Souldoll Waiting Room V10

I just placed an order for my second bjd, a lovely EunWoo. Decided to take advantage of the sandy brown skin order period, too! I had to put her on layway but I am so excited to finally get a girl. It took a long time for one to click for me to go, "That's the one." Working on a name and story already, yay.

 

I have had a 12 month layaway with BJDivas for the vampire versions in grey skin of Diana and SuA. Next month is my last payment. They are already received and ready to ship as soon as I complete the last payment. It has been seriously hard to not just pay them off early and get them since I can't wait to see them!

 

A new girl arrived. The deadlines were met perfectly, 14 weeks.

 

My little lady arrived! I was shocked to find that not only did I not have to wait after layaway, but she was here a mere 5 days after I finished paying. I've no clothes or wig for her, and I plan to learn how to do faceups with her, so she's a little naked alien at the moment, but she's my little naked alien.

My SoulDoll Vino Vampire Vers. head ( in their old white skin) came today!! Ordered on 2019-12-04 and got it today 2020-02-10, it took longer then they said it would but it was due to a lot of orders so understandable
It was super surprising as i had just got the email about it being shipped this morning so I thought it'd take a week, but there it was when i came home! I guess they mailed it before sending the email?



I love her so much, her ears are so cute!! Can't wait to to give her her look

 

A little late coming in. I have a Vito girl body coming in for a hybrid and Ye Dong-Ha for a character reshell. A bit of an experiment on him too, I ordered heel feet for vito girls as well to see if I can mod them to fit the N.L. Boy body. Hopefully they come in soon and safely.

I have recently began a layaway with BJDivas for their Star Tarot FS. Im excited as she will be my first SD and I've only had MSD or YoSD

 

Just as a heads up I just received an e-mail about a delay in productions.

I ordered at the end of the summer event and I'm pretty sure it has been "Item Processing" since November (It was a big order and layaway). I was told it would be mailed out by the end of February but just received an e-mail that it will now be mailed by the end of March because of production delays. The e-mail mentions them receiving a large influx of orders and this is apparently why the time is delayed.

 

Ordered my first ever doll! A normal skin YeonSoo Soulkid. I can't wait for her to arrive!

I have so much sewing to do!

 

I placed an order from Alice’s Collections for a Souldoll Sae Nu - zenith size. My Souldoll Milky Way was ordered in September of last year and I got her the end of December. Here’s hoping my guy will come relatively quick also! With the pandemic though, I’m not really expecting it!

 

I ordered their Vito Charotte star late January and I just finished paying her off today! I'm super excited to customize her, though I'm a bit nervous since this will be my first SD(ish?) sized doll

 

I'm not sure if it'd be better to ask this in the discussion room (let me know if so) but- has anyone here had success ordering a male soulkids head on a female soulkids body, or vice-versa? I was going to approach BJDivas about it as well, but I thought I'd put feelers out about it here too... I was assuming this was the only way to get a separate head (other than 2nd hand)...

 

@Beedalee I can't remember if anyone has successfully placed an order like that. I believe the neck size is about a cm bigger on the boy body, so a girl head might not fit. & a boy head may be fairly gappy on a girl body. There might be some modding required. Probably worth asking in the discussion thread.
It can't hurt to ask BJDivas/Souldoll about it if your heart is set on a particular combo.
Otherwise a WTB or split on the marketplace is probably your best bet.

 

Ahh okay, I knew it might be a long shot. I wanted to see if they'd let me get a boy head if I ordered a body too to make a 'complete doll order', if you will... I actually want to hybrid them separately. But it seems Souldoll hasn't been letting people order just heads for some time. I'll try the ISO route more seriously first and then see about splits and the like. Thank you for the input!!

 

Not a doll, but I bought the Wisd-KF "Shabby Dress" on May 17th, and I'm so eagerly awaiting this dress and the cost of it FEELS like waiting for a doll.

Ordered a Souldoll Kid Juno in March through BJDivas, and then a Ricia in April along with some other dolls. They’re on 12 months layaways, but I’m hoping they’ll let me know when they come in, because I can probably get the funds together to pay them off early. The last time I ordered through bjdivas, last year, I had to inquire to them to figure out they had gotten my Souldoll orders in. I’m hoping they’ve gotten in a bit better about sending out emails when things come in, since then.... though I honestly have no idea what Souldoll’s wait times are like at the moment. Those super long layaway options with BJDivas sure are great, though. It’s tempting to put a ton of dolls on order with them

 

Souldoll was lovely enough to allow me to order a set of doll arms from the newer male Kid body after I asked them about it in their Q&A board. Got that an 2 sets of male Kid clothes ordered back in May. Looking forward to getting everything eventually and switching out my boy’s arms out for something that might actually work better (I got an Unoa Elder Zest head on a NL Kid body and those arms just aren’t a good time for my patience).

