Spiritdoll Waiting Room #3

I just saw that announcement as well (though the link on the SpiritDoll website isn't actually entered correctly, you have to open it by cutting and pasting!). I'm glad that they've realized they have so many Guestbook/e-mail questions! Here's hoping we'll have updates soon.

For my part, as long as we can keep the waiting list updated, I don't mind some conversation about frustrations on here. I think people consult the waiting room first when thinking about ordering a doll (I know I do!) to see what the wait times are like, and other issues. I'd prefer to have as much information in one place as possible. If the frustrations were in a different thread, some people might never even see them! And this is definitely not the chattiest waiting room I've ever been in...

 

Well, maybe if we tried talking about something else? I'll give it a shot -- first of all, I REALLY appreciate the fact that the waiting list keeps the information about when the dolls were delivered. Another waiting room I'm on, when the doll is delivered, the info is deleted. That makes it harder to accurately judge wait time. . . .I was in on a Spiritdoll Blanc split and she went out in three months (Paid in full when ordered).

And on an entirely different tack -- I have a Firson head on order that I'm planning to style as a girl (possibly on a Dollmore body). I find it interesting that Spiritdoll markets the Elegance heads as boy or girl but is more gender-specific on the Proud heads. Is anyone here waiting on a head they plan to use for the opposite gender?

 

I'm glad to see that announcement on the website! I hope that means they will be able to keep up with communication in the future. ^^

AnitaS, cool! I'm not using my Elegance body for a female sculpt, but I am making a hybrid with my IH Ryushin. I searched and searched for a good fit for his character, and the Elegance body is just perfect. :3 I still have his YID body, but I sort of took it apart and haven't got around to reassembling it yet, so he's just been a head for a few weeks now.

Received my 2nd ver. Proud Male body today! Everything is fine, got the nice carrying bag and spare penii.
I ordered him in Normal skin and it looks to have a bit of a yellow tone to me. The DollClans head is off being faced-up so I can't compare them. Fingers crossed that the resins aren't a mismatch, although it's the body DollClans used themselves.

 

AnitaS and Carmen, thanks! I had way too much fun with that one. It was pretty easy to change Lee's eyes, since there was no elastic or S-hook to get in the way! LOL!

Just got my shipping notice from Ying

 

OMG I also got a shipping notice via email and they even remembered to ship via DHL!! I'm soooo happy right now, finally I can see the Proud body for myself!

I got a confirmation for my payment (finally!) on May 5th, they said they will send me an email again when they ship it (hopefully they don't forget). I also requested an address change, hopefully they apply that as well.

It looks like the Elegance bodies are going to be the last thing they tackle, but with any luck I won't be waiting too much longer, either. ^^;

 

I hope I will get my body today And another one in Germany got her Insane yesterday - so they really are shipping out the non-asian limiteds now! Yeah!

 

Congratulations to all. My Insane will be shipped soon. I asked them about DHL shipping and with the news about it they also wrote me:

'Your order 938 will be shipped next week. ^^ I will send you the tracking number once your order is shipped. ^^'

So it seems they are working on some or the rest of the Insanes at the moment, so there should be some shipping notices soon. They didn't write anything about my Blanc though.... guess she will take a bit more time, although she had been paid off before Insane .

 

Umpf, I should have asked about DHL for myself to; my Blanc is still kept by customs.
I've to wait a letter, then reply with a large amount of papers and eventually have my girl.

EMS shipping is always such a pain!

 

Still in customs, today my mum called me telling that the letter from customs asking a big amount of paper is arrived at home, yay.
Monday I'm going to fax everything and finally (eventually) have her!

I was excited that my body would ship soon when a few people right before me got their bodies, but so far no dice! Fingers crossed for everyone, maybe there'll be a burst of activity like there was a few weeks ago.

Wooow so apparently Spiritdoll sent my body on the 12th and just mailed me my tracking.
No customs or anything for me, getting my body on Monday if everything goes as expected, so looking forward to it.
Thank Pete people are going to be home on Monday, I'd be bummed if I had to wait any more to get it now.

Ying finally answered me about an update to tell me that the shoes I already paid for three months ago are "now" out of stock. >:/ So now my body should be getting shipped out, but I won't have those goddamn shoes. And now I'm just wondering how long my order has been sitting around their shop, waiting for those shoes, when they could have told me possibly weeks ago that I could have it already if I just said I didn't want the shoes. Spiritdoll. Seriously?!

Ok- just got an email from Spiritdoll regarding my Insane... NOW I know WHY he isn't here yet. It wasn't because Spiritdoll didn't ship him out. He had been shipped, but.... they have accidently shipped him by EMS to Austria and not by DHL to Germany. Well that wouldn't be a huge problem, if the Austrian post didn't have a stupid day.... one guy there read the adress label as AUSTRALIA and not as AUSTRIA, so Insane had been shipped to Australia. At least someone at the Australian post could think and read and so they recognized it as Austria and shipped him back to Austria. Spiritdoll apologized and will refund me the extra charge for DHL, but still no tracking number. Hopefully my friend in Austria is home, otherwise he will return back to China. Such a nightmare.... well at least they told me that Blanc will be shipped by DHL to Germany....

 

Insane arrived at my friends place.

To everybody who ordered just a body . . . did they send you a certificate of authenticity? I got the bag, the pillow, the body . . . but no certificate. No paperwork at all, actually. And they marked the value for customs as $10, LOL. Just wondering if this is normal, or if I should attempt to contact Spiritdoll about it. Dx

I think I got a CoE with my girl body, but not the more recent boy body? ... Now I have to go through the box more carefully and see if I somehow missed it!

Thank you. I didn't like the default Face-up, so I didn't order it and face-upped him myself. Hopefully your Insane will be shipped soon. I'm in the same situation with Blanc.

 

My Blanc arrived today. It had been quite a surprise, as I didn't get any notification, but she arrived without any customs.

I didn't get a tracking but what a surprise, I finally recieved my Elegance Body - about time!!

 

Well, that's encouraging. Was there even a tracking number on your order status, or was it unchanged (i.e., just "paid")?

 

I received my Blanc and Insane 2 weeks ago.
Without shipping notice, tracking number or status update of course... as usual...

 

I got an email from their Customer service saying they would ship it soon (didn't know when soon was... lol) and there was no email after that. Then out of nowhere I get my package about 2 weeks later. I didn't bother checking the website.

 

I made my full payment on 22 jun for elegance body. But received no confirmation and the order status is still pending. Is that normal?

 

Unfortunately, yes, when they go through one of these nonresponsive periods. My order stayed "pending" for a full month. I have not received my order yet (ordered April 5 and no faceup involved) and have had no responses to emails or a board query either. Tho I'm sure I will get it eventually. But updating the web site and order status or responding to emails? Not Spiritdoll's strong point.

I finally got my replacement pieces, with no notification of course, they just showed up while I was on vacation. >.>;
