Aww he's really cute!

My Islas got their new wigs yesterday, and i love them even more now. I was holding on to take more photos until after they got their new wigs, so i plan to take some more on Saturday I'll put them here.

I'm quite new to BJDs and only have 1 minifee and 1 Lati Yellow in addition to these 2. I find their joints a bit strange in comparison to the others, but i do like their size. I'd love to see more sweets around!

But they are finally selling the Rabarem/Cubarem heads separately! I have huge want!

Me too! I don't have any dolls her size, and Lully is my favorite Soulsweet. I guess I need to decide soon.

 

Yeah, me too. I've had Lully on my wish list for a while and thought I would have time, but I guess not. I do have dolls in this size and I really like them. They're big enough not to feel fragile and small enough to carry around everywhere. I want my Lully to be a boy, to go with my Soul Vito Lester.

 

I caved in, and ordered Rabarem head in white and no face up.

 

Well, I fell in love with these cuties when Nova was announced, and I'm super sad to see them going for good! I'm also sad that Nova isn't available by itself!

Hello everyone! New to this particular thread... Was very sad to hear that the Soulsweets were being discontinued. So even though it wasn't supposed to be in the budget for a while, I did manage to get enough together to order just one in time. Since I could only choose one, I went with Isla. She was at the top of my Soulsweet list, but I'm a bit bummed out that I won't be able to get the other girls I had my eye on: Lully, Mari, and Mia. If I could have gotten two out of the four it would have been Isla and Lully, but maybe I'll get lucky and one of the girls will come up on the MP later when I'm ready to welcome more home.

 

congrats on your order ecchibat! I've also managed to get it together and I ordered my Lully on Saturday. Mine is going to be a boy, though. I also think Isla is totally cute. Can't wait to see yours when she gets here!

Thanks!! ^^ I'm pretty excited for him, even though I know it'll be at least the end of May before he ships, and probably longer than that. I ordered him blank, so at least I won't have the extra time waiting for a company faceup.


I really wish this thread was more active. I've been trying to find owner photos of Lully here, on flickr and on Google images, but they seem few and far between. If the emptiness of this thread and the almost total lack of owner photos are any indication, I think I might understand why Souldoll has decided to discontinue these. It's really too bad, because they are totally adorable (at least I think so) and it would be really nice to see more of them around.

 

I went to look at the Sweet heads again today, and I saw that the link now says "Sweeter," and there are releases coming soon! I wonder if they'll post more information about them before the end of the month. If they have a new body, I'm curious how they compare to the "Sweet" dolls. I like Ailie, but Connie's kitty ears are pretty cute too.

I really need to make up my mind about getting a discontinued or Nova Sweet.

Oh! A new body would be interesting! I think Connie is cute of the ones posted in der Sweeter. I know, Meltar, wish we had more time to get those in the retiring batch.

 

I got my Rabarem-head few weeks back. I am going to make her hybrid with DC K-07 body - I have one of those at home already, so I did some comparison shoots how the head and body will fit together.

And I am, too, really curious about the Sweeters. Face look pretty, but what about the body?

 

Why, oh why did I check Souldoll and see Nova??? Why couldn't I have just stayed away???? Now that I've seen him, I don't think I can let him go, especially since the Sweet line is being discontinued and he's the last limited. UGH.

(I wanted to hold out on information about the Sweeter line, but I've only got until the 31st to act. I hope they release info about them before the month is up!)

she_flame, congrats on getting your Rabarem head! May I ask if you ordered it blank, and how long your waiting time was?

 

The new body looks less boxy, especially in the hips. I like it!

 

@SapphireStargazer, I ordered it blank, and got it in 4 weeks - even if Soul Doll says it takes at least 8weeks. I think it because it's just a head.

 

Dropping in to celebrate that I am getting a Nova.

My wallet and I were perfectly fine, until I stumbled upon Souldoll's website for whatever reason, probably taking a look at clothes, and I knew I was doomed. All the other potential purchases were dropped. This was it. Instead love.

