I'm sure it'll be find and not to worry, I'd suggest maybe keeping screenshots of order receipts and like your bank transfers just in case anything comes up tho! otherwise you're best to send a quick email to souldoll

 

@Terra-hime I decided to make a new account on the new site today, and I posted on the Q&A board about wether it's possible to transfer points and/or order information. I will report the answer here when I get one.

But I personally wouldn't be overly concerned, Souldoll has always been reliable.

Nonetheless, I also took a screenshot of my order page to make sure I have all information at hand in case anything gets lost. It's better to be over-prepared , probably

Obviously the order bit is specific to me. I ordered at the beginning of January and it's a full doll with faceup so I'd be very impressed if it should be finished that quickly. Not sure I believe.
Anyway, everything is fine.

 

I ordered a Millie in the Light P. Violet skin tone on a 6 month layaway today! She's going to be my first doll in a fantasy skin color and my first Soul Doll so I'm pretty excited!

 

My Yeon Soo has shipped! I was messaged on Wednesday, telling me to pay shipping and that they would ship today (Friday).
I did and they did. I was surprised (but happy) that they applied the winter event discount to shipping as well.

Ordered me a WooJin early last month (actually bought him and another doll from Xagadoll through ACBJD xD;; been a long time since I’ve bought 2 dolls at once). The plan is to make him into Arataka Reigen from Mob Psycho 100. Been wanting to make a Reigen doll for a while and finally found a sculpt I’m both happy with and gives me the right vibes for the character. x) Happy that the wait will be a while though, honestly bahaha. Already got a laundry list of doll things I gotta work on this year with my current crew. Least it’ll keep me preoccupied. xD;

 

Hey folks! I'm considering buying a new Souldoll Kids body thru Alice's Collection and wanted to know, what's their typical production time for a doll body? I've noticed one person mention about 3 months, would others say that's typical for them too?

 

@sluggoislit I asked Alice’s Collections about that when I placed my order with Souldoll via them. They said they’re generally taking about 4-5 months.

I ended up paying off my layaway just before the old site closed, as I didn’t trust myself to be organised enough to keep track of everything.

I’m guessing his production is gonna be another month or so yet, but I keep worrying I’m gonna miss their shipping invoice in my emails.

Ordered Caleb in the fantasy resin, no faceup/full set, on January 31. Notified for shipping payment June 6, paid June 7 and he has now shipped June 9 soon the new boy will be home.

Probably not fast. I've been waiting on a Young Won msd head since Aug 2022 thru BJDivas. Not really sure why it's taking so long, been watching everyone else get full dolls they ordered long after me. Hopefully you have better luck :P

I would seriously advise everyone to order directly from Souldoll if you can do it.

 

This is why I don't do dealer pre-orders anymore. Last time I ordered through BJDivas, it took almost a year. And the last pre-order I did through DDE took over a year.

So, I definitely second that people order direct from any company if you can.

 

@QuietYurei @ViperOrchid ok good to know for the future! I think I ended up going with Bjdivas because shipping was cheaper but I guess with how long it takes its not worth it... I wasn't sure if souldoll offers layaways as well? does it just seem to be a company thing for souldoll with dealers? or is this a general thing for bjdivas to take a long time to ship. I usually use Alice's collection so I'm not sure

 

@strawberry_parade Soul Doll actually offers up to 6 months of layaway. It's definitely a general thing with BJDivas to take a long time to ship, unfortunately.

I have a SoulDoll Joelle on order I can’t wait to see him! He’ll be my first doll from them. I couldn’t resist his smirky face.

No idea what the wait times are like. I ordered him direct from SD, so I guess I’ll see!

 

I just ordered Millie, with the summer sale and shipping discount it was a great price! I can't wait to get her but Souldoll says it could be more than 12 week due to the summer event. Still I'm so happy I was able to order her

 

@Nikkirose : Did you get the fullset Millie with the white dress or basic Millie? Either way she is a cutie!

@InkNLionsTeeth : Since you ordered him direct from SD, you should only be waiting 3 to 5 for production (depending on if you ordered the faceup too). Sometimes when they get lots of summer orders its definitely on the 4 to 5 month range for blank dolls. Although I feel like Souldoll is very consistent with production times. Can't wait to see your smirky Joelle!