 

With the pandemic, I know production is delayed but out of curiosity, anyone ordered around Sep/Nov arrived yet? I ordered a kid body and it's almost 10 months now and I'm losing hope it won't arrive until a full year. I've check with BJDiva back in May and it haven't arrived to them yet.

I've started doing a long layaway, but I am very excited, it has been a long time since bought a new bjd.

@aireoko Ouch that’s quite a wait. x_x I hope you hear about your order soon if you haven’t already. I know BJDivas themselves are pretty backed up since I think it’s still just the one person running things right now due to the others getting sick or something.

 

I contacted them several times and never heard anything so I took things into my own hands for my order that I placed in November through them with Souldoll. SoulDoll gave me the tracking number and I was able to track the order to when it arrived. Your order very well may be there. You can check with her but reply times are slow right now.

 

Bjdivas recently got a Souldoll shipment. I know because /half/ my order was in it. While I'm glad I got one of my dolls... I'm annoyed they didn't both come together.

 

just made my first payment out of 12 on Rudy girl vs! I'm super excited. I got her with normal skin, heeled feet add on, and red eyes. I'm gonna need to get a wig as well but I prioritized the doll.

Edit: I'm also going through BJDivas. I'm planning on paying the installments until the doll reaches them at which point I'll probably pay in full.

 

Took the plunge and got my first couple of dolls after years of thinking about it and saving just in case. I don't know what I got myself into, or what to expect. I hope I don't feel too tortured during wait times, I'm pretty scared haha.

 

Still waiting on my vito body to come in...but at least the beautiful water wifey came in.

 

I ordered YeonSoo finally after 2 years of waiting and I couldn't be more excited I had to take a few weeks simply to gather up the courage to click 'check-out', but I'm glad she's on her way here! I'm a tiny bit worried about the shipping time, but hopefully it won't sit in some random warehouse for too long

 

Ordered a Tera Zenith Daydream on May 07th. He was just shipped out last Friday (August 21st) I'm really curious if he'll be as tall as the Loongsoul 75cm or if that was just a rough estimate on height.

 

I just put in an order for a soul kids Willow! I'm so excited.

I’m happy to say that my assumption was correct and my order just got shipped recently.

 

He arrived sometime after 9pm on Tuesday and I couldn't be more surprised.
He's very handsome and very big. He's almost as thick as my Iplehouse EID Superhero.
Even though I have many boys, I don't quite have anything that fits his chest size except the EID stuff (and some loosely fitting Loongsoul stuff --NOT loose on him though! VERY tight)
He is about as tall as my 75cm Loongsoul hybrid and he's wearing a coat that loosely fit the Loongsoul. --it's extremely tight on him though.



Very happy with this one and he's got a long way to go before he's complete.
My Triton Bard/Paladin will be complete eventually

I’m happy to say my order from Souldoll also arrived this week! Still gotta try all the clothes on my dolls to see who will claim what, but they’re all pretty snazzy look, so I’m excited to use them to put together some cool outfits for my crew.

Also put the arms I purchased onto my older NL boy body. Definitely a wonky fit, but lawrdy it is soooo much better than the arms that are originally on the NL body!



The character I was using this body for has since been upgraded to a full Unoa Elder Brother Zest (whereas before I had the Zest head on this body), so lmao this body is now useless to me. I’m halfway tempted to keep it since it’s so beautifully sculpted, but I’ll have to eventually sell the doll on since I don’t like keeping doll things I’m not going to actually utilize. Just glad I thought to buy the outfit sets or this wait would have been completely anticlimatic.

 

Thank you @Singull ! If I can't find anything then I could possibly make something for him. I do really love Joseon era clothing.
That body looks pretty nice. I can understand not wanting to keep something you won't utilize. I've done that with a few Luts event heads. He's around 46-47cm, right? I hope you find something for him! Their detailing is really nice so even if you can't find something for it, you could definitely sell it. What outfit set did you get?

