Flett is such a beautiful sculpt! But also- I'm a huge fan of all the kid sculpts thus far, haha.
Did you name her? Or just keep her as Flett?

 

I love her sculpt too, I named her Annie ♥ I've always struggled with the choice between Flett and Yeon-bee honestly. They are both such beauties and each has its own character. But I chose Flett, and 5 years later I have Yeon-bee too but she's still in her box xD And two other kids from Souldoll, I'm a huge fan of them too, each sculpt make me wanna buy them haha

Do you have any kid from them too? Sorry if you already posted someone from your collection, I'm new here ^^

No worries! I'm new too, lol. My first doll is Joelle D, who I bought secondhand. My second is Onsaemiro girl. vers in neutral tan, on layaway since October, I'll be paying her off Thursday, hurray! And on Thursday I will also be paying for an Agasa head, who needs a lot of TLC.
So as of now, I've only purchased soulkids lmao

Another one is Milky Way, i think her sculpt is so potential and she arrived this april with default makeup from the company. Now I think I will change it and modify her eyes a little (not myself of course xD). And another girl is Juno in their neutral tan skin that I ordered 2,5 months ago like you (I can't resist this lol). I hope she will arrive in january

Oh Joelle was my crush in 2014 Sometimes I still think to get one boy in my collection but can't decide which sculpt to choose. And I really love Onsaemiro too! Tbh i love them all xD And I was in love with Agasa's outfit omg, it's so well made. Do you think you will hybrid them or stay on the original body?

I am torn because I love Ellie's animal parts the best but I like her face sculpt the least .

Ooooh, how do you want to modify her eyes? Oh man! I hope our dolls come at the same time, neutral tan looks so beautiful, and I'd love to see pictures of your Juno!
I may have to hybrid Agasa on a more "economically sound" body, as I intended to switch out my boy's NL body for the double jointed one before stumbling on her.

They're all so pretty! I personally like Ellie's face sculpt the most because of her doe like eyes, and just the general shape of her face and features? But I can understand why you might not be a fan! I wonder if you could ask if it's possible to switch parts? I don't know how that works, as I have very limited experience, but it may be worth a try!

 

I am always a bit nervous about reaching out to companies. But you are absolutely right. It's worth a try . Now I just need to figure out how to contact them.

Yes, it's always so annoying when you can't find what you are looking for and then it suddenly appears everywhere lol. I just want to "open" her eyes a little because I have a lot of "melancholic" girls I've never had any hybrid with Souldoll's heads honestly xD

I really love Angel, she is so sweet! Don't be afraid to communicate with them, they are always so kind and ready to help, they reply very quickly!

I'm going to order Angel with Ellie's horn parts in neutral tan .

Does anyone know how well they do with face ups on darker skin tones? I hope they don't just use the same blush color as for their lighter skin tones. So I will most likely order her blank to be sure I can get her a face up in the right shades.

 

I hope so, with closed borders it's not easy to get a makeup, I'm waiting 3 month already ugh

Here he is! Please excuse his poor faceup , it will be redone this Sunday, and his permanent wig (hopefully) will be here on Monday.

I'm trying to order Ellie, but I keep getting an error message trying to checkout with Paypal saying my order "is not a regular order"? Anyone else having a similar issue? I left a Q&A, so hopefully Souldoll can help me figure out the issue.

 

Yes I had the exact same issue. I wrote them but I imagine they aren't working on weekends .

Were you able to order now? I think they fixed the issue as I had no trouble with placing my order just a few minutes ago.

 

@laquaza thanks for checking back! I got the message below from Souldoll (for reference, in case it is relevant to anyone else):

We have tested it and we have realized the same error and contacted to hosting company.
It takes some time for resolving the error.

But hopefully the problem is fixed now based on your observations.

After once again spending the better half of the day dealing with an irritating ant problem in my apartment, I've decided to pass on Ellie in favor of adding to the house fund. I'll be looking forward to seeing photos from anyone else who does get these ladies!

 

I'm really tempted to order Jena-Keen version for her horn and wings but her head won't fit with my collections. Ellie in neutral tan + Ellie event free bust and hand pieces is very tempting for me. If only it didn't have an end date of 31st

 

I hope I'm not interrupting anything, but some time ago I mentioned trying something to help my NL boy stand. It worked in the end I made a paper mache cast for my boy's feet, so now they don't flop around, naturally some tighter socks and shoes won't go over them, but for the most part, it works!

I love SoulDoll in general, and I just ordered Angel as a fullset! She will be my first 1/4 size doll (I collect the big ones) so I'm a little nervous but she was just so cute I had to grab her. Especially with all the extras they're tossing in and the event discount.

I saw the large shipping announcement as I was checking out, and I just want to double check that I'm understanding correctly that they will charge me the shipping when the doll is ready to ship?

 

Yes I asked them about the shipping (ordered Angel as well ) and they said they will charge me when she is ready to ship. I imagine this is because the shipping rates are rather unpredictable right now.

