Hello everyone ! I ordered a Seo Jeong-U Zenith Boy a few days ago. I can't wait for him to come home !

 

Super excited!! Souldoll is shipping my Baby Pink Unicorn Ver. I got her unpainted in the violet skintone, but with all the fantasy parts, ordered 10/06/21. *happy dance*

 

My penance is done! My Rudy Girl arrived yesterday. Ordered July 30th, almost 5 months to the day. She's my first doll and I couldn't be happier.

 

AAAH! Please share pictures with us! I am so excited to see owner photos... I'm still in 6 month layaway purgatory lol

@Elanie : What a gorgeous boy, I would love to see more pictures of him. What skin tone did you get?

@Dybbuk : I really thing he is such a beautiful boy as well. I got him in Normal Skin. I would have liked the Dark Sandy Brown skin, but it was quite more expensive, and I kept a bit of money for clothes, shoes, wig...

And I'll definitely post pictures when he comes home. It's been 6 weeks already, and I am prepared to wait around 8/9 more weeks, since I took the face-up option.

 

@Elanie : Ah yes, I love the look of their tans skin but I haven't bought a Soul Doll in tan yet. I think Seo Jeong-U looks great in a fair pinky tone though I hope that Soul Doll was able to speed up their production time since they temporarily stopped production on some of the lines for a few months... but I'm not holding my breath. I only have one more payment for my Baby Pink unicorn and I'm hoping they started her production! I get so impatient lol...

 

First time joining this waiting room! I ordered myself a soulkid Flory! I find her face just too cute to pass up! I'm excited to have one of their dolls in my collection. Let the wait begin!

She's here!! Apologies for the crappy pic, lol. My Baby Pink Unicorn Ver. shipped on 12/31 and I got here 1/4, via DHL. I love the light violet, she is very pale, but definitely purple haha. I was so surprised to get my shipping notice so soon, but I'm definitely not complaining! (I have Dollshes on order since 2019) The longest I've ever waited with them was 5 months, for my Kid Shaun in sandy brown skin.

Congrats on everyone else getting their dolls! I'm waffling on if I want to take the plunge on Swinte Elf. The ears on both these girls, I luvs thems

The Elf Swinte in the Moonlight Tan Skin is very beautiful. I don't really collect many SD girls so I'm having to pass on her, but I hope someone orders her! Would love to see how that tan looks in owner pics as well.

 

I ordered her blank as I wanted to try my hand at giving her a face up. I am honestly shocked at how fast the production was. I expected that they might be a longer due to everything going on and the holidays. I hope your doll is sent just as quickly!

She is so beautiful in that violet! It is almost more of a lavender tone I agree fully on the ears! I already was interested in Swinte and then they released her with elf ears... in the end I could not resist ordering her

 

@Birke : I am shocked too! Last time I ordered a doll from them (Souldoll Zenith Jio) he took 5 months for a Normal Skin doll, and I opted to have him sent disassembled with no box. However, Souldoll did suspend certain lines for a couple of months so I wonder if that helped them catch up so they could focus on getting dolls sent out. If so, I'm really happy it mean a super short wait time for collectors.

I can't wait to see what you do with her faceup! I am also wondering how I will paint my girl's fantasy parts/extra head because I did get her unicorn head with a faceup so it would come all bedazzled. When did you order your Elf Swinte?? So far you're the only person I've seen on the forum say they got her! How exciting!

 

Her company face up is gorgeous and I am excited to see owner photos It was a hard choice to skip her face up but I had a few ideas so I figured why not try.
Painting the extra parts does seem like it will be a challenge... I look forward to seeing what you do with your doll, the face ups and painting you do are beautiful!

I ordered Swinte on first of December. I got her with the new fantasy skintone and face up I cannot wait to see the skintone in person! It looks so pretty

 

@Dybbuk She is definitely a lilac, pale purple. There are probably gray undertones, which is why my phone keeps trying to make her blue LOL I'm working on painting another doll (which is why I have nothing ready for her), but she'll definitely have more pictures! I have to figure out her color palette and just about everything else lol.

