Has anyone received their P.Lavender Blue free choice dolls yet?

I'm getting super antsy for my order knowing that the 14 weeks they told me is almost up. I know they're busy but I'm really excited, haha! If it's 14 weeks on the dot, mine are scheduled for 26th Dec. Hoping to see them soon

 

I don't think it is likely to get them on time. I ordered a blank doll in normal skin in July and was told it would take 12 weeks. I haven't heard anything. I posted on their Q&A page on 11/30 but they havent replied yet, which seems unusual for them. Must be super busy.

 

^^ Hmm. I think even if they're very busy, a quick update to let people know the status of their order isn't an unreasonable expectation on the part of the customer. I hope they get back to you soon!

 

Oh man, that is definitely behind >< They seem to have released a lot of stuff since July, too. I hope you can get yours soon and they aren't too backed up.

It's strange of them to not reply for so long, usually they are really fast with QA in my experience. I guess I'll have to wait a little longer to get my two little dollies

 

Yeah, I’m going on approximately 6 months wait time for my Joelle I wish they would stop giving empty promises. Twice now I’ve asked about my order and they’ve said “oh mid November!” Nothing, then “oh mid December!” And we’re here right now and I haven’t heard anything yet. I’m sure it’ll happen eventually, but I have a bad taste in my mouth. Just be honest if you’re having production delays.

 

Looks like Souldoll just released a notice of suspending makeup and head/body sales since they're so behind. Hope this means they can start getting back on track and sending out their late orders!!

 

I saw that message on Instagram this morning. This is the second time in the past couple years they've had to suspend elements of production to catch up. It's a little nerve-wracking as a customer, because it seems like they either don't have enough staff, or don't have strong management (or maybe a bit of both). SoulDoll makes some of the most beautiful dolls on the market, and I'd love to order more from them, but I'll need to see that they're meeting their own timelines for production, first.

 

I ended up emailing them and they got back to me. Expect to send the doll end of Dec or beginning of Jan for my July order. Happy to have a response at least!

 

From how I understood it, it sounds like their main faceup artist is unwell as well. In any case, I think it's a very responsible move, I'm always surprised at how companies of essentially just a few people manage to make so many dolls every year without breaks to catch up.

 

Ok I caved and bought a head in white from them I just had to.

They discontinued company face-ups rn unfortunately but after some research I did find this body. NEW 51 ATH BODY ONLY

 

I'm officially joining the waiting room because I've just started a layaway on Liam It's been a long time coming (I've been planning to order him since March of 2022) and it feels quite surreal! I know the wait times are pretty unpredictable at the moment but I jumped at the chance to get him because there's really no knowing how long it will be before the Vito line is available again. They did say they will be starting production on him right away since sales of the body are ending on the 22nd, so that should help with my wait, at least!

Edit: Whoops, it was actually May 2022. My brain got the months mixed up lollll.

 

yes I am aware they put a pause on the face ups which is why I didn't want to order him rn because I do want the faceup.
and thanks for sharing the body! I didn't even think of checking Satoriaj bodies for some reason lol, I think I'm gonna wait for them to release the new Vito body they are working on but if I dont like it that's def the plan B
I'm really just not a fan of all the veins they have on the current Vito Body's chest so im excited to see the new one

 

I agree, I never loved that detail either. But my dolls tend to wear a lot of clothes, so to me it's okay since I'll probably never see it, haha. But there are several other things I would change about the body so I'm also excited to see the new one. I hope it's even more impressive in terms of posing!

 

Update for me; my guy shipped and is in the US already! So woohoo! It would be amazing if he ended up home for Christmas.

@puppymush : Congrats on ordering Liam! He's such a handsome sculpt!!! I think you made a wise decision on ordering him. When Souldoll suspended sales of Tera Zenith I had inquired if the line would be brought back...they said they would renew it because they were designing a new body for the TZ line... but that's been well over a year (might be going on 2 yrs.) And they haven't renewed them so far. Not to say they won't eventually... but who knows what will take priority you know? I think the Vito line will get a faster update since I think their smaller sized dolls seem to be their more consistent sellers. But I also wouldn't put it passed Souldoll to discontinue existing sculpts in the process...they've been know to do that as well when a line gets updated.

I am also re-joining the wait!!! My Aspyn is still being worked on, but I ordered Nolan and a Kai head. Nolan was too handsome to pass up

 

@Dybbuk Thanks so much! That's good to know about their Tera Zenith line...I'm even more glad I went ahead with ordering Liam now! I just had a feeling that the wait might be indefinite and I wasn't prepared to go a long time without my boy, lol! I know they also discontinued Vito at one point too, and it was a little while before they brought them back, so I just didn't want to risk it. He will be the shell for an extremely precious character, and I can't ever see any other sculpt as him

Hi everyone! Just wanted to update you all that my Joelle arrived yesterday unfortunately I’m a technological grandma and don’t know how to share pictures here, but he can be found on my Instagram for anyone who is curious!

A few things I thought those waiting for an order might want to know:

- SoulDoll sent me a gift wig along with him, which was nice and unexpected!
- They shipped the day I mentioned and @ them on Instagram that I was hoping he’d be home for Christmas (this could’ve been a coincidence though lol!)
- The tracking number they sent me for the order was the USA one, so they didn’t send me his original tracking starting from SK. I’m not sure if this was an accident or not…? But from the time of them first giving me the USA tracking number to arrival, it was 15 days (however both Christmas and New Years occurred during that time).
- Even though their primary faceup artist seems to not be doing well, his faceup is still gorgeous and matches the company photos almost perfectly. Couldn’t be happier!
- They didn’t skimp on anything, despite production clearly being a bit behind. He has a few minor seam lines, but I know some companies don’t sand them and leave that up to the buyer. I think he’s perfect.

