Souldoll Waiting Room V10

I am waiting on my Souldoll Federer elf head. He will replace a practice head I've been using for years, so glad I was able to get him before he was discontinued.

A hint on how to use the Wiki wait list if you haven't used it before. If you have just ignore the rest of this post.

Click on [EDIT] next to the month you purchased the doll. Copy someone else's line of text, paste it in the appropriate place and edit the name and doll etc, then save it at the bottom of the page. For the shipping and delivered part, the color code info is at the top of the Wiki wait list page. Just copy it, paste it next to your post and add the correct date and save at the bottom of the page. I hope this helps.

 

I was lucky enough to find a split partner so I will be getting twin Sleeping Moa heads

 

My Ha Do-Yoon got finally shipped a few days ago and oh my god I can’t wait for him to finally arrive!!! It’s been 6 months!

 

I'm already getting so antsy for my girl, lol, but it's only been a couple months. I ordered her on July 28th, so I know I still have a bit of a wait ahead of me. Maybe she'll get here around Christmas, or my birthday in February?

I haven't seen too many owner photos of the vampire kuu. I guess she wasn't too popular of a sculpt, maybe? I'm just glad I was able to get her before she was discontinued.

 

Woohoo! Just got shipping notice for my Zenith Vasilla head. I only ordered her on the 7th or 8th of August. Her body is still being made. I decided to order them separately when funds were available rather than do a layaway for the whole doll at once. My finances aren't consistent enough to do that.

It's the same with Vasilla. I was hoping to see what she looked like with different face-ups etc, but no luck there. I guess it means our dolls will be extra special!

 

Lol, I suppose that's true. She's been on my dolly wishlist pretty much since I entered the hobby, she's just so lovely.

 

My kid heads (Flett, Jiu, and Seung-A) are fully paid now. Commence the waiting... I see that SoulDoll is pretty fast in sending out the head orders, I just wonder how long mine will take since it was through a dealer

 

Which dealer did you buy them through? I purchased my doll via Alice's Collection, and was told that, when the time came, the doll would ship straight from Soul Doll to me, instead of being shipped first to the dealer, then to me. If that's the same case for you, then there shouldn't be any extra waiting because of a dealer.

 

I just woke up to a shipping notice for my D. Agnes + Armor set. I'm so excited!

She came in today and is absolutely lovely.I can't wait to paint her and her armor.

@Kayka Oh, she's beautiful! I love the nose on the Agnes sculpt and she looks incredible in the grey skin ^^

I'm happy to see people are getting their dolls in! Makes me hopeful that mine isn't too far away!

 

I still have another payment on mine so I wait and watch. Congrats!

 

She's so lovely! Now I'm even more anxious for my girl, lol.

 

Hopefully everyone's dolls will be delivered soon! My order was shipped 16 weeks after payment for a fullset without faceup or blushing/painting, which wasn't too far off the mark of the projected 14 weeks. (Not bad, in my opinion).

And this is totally anecdotal, but I noticed when I was updating the waitlist wiki with my ship/delivery dates that Soul Doll tends to ship on Fridays.

 

Interesting observation @Kayka seems to hold true.

 

Thank you for the tip, that’s not something I noticed but its pretty consistently so! I checked in with them for an update of my order (SeoJeong-U w/f) and they said they’re aiming to have him sent out the end of this month!

 

That's a good thing to note! I'd estimate I'm about halfway through my wait; I ordered a full doll and heel feet, but no faceup or blushing, and no clothes or other extras.

The friday trend holds true! I got the email notifiction that Seo Jeong-U shipped! He’ll be my first SD; I have to prepare some room for him, my place is a mess

 

Yeah my soul zenith girl body for Vasilla was shipped today. Guessing that Friday is their weekly postal day.

 

That's awesome. I'm hoping my girl comes soon. Has anyone tried a monique wig on a soul kid head? Do they generally fit all right? I'm planning on ordering my girl her wig soon, so that maybe it'll be here when she arrives.