@Birke Yeah, she's definitely lavender, it is way more pink than in the photo. I had her against a red chair so my phone camera leaned towards blue gray. Congrats on your Swinte!! I may take the plunge yet, we shall see!

I'll be sure to post more in the main discussion threads once I get pictures with my other camera and get her finished up

 

@Birke : Thanks so much! I think I'm going to enjoy airbrushing her parts, and I have a few ideas already but it will definitely be a challenge... fantasy parts always are! Oh I hope your Swinte is shipped in a fast manner like Baby Pink! I adore her faceup too, so I'm glad you got it. I can't wait to see this new Moonlight Tan resin too Ugh... one of my resolutions is to not buy any more dolls but if Souldoll does more cool tan dolls like this I may not survive.

@karlyl : Thanks so much for the clarification. It can be so hard to capture the true resin color in photos, but she's beautiful regardless! I adore her expression, and everything about her is so beautiful like I imagined. Have fun fixing her up! I'll be watching out for her hehehee

I’ve been waiting for my Souldoll Flory fullset since I finished paying off her layaway a couple of months ago, and the anticipation is killing me!! It’ll be worth it when she’s finally here though

 

I just put Soul Doll’s Zenith boys Ah-In on layaway with BJDivas. Today was the last day to get the preorder in for Ah-In angel version in the moonlight brown skin. I thought about it for a few weeks and finally gave in. He’s just too beautiful to pass up and he’s also a limited edition so I didn’t want to miss out. I did reminded myself to limit my buys to 1 or 2 dolls a year and for 2022 it’s going to be Ah-In. Soooo super excited!! I know I’m probably not going to see him until Christmas but the thought of seeing him then, just makes it more exciting.

 

@Megami11 : I'm so happy someone got him! I was also wrestling with getting him because that resin is so gorgeous, BUT UGGGH can't justify it right now. Still got to pay off my Baby Pink Unicorn and Tarot Riris fullset. However, I'm very happy for you and hope you'll share him with us! Did you get him as a fullset or just the doll itself?

Speaking of which, tomorrow is my LAST payment for Baby Pink Unicorn! Yay! I hope shipping isn't too far after.

 

Looks like I’m not the only one! I went back and forth for a while but I also went for it and bought Ah-in Angel version in moonlight brown skin. I ended up doing the entire fullset I think he’ll fit in really well with my dolls and the color just looked gorgeous so time to settle in for the wait.

In regards to that, one question - I ordered direct from souldoll and the only email confirmation I have is from PayPal - is that normal? I have it in my order history so I’m sure they have the order but just want to make sure nothing is getting blocked for when its (finally) time to ship and I need to pay more ><

I think I didn't pay for shipping, since it's not available yet, and will be asked to send the shipping fees once the doll is ready.

@abs2891 : Can confirm that Soul Doll doesn't send a confirmation order email, but they are very good about tracking orders in your order history!

It can be good to exercise some self control haha I definitely fell in love with the way they did the wings with the different colors. Will have to figure out a way to display him with them as right now he wouldn’t be able to stand on the shelves where I’ve put the rest of my resin.

 

So I've been looking at Joelle.D for years and have always convinced myself for one reason or another not to get him. But still, I find myself looking at that smirking sculpt and still wanting him despite the amount of times I've told myself no. Since I figured I've literally wanted him for years, it was time to give in and place my order! Now I won't have to stare at him longingly anymore

 

My Souldoll Zenith Seo Jeong-U arrived today, and I'm totally in love with him. I took a lot of pictures, but don't know where to post them without being an annoyance, so here are just two for now, until I figure out where to post the other ones.

I just finished ordering a Rahel head! I bought a souldoll body second hand and I really wanted the head it had to work buuut... I now have a new one on the way! lol

I finaaaaally paid off my 8 month layaway of my Souldoll Tarot Vito Riris fullset. I honestly can't believe it. She'll make it home before my Baby Pink Unicorn I paid off 3 months ago lol. So excited!

Hello all! I'm new to this waiting room and I just ordered my very first Souldoll! I finally purchased a Zenith Seo Jeong-U for one of my characters after a few years of viewing from afar. I'm so excited since this is also my first doll in nine years!