Hope that helps someone else who is waiting! Here’s to hoping you all get your babies soon.

 

Congrats @InkNLionsTeeth ! It's reassuring to know Souldolls arrive well despite them having so many orders currently Most Korean companies don't sand the seams by default so it's normal to have them also despite the busyness.

@InkNLionsTeeth Congratulations on your boy, it's so exciting he finally came home! Thanks for sharing about this, it helps put my mind at ease about my boy who's on order. Souldoll has done right by me so far, but I admit the long wait times and changes in the company gave me a little anxiety lol. It's so nice to hear your boy made it safe and sound, and with a gift!

@puppymush I’m glad it brings you some comfort! The gift wig they sent is also really soft and super nice, I was surprised. Most synthetic fiber doesn’t feel this good.

That's so awesome to read! If I'm remembering right, you had about a 6 or 7 month wait? I've just passed the 3 month mark, so hopefully my Millie will be coming sometime in the early spring.

 

Hold up; my brain has been wrong this whole darned time. I get confused between the months of June and July a lot >_< He was ordered 7/9/23, and I received him on 1/2/24. So, a week away from being 6 months total from order to arrival. (Unless I’m failing at counting oop)

 

Has anyone received their doll from the purple fantasy skin ordering period in July 2023?

 

I'm waiting for 2 dolls from this order still. I finished all my payments on the 19th of September, and Souldoll told me at the time it'd be 14 weeks (but it'd past that time now).

It seems they're delayed as they mentioned in their recent announcement. I tried asking them on their QA board if they could give me another estimate for reference but they read my message and haven't replied at all for a few weeks now. I might send them another message.

 

I ordered Linzy in lavender skin on August 8th, paid for her in full right away, and still waiting.

ETA: the order is for a blank nude doll, with heel feet added.

 

I ordered two dolls on August 6th, paid in full, and no word yet either. Given the circumstances, I’ll wait another month or so before asking them about a status update.

 

I ordered a Eun Woo Soulkid on July 18, 2023. I asked for an update before Christmas and they said hopefully she will ship in early January. We're in early January. *fingers crossed*

This is the first doll I've ordered in a long time. I'm trying very hard to be patient.

 

Finished my layaway for Millie last week of August, thought they forgot my order but it’s nice to know I’m not the only one waiting so long...

 

So far, I've only seen 1 blank Millie out in the wild, on ebay. I don't think any with faceups/outfits have shipped yet.

 

Paid off the Layaway for my Millie in July, but haven't heard anything since then.

 

I have been waiting for my winter moon Bella with faceup since July. I ordered her from Denver Doll emporium so she won't be ready any time soon. I keep checking my email though.

 

I messaged them again yesterday after weeks of no response and they replied today and said they estimate my order should be ready at the end of Feb (for reference I ordered 2 blank kid dolls in p.lavender blue, layaway finished on Sept 19th 2023).

It seems the delay is somewhere around 2~3 months. Hope everyone can get their dolls soon.

Mine was blank, so I was extra confused on the time. Been wondering where they all were- makes sense now with the delay.

Souldoll replied on the board finally and said they’ll ship Friday, so will see if it happens.

I ordered my fullset Millie in September (they let me order after the deadline!). I just sent them a message to ask if they had an idea as to where my order is in the queue - I know it'll be a wait, but I'd like to have some idea of how much of a wait is left, y'know? Hopefully they get back to me soon.

 

No update on my order they said they would ship Friday!
Not that I’m bothered by that, don’t mind the wait.
At this point I’d just love that they started communicating with customers that the wait time is extended because they’re behind on orders.

 

Please share their answer! I've ordered a Millie Fullset in July and haven't heard anything either I probably should contact them as well at some point.

 

Has anyone received their Millie from the original release in April?

 

I recieved both my millies back last year i believe in october or november. Both were NS, one was blank and the other faceup. (The blank one someone mentioned that they saw on ebay was mine) However i do remember whilst waiting, Souldoll were slightly slow on replying in the Q&A board

 

Good to know! I ordered in April and finished the layaway in July, so hopefully it's not too much longer. I did get the fantasy color, too, so I wonder if maybe all the special skins take longer.

Well Soul Doll got back to me that they're expected to ship my Millie on Friday, and that I can go ahead and pay my shipping. Hoping she does ship, I'll update if she does.

Okay, so Souldoll didn’t lie when they said they’d ship my Millie Friday. Got a surprise delivery!
They also included the other set of hands and heel feet as gifts, which I forgot to order, so I’m happy about that.

I asked Souldoll for an estimate, and they told me they'd ship my order by the end of next week. I told them that I don't mind waiting longer, so if they don't ship by then, that's perfectly fine (I mean, I told them I'd wait), I just appreciate that they're communicating. Which is what I wanted to share here - that they're replying to messages, even if it takes a little while. They did say the delays are due to large amount of orders. Which is nice, I'm glad their dolls are doing well!

 

My Millie arrived today! She came with extra hands and bust which I did not order she is very beautiful

 

does anyone know an estimate for the angel ver. persephone? I just finished paying her off and I know she's prob not gonna be here until spring but just curious if anyone knows when she's supposed to ship out before I got asking souldoll lol

 

They begin making your doll after they receive the final payment so it might be around early summertime

 

Really great to hear people getting their dolls now and that their updated shipping estimates seem to be accurate. I've accumulated a whole bunch of goodies like clothes and wigs and eyes for my kiddos so I'm so ultra keen to see them. Looking forward to my end of Feb/March, would be keen to see photos if anyone gets their PLavender Blue orders in too.