I put a Souldoll Vito Aspyn on layaway today! Just love the color and her face sculpt. They summer discounts and layaway option made her impossible to pass up!

 

@Dybbuk: I got the basic option, so she'll be blank with "normal" skin.

 

I just put Zenith Bella Winter moon version on layaway through Denver Doll Emporium. I fell in love the moment I saw her. She is such a gorgeous sculpt.

I ordered her in normal resin but am now wishing I had ordered her in white.

 

Maybe it's not too late to change your order. Divas probably hasn't had time to submit your order to Souldoll yet if it hasn't been that long. And even if they did, Souldoll probably hasn't started working on it yet.

 

I’m on month 4 post full payment on my fantasy Caleb order and have a good feeling about this week. Souldoll told me a while back they are hoping to ship this month, and that they had been having production delays on larger dolls I think they said.

I have everything crossed for a shipping email that doesn’t make my wallet weep this week.

 

@Terra-hime : OOOH ! I hope you get a shipping notice soon. I've been dying to see some of the fantasy Caleb's! Did you get him in the minty colored resin? I hope the shipping isn't too bad either. I got a quote for my Vito girl just now from Souldoll and her full fare would $102.52 assembled.... but she's considerable smaller/lighter than a large Zenith boy. Perhaps he might be around $150 or so?

 

He’s in normal skin, and without the fantasy parts, as I only wanted the Elf head out of the set. During the winter event they also offered a free head, too. I remember there being a drop down menu with heads on, but I have no idea if that actually came to fruition.


I think $150 or about that on the shipping myself, but likely more. I don’t mind as long as he comes home soon. It’s been 6 months without his old shell now, and I’m getting itchy to have him back home again.

@Iaquaza: That's a great idea thanks. I have thought about it and though the white resin is pretty I think I will just stick with normal resin, as I also love the normal colour.

I am eventually planning on ordering Swinte one day so I will just get her in white resin.

 

I paid off the layaway for my Millie early! Now the real wait begins.

8 months since order.
Coming up to 5 months since I fully paid.

So three dates that I have been told by Souldoll have now come and gone, with no doll actually being completed it seems.

I don’t normally have issues with waiting, it’s mostly just the fact I can’t go back and check the order, because of the website change over. And the fact they give me dates that fall through every time.

I have had long waits before, but never deadlines that come and go multiple time without any explanation outside of ‘heat wave delays’. Which of course I understand, and things like resin shortages are causing problems too. But for a blank, basic doll this seems to be turning into a bit of a weird experience.

Is anyone else experiencing weirdly long wait times with promised dates that always fall through?
It’s starting to feel like dollshe, I’m not gonna lie….

 

last week I finally got news that bjdiva shipped out my Winter Berry A. However the USPS tracking is still showing that only the shipping label was created and they haven't received the package yet....

Idk if this is a USPS problem or the dealer still hasn't actually shipped... either way I do not think I will be using BJDivas again.. I've been very unimpressed

I have also had similar circumstances with Souldoll. I placed an order on December 30th with Souldoll's old site.

I made an inquiry in March, then again in June, and once more last week. The first message I sent in March, Souldoll reassured me that my doll would take around 14 weeks to complete.
The next time I emailed them in June, they then replied saying that the doll would ship July 25th. The last time I contacted them they told me that my doll would then ship around September 1st.

I have had insane wait times, where I even forgot I ordered an doll and it magically showed up on my front door step lol. I don't mind waiting, but the unnecessary dates are little concerning, but you definitely aren't alone. I wouldn't keep asking Souldoll for updates, if they would stop giving me dates that they can't keep.

 

Thank you for your response, I feel reassured to know this isn’t too abnormal.

My order was made in December too. Previously I’ve had phenomenally fast production from Souldoll so I think that’s another reason this feels a bit jarring.

I guess I will just sit tight now and wait for the shipping fee request email.

@Terra-hime - Ugh that is a horrendous wait. I've experienced something similar (although probably not quite as long) when I ordered my Souldoll Baby Pink doll via layaway. I paid her using a 6 month layaway, and then had to wait an additional 3 months for her after she was fully paid. When I inquired with Souldoll, they said they don't start layaway orders until after they're fully paid... which explained the additional waiting but still really sucked.

