritdoll order was placed directly with spiritdoll.
