Spiritdoll Waiting Room #3

yay for EMS, I got my doll body, but that tracking number told me absolutely nothing!

 

Woah, sagejupiter, that's amazing news! So glad you finally have it!

What do you mean the tracking number told you nothing?
Did it never update any status at all? Or what exactly do you mean?

My own tracking number is really weird, it says they sent it to my country since the 24th [even if they sent the tracking numbers the 27th], but there are no other updates after that.

 

It is ok, somehow. When i tracked Resinsoul package from China it was the same: shipped from China on certain date and then no any information for 10 days. and then oops and the box was here (in 11 days). So let's hope for the best.

 

My tracking number updated up to when it got to sorting in Beijing, then nothing else. When I tried to use the USPS tracking it told me it couldn't track the number at all. Very odd, but at least the package shipped around the usual time frame I expect from packages from Asia to US though EMS.

The body is fantastic, and BOY do they know how to bubblewrap!

Well, i expected get my doll today. But everything was silent. I got nervous a little bit ) Then kind people told me everything must be ok. Christmas is soon.
The man who told me that everything will be great had waited for his Spirit doll 28 (!!!) days (and it had taken almost 5 month the doll to be made). I wanted to tell him 'I'm not made of steel, i won't be able to worry so long'. But really, i have no choice, after all, but to relax and take it easy.
So, people, relax and wait on ))) Everything definitely will be fine.

 

How about their customer service atm? I thought they wanted to improve it. I made a somewhat bigger order on Saturday and haven´t heard anything so far, payment still pending. Ok, I am playing this game with them for 3 years now, but I thought it would be better this time

 

Payment took a week to be confirmed with me.

I did sent them an email over a week ago asking how my order is coming along.. but still nothing!

 

Ashemanu, they also took quite a while to change my status to "paid", but they confirmed the next day after making my payment [I sent them a message and they confirmed they received the payment and told me it would take a while for the status to change].

I hope this winter the orders won't take all those months like last time, at least the communication is quite good, I think. Best of luck!

Congratulations to any of you who's already received their dolls Personally, I'm not waiting for any Spiritdoll beauty at the moment (although I wish I did ) but I have to tell you that the company doesn't answer my e-mails too, even though I'm their new potential client. That is, they answered the first one (not entirely) and than nothing. So, yes, they obviously still have communication problem.

 

My boy is lost from monitors ((( No any notices of him 3 weeks past. I know that China is so big. And my boy is so little. But i can't understand how can a post office lost a package of 7 kg.
For now i even have clothes for the boy. I made them myself. Please, honey, come home!!!

 

Recently i ordered Proud boy Acer with make up. It will be my first doll, so i'm a bit afraid. 70 cm is so big! And a package of 7 kg... I hope i will be able to get it home by myself,because i don't have a car. But spiritdoll's body is really amazing! And it seems to be a usual problem with mails. They confirm the payement and sinсe then didn't answer. I'm a bit worry. Hope it will be all right.
P.S. they have а such expensive shipping(

 

Erlif, your boy is still in China? I read somewhere that Chinese customs got alot more strict and often send parcels back to the sender for whatever reasons. Have you contacted Spiritdoll about it?

In my frustration I finally posted on their guestbook yesterday. Got an answer today and my order status changed to paid. Hooray! But I still haven´t gotten a reply to the question that I asked them in my mail ... sigh. That´s Spiritdoll for you

Noooo!! It's so sad to hear that Spiritdoll is having problems with communication again! ;_; seems like they'll always have a not very great service around the winter holidays..? aw that is sad... I was so happy because I thought they had finally fixed everything...

But even worst! Erlif! That really sucks! let's hope he will appear soon! Someone said earlier their doll arrived but the tracking said nothing? Maybe something like that will happen and he's actually about to arrive to you? ;_; agh I just hope you get your doll soon!

Well, the body and parts I am waiting for will cost me around 150€ more if they don´t answer my request for shipping with DHL instead of EMS. So I guess I am entitled to voice my concern, since it is part of the waiting

 

Ashemanu, i didn't want to abuse anybody. I just mean i can't understand people, who know in advance all the '-' of a company, but order goods from the company and then cry 'what an awful company'. I can't understand, why people order from such 'an awful company' then? (really, it concerns dollshe 'fans', and 'spiritdoll 'fans' equally).
sorry, may be i'm just stupid, but shipping issues you must discuss before ordering, but not after.
at the moment i'm really dancing on the ceilings, about shipping issues, too. but my shipping problems were discussed with company in advance. so i think my wait is so long only due to EMS work.
And also, Honeys, please, add yourselves to the list. It is easier to understand for whom you are waiting then.

 

Yep, he is! I fell in love! I haven`t gotten a new doll for the past couple of years cause I was happy with the ones here and nothing spoke to me, but OMG when I saw Celtis I was lost and scrambling all my pennies together! hahaha He called at me and he called hard! This guy has some character! And he is determined to get spoiled! LOL

 

I have been told the communication issues were resolved completely
That someone was sick and thus couldnt answer.

