Wow, really? I would love to get an answer. >> What email address did you send your message to? On one hand I don't feel like it's necessary to message them myself, since I really haven't been waiting an unusual amount of time . . . but with all this hubbub about SpiritDoll never answering anyone and things getting home in poor shape, I'd like to make sure they know I'd like to get my doll someday.

 

I got exactly the same answer today except it's 'delay of reply' not 'delay of order'. At last they started to revive communication. I hope they are serious about sending tracking number. Here in my country customs and delivery hardly works the way it should unless you contact them in advance or in progress and it takes tracking number.

It is really reassuring that we have replies coming in.

Kunyue, if you're talking about the list here, the November buyer didn't actually finish paying for the doll until February. It was a layaway. So count from February.

Today I've got an answer of my email too, although it hadn't been neccessary after they marked my dolls as paid, but had been nice though. Seems they started the communication. Great.

 

It's really great that Spritdoll is back! I also got an answer to my email from March 9th (well...one of my emails..), but it only says that they'll send me a tracking number once my order is shipped. Hmm, I still don't know if the Proud body I ordered in layaway and finished paying off March 9th is actually finished or just started being made...

 

I contacted Spiritdoll to see if they had any order cancelations for the White Queen doll that has sold out. A few days later Ying sent me a nice email stating that an order cancelation had been made & I could have the doll if I wanted her Hearing about these delays has me worried....but the doll was too beautiful to pass up! Just made payment #2 on my lay-away!

 

Oh my gosh I just kind of woke up at 2 am here and got a shipping notice + tracking number THIS IS SO EXCITING I AM

I'm a bit confused now.
I got a mail from Ying to confirm my final payment. She also told me, that they shipped my missing feet.
But in the mail before, she said, that she they will ship the missing feet from my previous order with the Hatter and Queen.
I wonder if that means, they shipped only the feet.

I had emailed them also just to make sure that they were aware of my order, and I got the same response about delays in casting and the wait being 3-4 more weeks. Not a huge wait . . . just would have been nice to know, since I've been counting down the days since I paid until I had originally reached 4 weeks. Mllrrrr.

I am so looking forward to getting my boy's new body! I have a few days off coming up, and oh, how I would love to be able to blush him while I don't have to work . . . .

This is my first time seeing owner photos of the Innocent dolls, which is great to finally see... I kind of want a Mimosa because she looks like a tiny version of Lavender, l-lol. Because I am terrible at resisting littlefied versions of my own characters, orz.

My own tracking still won't update beyond "Origin Post is Preparing Shipment"... the most agonizing phrase in international shipping auuugh. This is the most impatient I have been throughout my entire order sobs I just want her home so I can customize and dress her up and generally admire her prettiness and everything :<

They emailed it to me on March 28th, so it was about a week ago o:

She did get shipped out, it just looks like she's either stuck in Beijing awaiting to be sent to NYC, or sitting around in NYC somewhere, or maybe she's on a plane, or maybe customs thinks she's stuffed full of drugs or something?? I've only had one other EMS order from China, and I can't remember how long it took to update from the China -> NYC flight... I just remember it took about two weeks to arrive including it being shipped back to sender before it even left China @n@; I just always hate waiting on this particular tracking update whenever I order internationally ._. I should probably just pass the time by doing something actually productive or playing video games or something instead of compulsively F5ing the internet, but that would probably classify as being a thing known as "logical" and I'm not sure I understand what that concept is.

On the plus side, she should arrive the next day once tracking says she's in the states as long as she doesn't make her arrival at like 9 pm or sometime otherwise late herpderp.

( Of course, I keep obsessively stalking USPS every day regardless just in case tracking decided to not update. Just in case. >n>;; )

 

So, since it is hard to tell what the average wait time is from looking at the order list, I am wondering what to realistically expect?

 

I've been following this for a while and it looks like about 3 months.

 

From what I've seen, during the first few months of the year after their limited releases they have always seemed to slow down a lot... and at any other time, wait times seem to vary quite a bit? I've seen anywhere from just a month to 3, so...

