Souldoll Waiting Room V10

You ever get your clothes in for the doll you're waiting for and think "man, I hope he comes sooner?" That's where I'm at for the moment! I'm so excited to see what Joelle.D will look like all together, but I'm also a little worried now that the pants might be too small. Guess I'll wait and see! In the mean time, I keep reminding myself to be patient...it's only been two months.

 

I just ordered all my boy's clothes over the past couple of days, so now I'm waiting on those too! They'll definitely be here before the doll comes in and I'm also worried specifically about the pants fitting. It's only been a month for me, so this feeling is relatable! Ugh the wait is unbearable!

 

Hooray! Yeah, the shipping is crazy! I got a quote when I ordered back in March and every option was over $100 I opted to pay shipping once my boy is ready to be sent, but still, it's so expensive and I didn't know having a doll sent disassembled was an option. I don't think I could do it, at least not without some help since I've never done it Good luck putting him together! The wait and the payoff will totally be worth it!

 

I swear, regardless of context, I always have to worry about pants! If it doesn't fit but his shirt to long enough to cover the fact the button won't snap, that's usually fine by me, but I'm hoping that I'm wrong and they'll fit just fine. However, I can tell by looking at them that they look more suited for a slim 1/4, so I am a bit concerned. Soul boys are thick!

 

Although a longer shirt does help cover it up, fingers crossed the pants will fit alright! I've been double and triple checking measurements just to make sure, but... I guess we'll both find out when our boys get here! I've noticed too that Soul boys are thicker/wider in the hips and shoulders by like 1 or 2 cm than other standard MSD and SD17 dolls, it really makes quite a difference

 

Hi there- not to cut in, but! I have both the N.L. and new body (boy and girl), and Nine9 Style jeans fit both, or at least the pairs I bought secondhand do.

No need to apologize at all. I'll definitely have to try the Nine9 Style jeans, thank you so much! It'll definitely make a it a lot easier if I can just shop a certain brand to find something that will fit, so I really appreciate it!

 

Man, I just ordered my first new doll in like... over a decade! Wild! Learned that I just prefer MSD and smaller sizes so I ordered a Kid Ye Dong-Ha with normal skin to pair with my sweet little LUTS Ani. He looks very handsome! And now, the long, long wait... haha!

 

Congratulations, that's amazing! I ordered a Zenith Seo Jeong-U about 6 weeks ago (about halfway through the posted 12 week waiting period...) and he too is my first doll in almost a decade!
The wait is always the hardest, but it's worth it. Can't wait to hear when your boy comes in!

That's so exciting, @DamirSoull! I hope the waiting period takes far less time than the usual. I just hit 12 weeks for my order, and I'm hoping he doesn't ship out while I'm on vacation next week!

 

That would be awful! Hopefully not! I always panic when packages ship out and I'm not home to receive them! Good job on 12 weeks already. It feels like it's been ages since I ordered already but I still have so much longer to go haha

 

Hopefully it will go by fast! I'm trying to keep myself distracted by focusing on other things, otherwise I always end up on the impatient side. It'll be really nice to have a boy in my collection again, though.

Without any notice or fanfare, my Baby Pink Unicorn arrived! She was extremely well packed and came with almost a whole other doll in spare parts. A whole torso, extra chest piece, human shins, extra hands, extra hooves, two pairs of human feet and the gift head. Seriously just short of arms, thighs and knees. No idea what I'm to do with all these extra purple parts!

She's so gorgeous, and has one of my Unoa mori girl outfits on. Fittingly, it's lavender.

 

At long last! Souldoll contacted me with an "Your order is ready to ship" email. I just paid for the shipping and now the last stretch of my waiting period has come. I do hope my boy will be home soon!

I'm so excited! I just got my shipping notice on Joelle.D--he'll be home by next week!! I can't wait to get him dressed and ready for display.

Now it's the agonizing wait for the mailman to drop him off...now that I work in the office, I also need to make sure my boyfriend actually answers the door, otherwise it'll be difficult grabbing him from the post office!

Can i ask when you ordered? To get an estimate of current wait time. I kinda expected my doll this month but she hasnt arrived so I'm wondering if they're taking longer than usual

I believe they are taking 3+ weeks longer than the expected wait times right now. At least when I ordered my Seo Jeong-U (blank) on March 28th, I didn't get a shipping notification until July 13th. So that's about 15 weeks rather than the estimated 12.

