Hey all. ^^ I ordered my first SD - Soul Doll Double Rye, such beauty! - from the summer event. I'm so exited! And also bit confused, as I am not sure if she'll wear wig sized 7-8 or 8-9. ^^; So if anyone here could help me out with this, please?

 

She wears a 7-8. ^_^ Her head is pretty much MSD size as most of the doubles seem to be. I ordered mine from Leekeworld though and they fit great. My Juhl and Lampard also wear this size if anyone else wants to know about those sculpts.

My Souldoll Kanguk boy Hak-Kun aka Ash! He's such a cutie, I love his faceup and his style is wayyy better than any of my other dolls

 

Ah!! He is super cute! I love his rounded nose; Kanguk has always been a sculpt I loved. What size eyes is he wearing?

I come again with (stupid?) questions. I am sure that this has been discussed before somewhere, but my search-function wizadry is not strong enough. So: where do you find shies to you double girls - heeled and flat, both? I have searched, but all SD-girl shoes seems to be too big (7,5cm usually) and MSD sized are totally to small (6,0 to 6,5cm). I am at loss.

I ordered one Kanguk head then I decided I needed twins so a month later I ordered the second before they discontinue the Double line. I want Ringdoll bodies for them though, does anyone know if their NS colors are still compatible? Searches say yes but Ringdoll's NS got paler. I thought I'd ask here and in the RD discussion.

 

My boy arrived a few weeks ago. A thing i noticed is that his neck is very tick and it is difficult to move his head. Is this normal for souldoll boys or did I string him to tight?

 

He may be strung too tightly. I'm assuming you got one of the unstrung dolls? All my Soul Doubles have been sent super-tight and needed to be restrung after arrival.

Yes I had one of the unstrung dolls. I had never strung a doll before, so I had no idea if it was normal >.<
I guess I have to string him again now :s

I got the shipping notice on my twin Kanguk heads. I ordered them a month apart but they are coming home together just a twins should.

Hello once again)) I could not stand by when Souldoll announced the end of Soul-Double line, so I ordered Juana's head)
While I'm still waiting, I have a few questions

1) Does she really wear 16mm eyes? Or 14mm still fit without gaps? I found oscardoll eyes I really like, but they are 14mm..
2) Is there anyone who tried DollZone NB58-001 or NB58-002 bodies for Soul-Double girls? My Juana's gonna be in white, so I don't care about color, proportions are my №1 priority)

I just recieved my new Hye head, and ofcourse it doesn't match my old Hye since she's 8 years old and very mellowed. But I was suprised at how well they kept the molds she is exactly the same as my old Hye, even the little uneven indent in her eyefold crease

 

I wonder if they are going to come out with another SD body. Right now all you can get are a 70 or a 52 male body, I don't want one too tall or too short.

At saturday i received Rye head) I thought she would be a little bit more small than she is. Souldoll sais hear head is 7-8 inch, but 7-8 silicone cap i bought for her is too small in size, and the wig on photo is 8-9 )))
Now the very problem is choosing the body(( It is very strange but on promo photo of summer event heads there is some new body i`ve never seen before. Souldoll delicatly not notice questions about body on photo)

I have Rye too and she wears a 7-8 wig cap and wig. Its pretty snug I guess but it stays on great. Maybe it is the company that they are from though, I haven't tried many other companies except for Leekeworld on my girl.
Coincidentally I have a Juhl too, mine are brother and sister.

Hmmm... maybe for Luts and Monique it will be really 7-8 i think, their wigs are a little bit larger in size. I ordered her 7-8 Luts, let's see what will come)
Mu Juhl and Rye also are brother and sister. It seems Souldoll suggested the same thought, as it comes from promo.

 

Just fyi, I put a luts 7-8 on my Juana and it's a tad small. I think if the shape of her head were more round it would fit better, but it really wants to pop off. I may end up trying a slightly larger one :/ .

 

KagamiShinigami, I have 16mm eyes in my Juana and the irises are definitely too big. The eyes themselves are a perfect fit in the eyewell, but they definitely don't look right. The eyes Souldoll makes in 16mm seem to have smaller ones than normal. I was thinking of trying 14mm eyes or getting 16mm ones that have small irises. If you try 14mm ones and they work well I'd love to know. ^_^

 

Has anyones Oliver's arrived yet? Mines stuck in customs

 

It is just sooo sad that their customer service is so horrible.

I would have totally bought a few more of their recent releases but I just can't deal with them ever again.

 

Would you mind sharing your experience with them?? I plan to order more from Souldoll in the future directly not through dealers

I saw the posting about the Souldoll head sale and jumped on the bandwagon and ordered a Kanguk head. I have no idea what I will do with him yet, and he's in white so I'll have to blush him, but I couldn't resist. Keep posting more pics please, they're great!!

Thank you! I getting the teen body 02 which is 60cm. and isn't really muscular, though it does have defined abs they are softer more young teenager. Which is what I want.

 

My lovely lady is finally not completely naked! She still needs a name, new eyes, and I'm thinking about getting a different wig for her. The one she's in needs a little TLC, but I've been thinking she would make a cute blond. Any thoughts? Sorry for the poor picture quality, I took it on my phone.

 

She's lovely. She looks good as a brunette though a bit melancholy; as a blonde she would probably seem happier.

 

I bought low dome black small iris eyes for my Kanguk twins. They look so good. I am very happy with the way they turned out. They look like real boys.

Oooh, they do look really good! It's definitely a more realistic look. I feel like a lot of Souldoll sculpts are really well suited for eyes with smaller irises. Are they 16mm eyes?

 

No, they are 14mm Beetle eyes and no gaps either. I'm doing my happy dance.

I got a surprise for Christmas. ._.; My brother got me a Gisele for Christmas, knowing that I had wanted one from the beginning and that I wasn't going to be able to get her before she was discontinued. I'll be giving her a face-up tonight and working on eyes, wig, and clothes in the coming days.

Amazing! I'm smitten with her dainty little body, and how pretty her hands and feet are!

My poor girl got some new stuff for the holidays only to have the shirts end up being too big. So now she just has bottoms to wear.... I think I'm gonna have to bust out the sewing machine :/

Hi everyone! I'm pretty new to these threads, I've been on DOA for years now but only had Iplehouse dolls up until this point. Today that changed though! My friend sent me a doll she won at a meet for a new faceup and I ended up falling in love with her. My friend wasn't sure if she wanted her or not and we ended up trading some things so now she's mine! I don't have her body yet, it's a double girl body, the new one, and I think in white resin.

So here she is! I'm going to turn her into a fairy, she needs new eyes and smaller wig. Her faceup was done by myself yesterday. I love her so much omg.