Speaking of doll arrivals... QuQ Tracking finally updated again yesterday, and so she's here today!!! She is so precious, oh gosh. I love her sculpt and her skintone and just HER and I'm still trying to figure out her joints since they're so different from my other doll's but ffffff. Such a cutie. ;u;



Don't mind I just kind of wrapped some trim + a hank of what will be her hair around to make her look a bit more decent, hahaah. Now I must go and be excited some more before I actually start making her real things YEAH

 

Two weeks ago Spirit promised me to ship my Insane 'in two weeks'. It would have been a surprise if she had kept this particular deadline. Next week it will have been 4 month since I placed my order (no layaway).

By the way, I haven't received any answer about my question regarding face-up. Is there any point in trying to contact them anyway? No sure.

I wanted to order three more dolls from Spirit in the near future (Herber, Bloom and Lemongrass), but after all the worries about communication, and the total lack of responsibility and customer care I don't think I will ever order from Spiritdoll again. Too bad, because I love the dolls.

Please keep this waiting list alive and updated and all who have received their dolls, please DO bother to leave a feedback in the Spiritdoll feedback threat. I think all who intend to order should know what to expect.

 

She has more locks in her joints, or maybe just more prominent ones by comparison, it was taking me a bit to figure them out @u@; (this post here has some nice pictures of the jointing & posing!) She also feels like she's strung a little on the loose side, buuut she just got here and I don't feel like putting myself through the frustration of restringing her yet, lol. She is indeed the single piece torso version, and she does have double jointed legs. :>

If Proud bodies are going out, maybe I'll get mine soon?! I just sent out the head for a face-up and it would be nice if they all arrived here around the same time.

 

Waahh this is so exciting, hopefully my Proud body will be shipped soon aswell! I have a question to all Spiritdoll body only buyers: Did your body come with the Spiritdoll doll bag or not? A few years back they sent them with every doll order it seemed. I could use one for sure!

 

When I ordered just the elegance boy body I got the bag too~ :3 So I bet it will come with proud body too. :}

@Zomboid: Yes it came in with an awesome bag! ^^- Since it's my first time ordering a doll (wel... a body) I really don't know what other bags looks like haha... BUT I think this one is really great! You can choose to transport it on your shoulder or in your hands! ^^- Ahh I am so happy It came in xD..

 

Thank you both for your answers! I think it's really cool of Spiritdoll to include a bag with their dolls. I don't know of any other company except Resinsoul that does that! I don't have a doll bag yet so I'm a little hesitant to do photo shoots outside (you know, where you have to go places). With the Spiritdoll bag I can finally go into the local forest!

 

Iplehouse also sends bags with their YIDs, or at least they did with the discontinued sculpts. :3 If SpiritDoll sends me one with my Elegance body, I will have three carrying bags! SCORE.

Kunyue, congratulations!! I think he looks wonderful!! They didn't give you a shipping notice, huh? Well, I guess I'll stop checking my email again and go back to just hoping for a box! XD

 

I'm more inclined to believe that the person isn't American and therefore puts their dates as dd/mm/yyyy, since 9xx orders were mostly placed during December
(If we're talking about the person asking about their two orders.)

 

As for shipping notice, it's another point the importance of which Spiritdoll will never realize and you CAN'T make her/them realize. Imagine what a problem it is in a country like mine, where EMS service is totally unrealiable if you don't track the parcel and contact the center when you see it's arrived to the local customs office.

Still no news about my Insane.

On Tuesday it will have been 4 months since I placed my order (no layaway). Three weeks ago they promised me two weeks. Next week I have to travel abroad. I thought of sending them a message to schedule delivery according to my return home, but there is no point. I am afraid I will be back home for a long time when they even bother to read my message.

 

Yes, that's a huge problem. I've send them an email regarding a new delivery adress and no answer. It's not a problem in my case, if they send to the old adress, as it would be send to a friend of mine. I chosed this adress to avoid the German GDSK, which cost me 25&#8364; more of customs and isn't avoidable with EMS China here. Now I learned that you can send everything with DHL. So I asked them to change the adress and send by DHL. It's only a time thing when they still send my two dolls to my friend in Austria, but imagine if it wouldn't be like that.....

They really need to answer and to send out shipping notes or at least make it like Soom, that they change the status in your order box and you can get your tracking number from there. Even in a country with perfect mail service like Germany or Austria you sometimes need a online tracking. I only had it one time, but well it happened that I didn't get the customs office card, I only got the doll because I could call them and got my parcel with the tracking number. Without online tracking it would have been sent back to Korea within 2 weeks.

 

My order status is still paid haha.... xD