@Singull Wow I really like the knitted sweater. They're going to look great on your doll! ( I think I found some really nice clothing on Legend Doll for Uncle size dolls so I really really hope it fits this big guy)

Their bodies are slightly bigger than a 73cm Loongsoul so I'm a little worried.

@dxgirly ahh that's pretty awful. Did BJDivas give you any updates? I ordered mine through Alice's Collections so I've had full transparency. Is there a way to contact them to get information regarding your order? I ordered my big guy in May.

 

I've place an order on Sep 13 directly with Souldoll for a kid body and a couple of heads. I hope it will arrive faster this time compared my BJDivas order. That 10th months wait was rough!

 

@LimeLord i emailed them about it, and they said they haven’t received it yet, and are just now getting in orders from February, so it may be awhile yet. At least now I know!

Ordered a blank ns Joelle.D and a ns Juno Body through acbjd today, no layaway this time! Only took me a year to finally just do it. *straps in for the wait*

 

I'm a bit late adding to this, but I placed two separate orders back in September before the event ended. One order for a TeraZenith Henry (Gift Head and TZ Body) and a Zenith Isabel with face up....and then I caved and placed another order for TeraZenith Josh and Zenith Lena a few days later. My impatience really kills me sometimes. I am halfway through paying them off already, with plans to pay at least the Henry/Isabel order off next month if not both of them. Time to hunker down for the wait, which is awful because I know I'm awful at waiting.

 

AHHHHHH MY ANNAMARI WAS SHIPPED xD Just got the email! This is the first time I buy a doll from a shop (through Alice's) and not second hand, and is also my first msd. I already have her eyes, 3 wigs, some clothes and boots lol. Now I'll need to save up to buy MSC and other things for her faceup! My birthday was last friday but it feels like it's today lol!!
I was done paying her layaway in july but honestly thought they would only ship her later like december or even next year!

 

Waiting on my souldoll Izen head that I purchased back on august 29th, I know that it’ll be awhile, but I’m fine with that. I need time to get his stuff around.

So glad I waited with my order till the Winter event... Just started layaway for Hari in Neutral Tan skin - can't wait to see how the skin tone compares to other tanned dolls I have...

 

I ordered Onsaemiro-girl ver. in Neutral Tan in late October- and I'm super excited. I only have one other doll, and I bought him secondhand, so this whole waiting thing is new and so interesting to me (but also terrifying in a way?).

(I guess I should mention I have one payment left on her due in December- since she is on layaway. )

 

I finished paying off both of my layaways on the 1st, but I waited for Paypal to take the money out of my account to post here. I also noticed last month that it went from "2nd Payment" to "Item Processing" even though I had not finished my layaway, so we'll see if I get my dolls sooner than the usual 6 months after payment.

 

I used 6 months layaway with Souldoll twice before (in 2016 and 2018) and on both occasions, I got the doll roughly 2 months after paying the last instalment, so they definitely started working on the dolls before getting all the money from me. In my case, both dolls were in limited resin colours (Lavi in milk cocoa/ metallic gold and Agnes in light blue) so I always assumed they wanted to do it already in batches with the other similar orders rather than wait until the last payment went through.

 

Hey everyone! I can finally join this waiting room after lurking through it in the past lol. I ordered a souldoll body on layaway through Alice's collection. I'm hoping to make a hybrid doll with an extra minifee head I'm waiting on. The soul doll kid body is so beautiful and I hear it poses really well! I'm really excited!

 

I ordred directly from Souldoll in September and impatiently waiting for the shipping and for the new heads to arrive.

I'm on my 6th payment out of 12 for my souldoll rudy, and she still hasn't shipped to the dealer I really hope they ship her to them in the next couple of months rather than after my layaway is over, since I wanna pay the rest of the layaway when the doll reaches them and have her before I go off to college. It'll be a nice comfort to have my doll with me in a strange new place, but who knows. With the pandemic and all the waiting I'm seeing I might not have her before I leave

 

I am patiently waiting for my Angel in neutral tan but I just ordered her this month so I expect it to take a while.

 

I just got a notice from DHL and I assume it's my Souldoll order from September (one blank doll, heads, and parts). Their website didn't update with the tracking but they are the only international order I'm waiting on from Korea.

 

I got notification from Divas that my new Vito girl body just got in to them! She won't ship until next week probably...but I'M SO EXCITED TO GET IN MY GIRL'S NEW BODY \o/

 

BJDivas finally got my Juno I ordered back in March, yesterday. So excited that I will finally have her in my collection again.