 

Thank you! They emailed me to explain as well. Now for the hardest part--the wait. Looking at the waiting room, it looked like four months or so, that's not bad at all. Here's hoping.

 

Would anyone be able to share photos of their SD Kid boy with other MSD sized dolls? Preferably the newer double jointed body. I have Luts and Volks MSDs, Unoa, Narae, MNF, and I'd love to see just how tall the Kid boy is compared to them!

Hi! I got a Soulkid on the NL body recently. After a restring, she doesn't seem to be posing the same as before, so I went looking for a guide.

It turns out that the guide linked in the first post of this thread doesn't exist anymore, and I can't seem to find it on Wayback Machine, either.

Does anyone know of another guide? Sorry if this is annoying

 

My Juno in new tan arrived recently and she's stunning! This skin color is really beautiful, I'm in love with her ♥

That tan is gorgeous!! I think this is the first I've seen owner pictures of it (but I mostly live under a rock.)

She seems to be acting mostly normal again now. I'm mostly just concerned that I'm supposed to be doing something with the second torso hole, instead of putting the elastic straight down through the legs... well, I'll figure it out someday

Hope this will be somewhat helpful as height reference! From left to right: Iplehouse JID girl on the old body (43 cm), Souldoll Kid boy on the NL body (47 cm), Withdoll JWD boy (45 cm), and a Luts MDF torso haha. I propped a 12-inch ruler there for scale.

 

Soooooo beautiful! The colour looks great. I'm still paying layaway for my neutral tan Hari, but I see she's going to be worth the wait!

I second emailing Souldoll. I was restringing my zenith sized doll the other day and asked them for a guide and they sent me a clear and detailed guide step by step on the restringing

 

Ah ha, so it's a new color! That makes me feel a bit better. I've been out of the hobby for a few years and have now come back with a vengeance, so I feel out of touch sometimes.

Those of you who have the soulkid girls, is it true that they can share clothes with Minifee girls? I see that some of the measurements line up, and there's SO many shops for Minifee (it's crazy how popular they are!) that it'd be great to use those, but I was hoping someone could verify before I go nuts... >.>

I can't say all clothes will fit Souldoll girls. Their hips are larger than Minifee's. Plus Soulkids are more tall so major part of pants would not fit. But with tops it's easier ^^

@ryuunohime I split a seam of the minifee leggings I tried on my souldoll girl. Oops. (Lucky I sew and could repair the seam) She also couldn't wear the "msd" jeans from Alice's because of her thighs. So mine really just wears dresses.

 

Oh then I guess I should sew something for my Angel until she arrives. I was under the false impression I already sewed enoug stuff for my KDF that I can just give her some of these clothes until I figure out her style. So thanks for the reminder that not all MSD wear the same size. But maybe I can at least use on of the skirts.

 

My Souldoll order came the other day, so I just thought I'd drop a pic here. I did the DiM Laia HCE on the Juno body, and I just have to say, it's amaaaazing. I love everything about it, I can't stop holding her. She poses beautifully! The resin match is about 95-98%, this photo shows how the DiM resin is just a bit paler- but it won't be a problem to blush to mach.

 

My Juno that I ordered through BJDivas in March of last year finally came home on Thursday. I did her faceup last night, and she told me she wanted ginger hair and lots of freckles.

@ryuunohime yeah I think because I ordered through BJDivas it delays it compared to ordering direct or through AC. I have a Ricia I ordered in April that they still haven’t received yet. That’s ok, though. I really appreciate that I can make small layaway payments with them.

 

Hi everyone, first time posting here!! I'm thinking about getting a human version of Ricia in sandy brown (as a little sister for my RSDoll Evan; I think they would look nice together), but I don't see how to specify that I want her in that skin color? The drop-down box for the skin tones doesn't list it on her Fairy Story order page. Is it somewhere else on the site, or do I have to ask Souldoll for it specifically when I make the purchase? Thanks!!

 

I'll be adding freckles to her face and body soon- and doing her nails.

She's much better than I could have hoped for, and she's such a good stand in for my oc!

 

Souldoll unfortunately only allows orders for their tan colors during set periods, and usually for only certain lines, and Sandy Brown isn’t available at the moment. I’m sorry to be the bearer of bad news.

 

@dxgirly Agh, I went back to the site to see I just missed the cut-off for ordering her in Sandy Brown. I might get her in normal instead!! Seems like they only have their tan events once a year. Thanks for the info!!

 

They started to offer sandy brown and grey for every other order period a few years ago so it occurs more than once a year. They should be back by summertime

I thought that most companies held off on darker skin tones until it was colder out, so that the resin mixes/pours/cures better. Nice to know that Souldoll gives customers more opportunities for tan skin!!

 

Are there any jointed hands that fit the double jointed body, boy or girl? Anyone have any pictures?

Good to know. I was considering ordering a tan Juno, but I had also popped on the site just outside of the cut off time for tan orders. I'll have to keep an eye out.

 

I just wanted to drop this here because my husband was asking SoulDoll how much it would cost to ship to the US. Their cheapest option is DHL at 83.90 USD for a Kids Body.