Got a very nice mail from Ying tonight! Everything is confirmed, request answered and fulfilled - I am happy! They really rock if they want to! Patience is the key with Spiritdoll, but their products are so worth it

Got my boy yesterday. It took him a month to come to me.
Firstly i was shocked when i found yesterday morning (it was Sunday - holiday) that my box hadn't been delivered to me the day before because I hadn't been home (though i had been waiting it the whole day!!!). Then i was shocked yesterday as i was invited to the post office, though it was weekend (!!! not a working day at all). My third shock: the box looked awful - somewhere it had got wet (!!!) and rumpled. Then i opened the box (it was at the post office, so no box opening, i'm sorry). I found there whole assembled doll in official bag and blanket. Shock again. I had supposed it to come unassembled. I doubted whether it was my doll? Took me long time to spare the doll's head (with my trembling hands). Yes. It was Acer. Shock again.


When i brought my boy home i was shocked again. I had wanted to make a macho of him. But he is so tender, so cute. Don't know even what to do. Here is my boy with gorgeous eyes W-1 from Spiritdoll (i can't tell you, how beautiful they are. Ordered them without even thinking - it was love at first sight) and their black wig WD106 0W-098:

My order was supposed to be delivered yesterday but I got a bloody high 50 euro customs charge!! I didn't have that on hand.. so she's being re-delivered on monday.

Sadly.. yep It could be worse, I got a 120 charge on my Lishe 2 years ago.
but happy she's close at least!

 

50€ ... I would be weeping with joy if I had to pay only that in Germany ^^ That´s why I want shipping with DHL instead of EMS, if you are lucky it reduces custom fees easily about 150€.

Oh gosh, the customs fees sound seriously awful! I remember when I got my Asher I paid $22 and thought that was much! I asked Spiritdoll to mark my boy down though, I paid an awful amount for DHL shipping as they said EMS would not deliver here though we do have EMS delivery services in the country. Well if the charge gets that high I might not be able to get him from the customs as this was not a planned thing if they hit it with 120 euros or anything ... Youch! Now I am seriously worried ...

And he ain`t shipped yet because of the face up option ... *sigh*

She's a elfdoll vivian on a spiritdoll body, resin match is perfect! But might need some modding in the neck area, its a little to wide for her head to fit on completely.. other then that, perfect.

The DHL man told me...''becasuse it's not a telephone, but you almost pay customs'' The package has been opened, and the bag too. The customs took out the bubble wrapper from his arm, but the body was perfect

Though I must say I am very disappointed in Spiritdoll customer service, I paid full amount for shipping with DHL since they said EMS can`t reach my country and now they have sent it by EMS instead of DHL and telling me I paid $40 dollars less than I should have when I have the paypal receipt for the full amount of what they gave me! That is seriously wrong!

 

Not very many Alice's. I'm pretty sure I'm going to get Alice. Anyone else order her?

 

@morelle- I don't know of any other Alice orders :/.... I think she'd take forever and a half to cast xD. I really want to see her though when people get her!!! her faceup has potential to be super pretty in other artists hands

speaking of customer service I'm still waiting ;-; yes my order was small and simple but c'monnnnnn..... they even approved my money later than everyone else >_>;... I'm only so impatient now because how fast my proud order was and because everyone else's was very fast... from looking up it seems some people are waiting longer for innocent line dolls than for elegance and proud which is preposterous... also it looks like his seamstress beat the clock and his outfit which means his clothes, wig, eyes, shoes, etc will all be here when he is which is good ^_^...

 

Will let you know Iplemons. I only know of one other person getting the 1/2 doll Alice. Blank. SD states on the site that it would take 2 months to get the blank Alice. I'm also getting her blank but haven't ordered her yet. I will get an artist to customize her for me, when I get her.

 

I have finally recovered enough to post an arrival thread! haha Getting him home was a nightmare ... Thank you Spiritdoll for marking him down to $10 so customs would make it impossible to get him out and asking me for the invoice! And yes ... forgetting to include his wig ...

Don't worry! I plan to show you guys some pictures. I haven't seen many Holly's around so I'm looking forward to seeing him, he will also come with the factory face-up and he will be an upgraded version of one of my Msd's. I liked him so much I decided to make him as an SD.

 

I was looking at my records and noticed that I ordered a Spirit Doll body exactly one year ago from the time of my current order. (I was going to say "body order" but, phew!) That was January 31, 2012. And I didn't receive it until April 30.
They appear to be moving more quickly now, so I hope I don't have to wait another two months.

 

Just got my payment confirmed. Hopefully the wait won't be to hard
This will be a body for my Migidoll Yujin head. I've felt bad because he's been a poor floating head for years now.
Looking forward to making him a complete doll at last!