I almost missed out due to paying to the wrong paypal address! Luckily, Souldoll contacted me on the 29th and I got it sorted out and they mailed me today, saying the order came through, (just in time!) One more payment, and he is officially mine.

Now for the waiting game and the name search. Who else is getting a Nova or a Souldoll Sweet(er) for that matter?
I only saw one other name for march on the waiting list.

And by the way, [MENTION=67158]pure_embers[/MENTION]: your picture of your Isla's look like they could be stock photos. So pretty!

I love the new sweeter body too... i think i will get some for the girls. I'm not so keen on their chunky limbs but the new body looks fantastic.

Congrats for everyone that has ordered recently! It's great to see more action on here. I think they're a lovely BJD.

I do have two Soulkids and love them. Souldoll does such a great job on the face-ups, both default and special. I'm really looking forward to this one and have his page bookmarked. LOL.

I'm getting a Nova! It was instalove for me, too, haha. And I think I'm keeping the sculpt name for him...it just fits so well.

I hadn't anticipated ordering her this soon, so while I have some generalized thoughts scribbled down in my journal, I haven't really filtered through it all yet. I'm still looking for a name for my Nova. Allthough I like his sculpt name, I prefer my dolls to be renamed, with the exception of a floating head, who I had refered to as her sculpt name for so long, thinking I would sell her, and when she got her body, the name had stuck. I still want a doll named Omega, the last bjd I'll ever buy, but I doubt Nova will be the last.

 

Thanks guys, and congrats to all of you, too! The wait is gonna be tough, ugh. Haha, I fully intended to rename him at first- I've renamed all my others- but once he became a character and I knew which 'family' he'd be part of, he'd have no other name but Nova.

Omega is an awesome name, gotta say, especially for a final doll.

 

[MENTION=67158]pure_embers[/MENTION] I had wanted Isla rabbit version, but she was already sold out, so I went with her cat version. Luckily I purchased when I did because as soon as I finished my order she was marked as sold out.

 

That was lucky [MENTION=68668]ecchibat[/MENTION] ! I like the wildcat stock too, i just wish i had 2 the same for my twins I found a big difference in wig quality between the two versions, but i've ended up re-wigging anyway.

I love how it looks like she is trying to convince you to go with her or come closer. The arm behind her back still gives her something eerie, despite the sunlight. Awesome.

I've got Sweet Lully, love her face, but hands look to big for me, and she is so tightly stringed. Will have to look for a new body, or mybe new hands? Does anybody have any suggestions? will appreciate the input.

 

I really love souldoll (I'm in love with soulkid) but I really never take a look at the soulsweet and now I'm trully in love with them. I think my new tiny will be a soulsweet! I really like Connie and JiEun

As I don't own a Soulsweet yet. As for a different body, it would also depend on what skintone your Lully is.
[MENTION=37168]Shinku[/MENTION]: Soulkids are awesome and addicting. I'm trying very hard to keep it at the two I have. xD The Soulsweet(er) sculpts are very lovely indeed. The new Connie is very pretty, I agree.

 

Shirelae, thank you for your response, she is normal skintone, I tried IslandDoll, fits but it is lighter then Souldoll and still not my favorite.

Here is the link. I guess they used normal pink skin, as I used to own a Dollzone normal yellow skin and that skintone would not have matched Souldoll normal skin.

 

Doll Chateau Kid bodies (I have tried with K-07) work size-wize fine with SoulSweets. But if one is looking for more natural look, then they are not the option.

I got a shipping notice for my Lully today! He was actually shipped on 3 July and is already on his way to Canada, so I hope he'll be here by week's end. I'm very excited for him.

I really liked the 'Remi' limited they had up, but after seeing that price today... no way. 510$ is more than twice the price of their normal YoSDs...................................
Does anyone know if this head sculpt was released before, or if Souldoll is likely to release it again or something? Or can anyone think of a similar sculpt? I don't need the dress or anything else, just the head is so perfect for what I had in mind, ahhh........ What a bummer!

 

You could do a split? You keep the head, someone else buys the body and / or clothes?
