I asked them if the outfit would be available, but theyre on holiday till the 12th

 

I like the proportions of the boy body. It is lean and still has the leg length.

Just wondering if can put a request for a picture of both boy and girl together

 

I like the boy body too. I know its slight, but I think the extra slimness and shoulder width makes the head look not so small.

It really would be cool if theyd photograph them together, and with other size dolls too

Oh yeah, I see, there's three new boys. Campsis is the boy Fragrans. I really do like Michelia, but I think Brume is still my favorite, Im a sucker for sleeping dolls.

 

so Tangerine and gardenia because my new grail recently. I know they are the same sculpt. I plan to make them fraternal twins......someday when I have enough saved up.

 

Nymphaea has always been on my wishlist, ever since she was released. I am planning to get her in the near future and turn her into my mini-me. Also, I'm curious how they look next to SD dolls...

 

I am currently pining over Fragrans (though Nymphaea is definitely a close second!). Some day, some day...

I thought I had Brume all budgeted out right, but I didnt know Spritdoll charged paypal fees on top of everything, so thats like yet another hundred I gotta add to the fund

Oh my --- thank you for that! O.O The size difference is quite staggering - the second doll actually looks like an MSD to me, though I'm not sure? (I'm not familiar with the sculpt.)
But this makes me want to get a Nymphaea even more now... or even a Michelia. They are the same sculpt, anyway.

And good luck on getting the Brume! I'll be looking forward to the pictures.

 

Oh i think you're right! I don't know much about Volks so every sculpt of theirs looks like a 4 sisters to me

But there's this photo on Flickr which is definitely an SD, so that corrected the scale in my mind: _DSC0695

I just ordered a Nymphaea! I'm so excited to finally get her.

 

She is! I also ordered an Elegance Hibiscus, so definitely a large purchase. I couldn't be happier though.

 

Definitely! I had originally decided on Nymphaea, Hibiscus, and Olea. Then I dropped Olea because I ended up not feeling the love. That would have been a HUGE box though.

 

No, I got both blank, I will do their faceups myself. Now I need to figure out clothing for Nymphaea. I sew most of the clothes for my girls, so I will make some stuff for her as well. How about shoes? I read that some size 2 shoes work?

 

Ok that's what I thought. Walmart has some adorable new shoes in size 2, very affordable too.

 

Has anyone tried the 105mm/46mm or 115mm/50mm shoes from Monique on these girls?

Someone finally posted some owner photos of Brume on instagram and now I am trying to be more serious about saving for him. He is so awesome >_<

 

Not yet, I'm just about a month into my wait. I will definitely post pics when she arrives. She's already the most anticipated and spoiled member of my crew. She already has 8 pairs of shoes and 3 wigs waiting for her

 

I'm still waiting for my Nymphaea, but in the meantime I picked up Fragrans on the MP. Her wig was just washed, so it's drying, but here she is.

Alice got a new dress on Saturday. It's apparently made for IH EID, and doesn't quite fit her larger arms, but the length and chest is perfect. And it was free!

 

I got a shipping notice from Spiritdoll this morning. My Nymphaea (and Hibiscus) is on her way!

 

My Sookie arrived! She's so pretty, I can't wait to get her face done.

 

I'm so excited! I got these pretty stands custom made for my big girls. Pardon the nudity and the mess, they're all WIPs.

Does anyone know how long it takes SpiritDoll to answer in the Q&A?
Im planning on getting Brume so I can get a Campsis head with the winter event, but im waiting for them to answer a couple questions first

Congrats to Brume/Campsis! Will they be sharing the body? I also have a 3rd head, but she doesn't have a body yet. I may get her one if I'm not able to sell her anytime soon.

 

Yes theyll be sharing! I know their sculpts are rather different, but Im hoping I can paint them like twins. Maybe someday I can get another body for him...

@Cydril I have an Alice 2nd version limited head with company faceup.

 

What size eyes are y'all using for these dolls? The website says 16-18mm. I would've thought theyd use much bigger ones

 

I believe my girls both have 16mm oscar eyes,.

 

Last question I swear Has anyone ever tried baby clothes on these dolls? I saw some people in the Lusion thread had success with 0-6 months stuff, but I think spirits are a little slimmer?

 

Nancy, do you happen to have a photo of a Lusion head on the Spiritdoll body? I wonder if it would work.

Question, will Blythe wigs go on them? I notice some of them are listed as being 29cm but I have no idea if they work the same, etc.