 

Finished my layaway for my Kuu heads today (yay!) and while I was on the site I saw a notice that Sandy brown and Grey skin will be available from 1 Nov to Dec 31. If anyone was waiting for those options

 

Happy (belated) Halloween! Seo Jeong-U was delivered on Tuesday; I missed the delivery so I went to pick him up today! He's my first SD and I'm super excited !
I got him with his outfit, eyes, and face-up, haven't put on the accessories included with him. The wig is from TTYA (- trimmed to be less poofy). He should have a new wig coming in sometime soon hopefully!

Aaaaa!!! I was just about to buy a Jacop, but I waited a day too long, and got cut off by the brown and gray skin event. BUT, I was able to order through Alice's Collections, and they just confirmed that Souldoll took the order! Now the waiting begins...

 

That's so strange, I still managed to order a NS Jeong-U through Souldoll's site, but I had to google to find the original listing for him to do so. Now I'm worried about my order when I already sent the deposit

EDIT: I just checked, and my order has finally been updated saying they have the first payment! Crisis averted

 

That's so weird! Now I wonder if I could've just done that rather than go through a dealer. They did let me know that normal skin would be available again after Dec 31st, but it looks like we just got in under the wire. Congrats!!!

So a box from Souldoll just arrived today without any warning whatsoever and I'm presuming it's my Crispin! The mailman came to the door and I was like...I don't remember ordering anything in a box that big hahaha. I am very excited to do my unboxing later and see how she looks ^^

Aerin, Federer-elf is already in the country with a delivery date of Tuesday. That was so fast I'm not ready yet. Now I have to remember which body is his since I've been playing around with two bodies and my floating heads. I suppose if I get his clothes out that will be a big clue. Excited doesn't even come close to how I feel about getting him.

 

My Vampire Kuu will also hopefully get to me by Tuesday! Which is great on the one hand, since I won't have to wait to have her anymore, but my state is kinda on fire, so idk how long it's going to before I can give her a face up

 

My Federer elf arrived today. Everything is ready for him but the weather won't let me start on his face. Isn't he is gorgeous!!

I checked in with them for my order status and they said “We are expecting that we can send the order about the end of this month due to a huge orders by the notification of discontinued dolls.” Placed the order for my Mewo in mid August.

Hey everyone, I'm entering this thread because I just ordered a Seo Jeong-U. Maybe I'm naive, but I didn't see white skin available in Souldoll's drop down menu, nor anywhere on their site. I wasn't really a fan of the grey or brown skin for him, so I ordered him with white skin from Dolk station. Hopefully it's okay I still reside here even though I ordered from a vendor.

Hi, and grats on your order! I also ordered a Jeong-U this month, he's so lovely! I ordered mine in normal skin though, so I'd love to see pictures of him in white once you get him!

 

@NoxiousNova You weren't naive at all. It's part of Souldoll's new strategy of only offering two colours at a time. They're trying to streamline their production process.

 

@eland That's good to know, thanks! I was afraid I wasn't understanding something. This is my first time ordering a SoulDoll, and my first realistic looking BJD, So I'm rather excited!. =)

@manatiel I will absolutely post pictures! I only saw a couple owner's pictures of him so far so I'm really interested to see how his skin looks compared to my other white BJDs from Luts and Soom.

Ahhhh I just did it...I ordered my boy Joelle D I was going to wait on getting him, but then I saw the super cute DuoDuo winter event on Alice's Collections...and I went for it! I got him with a faceup because I'm not sure if I'd be able to do his smirky face as well as theirs with my amateur skills, so maybe I'll have to wait a bit till I tackle that. I hope it doesn't make the wait time too much longer, tho!

I plan to! I'm very much a novice at the moment, but how to get better if I don't paint my own dolls? The weather is too humid right now, but as soon as it clears up I'll start I absolutely adore the sculpts so I hope I can make something I'm satisfied with.

 

Ordered my first SoulDoll on August 3rd 2018 through BJDivas! I got the Juno sculpt with faceup, didn’t get the fullset though because they were sold out at the time. Still super excited for my girl, hopefully she will ship out early next year!

 

Souldoll gave me a notice for my heads I ordered in August!