 

Congratulations! He's so beautiful and it's great to see owner photos of him since I don't seem to see his sculpt around that often! I just ordered a Seo Jeong-U as well, blank, and I'm already anxiously awaiting for the day he he will arrive

Yes, he is actually beautiful, even more so than the pictures suggest.
And you're right, I don't see many pictures of him, which is such a shame !
I wish I was good enough at face-up to order him blank, because his lips are a bit too heavily done for my taste, but I still think he is amazing.
Can't wait to look what you do with yours !
(For me the waiting time was around 4 months, but for you it should be a little bit shorter without face-up)

 

I'm waiting on my second Souldoll boy and I really, really love their sculpting. Their faces are really beautiful and I appreciate the details they include in the shaping of the eyes. I find their bodies to be pretty nice as well, which is always a big bonus! I can't look at all the new Souldoll releases, or else my wallet would be crying.

 

With some of the birthday money I got today I finally ordered a Soulkid girl body for my floating Moa.S Animal head who I'm then going to put on the Aehael centaur body I have. She's going to be themed after the Disney Fantasia Centaurettes. Ordered it thought BJDivas and just outright paid it in full. I'm very excited and can't wait to start customizing her

 

Good to know about the waiting time! It already feels like it'll be a long wait, but I hope it'll fly by!

I'm actually going to send him to a face-up artist since I'm not skilled at face-ups either hahaha. I think his default is nice (though I agree with the lips), but I have something more specific in mind which is why I ordered him blank. I'll be sure to upload photos when he arrives and will probably create a doll profile for him once he has his face-up!

 

That's great! I saw here on an earlier post you're waiting on a Joelle.D after wanting him for years, I totally understand! Congrats! Love his smirking expression, so mischievous! I also really appreciate the beautiful faces of their sculpts, and their eyes are what really draws me in too. Honestly there's quite a few sculpts I want from them, but alas, I will have to save up again!

 

Thank you!! Yes--back in 2015 I was between Joelle.D and Kanguk, and ultimately ended up going with Kanguk. He's beautiful, but I didn't bond with him--I realize the size is too big for me to handle--so I'm really excited to get the smirking boy in! I intend to shell one of my characters into him that's kind of a stinker.

The eyes are GORGEOUS, truly! The way they delicately shape them just creates such a nice look, and it adds so much character to the sculpt. Then the fun part is choosing the eyes to put in those sockets, though for my Joelle.D, he'll have dark eyes. Speaking of which...I really need to buy some.

 

I'll be waiting for your photos, probably not nearly as much as you'll be waiting for him, though.
4 months is not that long of a wait, but he was my first bjd doll ever, and I was so eager !

 

Ahhh yes, not bonding with a doll is a little discouraging I think, but now hopefully with your Joelle.D it'll click right away! I also plan to shell a character I've been been wanting to shell for a really long time with Seo Jeong-U! It's so much fun when our characters can come to life

I think something about the way their eyes are sculpted makes them more real and choosing the perfect eyes is also exciting I requested different eyes for my Seo Jeong-U, but I also bought an extra pair...just in case! Good luck finding the right yes for your boy, can't wait to see when he arrives and what you'll do with him!

 

And plenty of them I will post This is my 6th doll, the longest I've waited is 2-3 months... So I have some experience with the waits! Also, that's so cool he was your very first doll!

 

I hope so too! Though I don't mind if it's not meant to be--I've parted with a few dolls in the past, so I tend to see it as growing pains. But, since I've wanted the sculpt for a long time, I have a lot of confidence it'll work out. If not, I'll be happy to shell him into a different character instead. Oh definitely! I'll be looking forward to seeing how Seo Jeong-U turns out. Hopefully one of the eyes you purchased work out!

Gosh, I'm so excited for you! The great thing about dolls is that you can always change the face-up, so there's no harm if you don't like the make-up she arrives with. I think she'll be a great doll for you, and I look forward to hearing of her arrival.

I just received the email from Soul Doll about shipping. I had to choose to have him sent unassembled when the time comes, as it was over $100 otherwise. I haven't put a doll together in about 3 years so that'll be fun