Not sure if you did layaway as well, but really sorry it's taking so long. Really hope they will prioritize those December orders and get those out. I know that with the website change, there was probably a lot going on, but 8-10 month waits are agonizing!

 

I did do layaway, but I paid early, as the website was swapping over I didn’t trust my own math skills.

I figure I’ll just wait it out now rather then asking for more hollow dates.

 

Just be patient everyone. Souldoll emailed me with a update to let me know that they sent my doll and provided tracking. So, they will be on their way!
I hope everyone doesn't have to wait too long for their dolls!

*UPDATE: My doll arrived Wednesday! She absolutely gorgeous and I hope everyone will get theirs soon!

 

I ordered two dolls in lavender direct from Souldoll (Tikita boy and Baby pink Loverly girl). I love the resin color when I saw it at Resin Rose. Is the wait time generally 4-5 months still?

well... I just received my winter berry A. girl just this past week after a long layaway AND THEN SOULDOLL RELEASES PERSEPHONE AGAIN IN A PINK KINDA COLOUR.... time to start another layaway rip my wallet....
I'm wondering if I can ask for the gift head in another colour tho, I want a Mila head but not in the special colour

UGH... I'm paying off my Aspyn, but I really love the new Angel Persephone. I think she'd look so cute with my Baby Pink girl. I gotta crunch numbers to see if this is something I can realistically afford. =o=

@Dybbuk I'll take some pics of her when I get the chance! I only got her with a company faceup... I could not afford the fullset she's very pretty but I'm not gonna lie her nose is more pointy/pronounced in real life than it appears in the promo pics

@Aurify : It's definitely stilled delayed...I purchased a doll from Souldoll at the beginning of this month, that they told me he was IN STOCK - I paid in full and still no shipment for him. Wondering if they're running crazy behind with all these releases in special colors/fullsets. On one hand, I'm super happy business is booming for them, but hope they can find a balance where the delivery time doesn't suffer too much.

 

^^ oh yikes. Didn't they have to stop accepting orders for a month a few years ago because they fell so far behind? Hope we're not in for a repeat!

My WooJin arrived today. His hips are gonna need some modding, but overall I’m very happy with him. He’s even more perfect for the character I’ll be making him into than I thought he would be.

On a secondary note, Souldoll said they are still sanding/completing seam removal on my Tera Zenith boy. He will be shipped sometime next week!

 

I've only been waiting 6 weeks so far, but I'm ready for my doll! LOL. I got a faceup and outfit, so I know she probably won't be ready until, like, May or something...

 

Man, I understand delays happen, but I really wish companies as a whole would start telling us when the delays will happen rather than us having to reach out xP SoulDoll originally told me mid-Nov for my boy, but when I emailed again recently to see, they said mid-Dec. A little frustrating if only because of the lack of communication. Like, it’s fine! Just tell me! You’d think with the whole DollShe situation companies would be going the extra mile to communicate. Oyyyyyyyyyy.

I just paid my last layaway payment on my Aspyn Vito girl from the summer~ Now I gotta settle in for the wait on delivery~

@Aurify : The last time I contacted them via their message board, it took them a while to return my inquiry... like 5-6 days? I have a feeling they're pretty behind at the moment. Between their summer Fairy Story dolls (Millie, Linzy & Aspyn), the Lavender blue skin special order period for all their sculpts and a few limited heads they brought back, and the Angel Persephone order (plus the few basic released sprinkled inbetween); it's been a pretty crazy release schedule for them. Plus... I have no doubt they are prepping their winter lineup of dolls.

Hopefully they can get back on track to their 4 month wait~ I am trying to keep myself occupied on my current doll projects knowing this wait is going to be substantially longer than my Baby Pink's.

 

Has anyone by any chance ordered option parts (small stuff like hands, feet, busts) recently? I understand they have a huge delay with full dolls but how crazy is the wait for things that need less prepping time?

 

@cobaltconduct : I ordered some resin ears from them sometime last year and it didn't take very long.... maybe 1.5 months? But that was last year... I'd suspect longer now.