 

I think i ordered april 15th ish? So hopefully any day now!

 

Ah so definitely keep an eye out! Your doll may arrive without notice; I've heard Souldoll doesn't always notify about shipping if you paid for it up front I opted to wait until my doll was ready to be sent before paying shipping so I had at least some sense of when he would arrive. They emailed me when he was ready, but I didn't recieved that kind of standard notification when the parcel was actually shipped as I couldn't track it.

 

Of course! I ordered my boy through Alice's Collections on March 6th, and he shipped out August 19th. I did order him with a face-up, which is why the processing time may have been a bit longer on top of the delays. Alice's Collections let me know when he shipped, which was perfect. So I waited about 24 weeks?

 

I ordered through BJDivas- i asked them last week if they had an update and they said she hasnt arrived yet and they would let me know when she does. So i *should* have a heads up

Ahh yes a dealer should have more consistency with shipping notifications, that would make a difference Hopefully it won't be too long then!

 

I saw a souldoll onulharu photo for the first time yesterday and fell in love and ordered one on layaway about an hour later. Lol. Now I have to start making clothes for him.

 

Just got notification from BJDivas that my body finally arrived to them and gave me a tracking number. Fingers crossed all arrives safe and soon. (ordered on March 30th)

 

My Joelle.D finally arrived!! I'm so pleased with him, and he even came with an unexpected set of extra hands, which I really appreciate.

I haven't had a chance to properly photograph him, but I'm definitely excited to pull out the camera when I can. I have been dealing with a lot of chronic health issues, so seeing him at my doorstep really made my day!

 

After waiting for so long, Souldoll finally sent my shipping notice They also let me know they forgot to add the heel feet I ordered and will send that with a free large bust on the next round of shipping

 

I checked in with BJDivas today
They still have not received my doll
They said that souldoll is redesigning their boxes to allow for cheaper shipping so they need more time
It seems i will not get her for a while still.

 

Put down my first layaway payment for a Serein fullset back on 9/20. Her gaze and stature reminds me of the Doll from Bloodborne - and I'm sure the fullset photos helped in that regard. I'd love to make both a Doll and Lady Maria cosplay for her.

currently on a 6 month layaway for berryA. (golden winter) I got her in tan skin with faceup! not a huge fan of her hooves so just human version, but kinda wishing I got her horns lol
But honestly prob couldn't afford it
I'm excited to pay her off and for when she's finally home! This is my first layaway ever too!
Hopefully she won't end up being the doll I have to wait the longest for, So far currently have a dollyzone one that im expecting will be the winner in lengthy wait times lol

 

How long has everyone typically been waiting for their dolls? I ordered a head from them back in August of last year thru BJDivas and still no word on when it might arrive.

 

My direct order took 5 months but it might be different when going through a dealer.

 

I just wrote about their 5 months wait time in my post yesterday and then I got hit with a surprise today:
My Soulkids Vivaan will be shipped on Friday . That's a 2.5 month turnaround time from Souldoll .

I honestly didn't expect him before May . But what will he wear? He's my first 1/4 boy. Guess it's time to do some emergency sewing.

Got the shipment notice for Serein last week - and no joke, 3 days later she ends up on my doorstep! EMS must have an in with customs.

My last layaway payment was mid-December. So that was 3 months, accounting for Lumar New Year holidays as well.

Now, I'm waiting on an outfit from Soom first before I go about unboxing her. One of these days I'd love to have one of their boys next!

 

Just popping in to ask if anyone else is experiencing this.

I have a fantasy Caleb on layaway. I’m on payment 3 now, and on the last day of March it’ll be payment 4. The previous two payments were recorded as completed within the order details. The third one remains unrecorded.

I am also concerned when they old website closes at the end of this month my order will drain down the cyber space plug without me being able to check in on it.
Which makes me anxious.
I have made an account on the new website, but I highly doubt they will move orders across to that site as I presume the whole system works differently. There was also no message about moving orders over in their announcement.

I’ve never had a website full closure and totally new website upgrade happen in the middle of even waiting for a fully paid doll, so for it to happen during a layaway…again…Anxious.

Does anyone have anything like this going on? I’m likely worrying for nothing, but I’d rather check in here for reassurance than with Souldoll themselves.
