Yes, saw that as well. It's pretty standard for them to offer the discount events, and I love that they help on the shipping part of it as well. Now we wait to see what goodies they have for us this season! I'm so excited. Personally I'd love another fantasy skin doll (I'd love another moonlight skin release) - but I'd love for the MSD boys to get some love! Although I think I'll bet it will be mostly girls lol I have a feeling they just sell better~ Anyone else have some wishes?

Would also like some non-hooved fantasy dolls as well! Souldoll can be so creative with their resin accessories/parts! But even if not, I'm just looking forward to more Souldoll creations!

 

I'm hoping for another Linzy, myself! I might also go for the human Berry, but I still wish their were some owner pics of her floating around on social media.

 

I regret not participating in the Berry A elf event, so if she was offered again in neutral tan, she would be a must-buy for me!

If a "discontinued head event purchase" event came back though, I'd love to be able to buy a Yeonbee head or a Joelle with both heads (I am not sure why we can only get Joelle's smirk head, honestly). Hhmm... If we could buy heads, I'd love an Elf Junia, too... but that's mostly because I'd want to see if she could work well on a 1/5 scale body, like the Doll-Family H body... I guess I'm basically just Sid from Toy Story, hah. XD I do enjoy some of souldoll's newer sculpts, but... I really, really love their older sculpts, I'm really sad when so many got discontinued in 2020.

A bit too big to be on-topic for msds on DoA, but I'd also love a Riris and Calia rerelease event, although admittedly, again, I'd only really want their heads to hybridize them onto more standard msd bodies. If neutral tan was offered for vitos though, getting a tan Saka would be really tempting.

I'd absolutely love to be able to buy msd orcs, though. I am working on modifying my Souldoll Vito Yola to be an orc with my msds,

I really regretted missing out on angel persephone so much but I wasn't sold on the fantasy colour but I'm happy I waited because I got her rerelease instead the lavender resin colour is more my thing

 

does anyone who owns minifees and souldolls know what souldoll resin colour matches fairyland beautiful white resin colour? I have an incoming Minifee head that I want to hybridize on the double girl body but I can't seem to find info on fairyland matching BW resin with souldoll, only normal skin
hoping someone could help me out with matching

 

Truthfully... it might really depend on the year. Souldoll Old White would probably be an okay match, depending on how much (if at all) the piece has yellowed, but for awhile there, Souldoll New White was a light pinkish color, and I think it's since gone back to being a more snowy-white color if some pictures like Angeline's C.A.D is any indication. Hopefully someone else can provide some color comparisons, but as long as you are okay with color matching, at least that will always be an option? I do have an Old White souldoll head but I don't have any Fairyland WS resin to compare it to.

 

Hi everyone! So sorry if this is not the place to ask (and if there's an available resource somewhere else, please let me know ) but I just wanted to check if there are any stores carrying pants and clothes that would fit the Soulkid N.L. boys? I've been inactive in the hobby for 5+ years and have three Soulkids (1 old boy body and 2 N.L.) who badly need a wardrobe refresh. Are they still as difficult to find clothes for as before?

 

I just checked some more ref picks and it seems their new white is def more of a off-white compared to the bright white of fairyland But I am curious if I can order Angelines resin colour for the body... I might email souldoll about it in the future as I dont have the money to buy the body right away lol

 

Does anyone have a recent Soulkid boy who could take a head circumference? I'm looking at hybriding an old DIM Ace boy onto a Soulkid boy body and I can't find a head circumference anywhere! I need to know if it will work proportion wise. Thanks in advance!

 

Hello! I'm away from home right now so I can't take measurements but my Soulkid boys wear 6-7" wigs. Also, if it helps any, I used to have a DiM Sergei (left) and I found a picture of his head next to my Souldoll Issac (right):



Soulkid body's shoulder is 10.5cm and D.I.M.'s is 10cm so it might still work out proportion-wise but I'm not 100% sure. I hope I'm able to help a little though. Good luck!

Edit: Sorry, I just realized you said recent Soulkid. Issac is from 2012 and came with an N.L. body.

 

I don't have boy bodies so take my response with a grain of salt, but I recently acquired an N.L (girl) body and pants made for minifee surprisingly fit (from the hips that is, soulkid legs are longer). Tops would be less of a problem and Etsy has a lot of minifee options to look into.

 

Lots of questions about Soulkid boys. Let's see if I can help out a bit :

They can mostly share clothes with Luts MDF. As long as it's not skin tight and inelastic. But Luts' own clothing for example is always a bit loose for the bodies they are meant for so they fit well on Soulkid boys. I also got an outfit for Charmdoll 45cm boy II that fits. Nowadays 45cm has gotten a lot more common for 1/4 boys so it's gotten easier I'd say.

Just measured Vivaan's head circumference and it's 17.2 cm. He wears 6-7'' wigs.

@kanis04 Thanks so much for your help! It's nice to see another Sergei, even though you don't have him any more. I have one, currently on a DIM girl body. The head had a lot of damage to the eyewells, and I've repaired it several times over the years, so I wasn't really sure how close it was to the original. And I couldn't find a picture anywhere! So your picture is a help on a lot of levels!

@laquaza Oh, this is such a relief to hear honestly! I love my tall boys but finding pants and clothes for them was always a pain point. I have way too many clothes that aren't really in their style because I would buy whatever could possibly fit without looking too small/short. The Luts site seems to have limited choices in MDF clothes, but it's great to know they fit and I can go through the MDF thread to see what else they are wearing. Thank you so much!

And your boy is super lovely. What's his name? Is he in sandy brown skin or a different skin tone? I have a Sandy Brown Shaun myself (the very first N.L. boy, iirc) and his skin tone is still so beautiful after 9 years.

 

Just wanted to check in - has anyone who ordered Millie (I think her order period was in April) received her yet? Or even just a shipping notice?

 

@Aurify , I know at least one Millie was delivered because there was a NS human Millie on eBay for sale last I checked. But I haven't seen any true owner photos of anyone else's Millie.

 

@Aurify I have yet to receive my notice. I did order the lavender skin, so maybe that takes a bit longer to make?

 

Ooh, thanks for the tip - I just checked Ebay and she's still there. I'm happy to see the sculpt looks great in the normal skintone, though I'm still dyiiiiiing to see her with a company faceup. I wonder if the one on Ebay was one of the extras SoulDoll was selling via Instagram the other month?

Their estimate for me was 17 weeks, and it's only been 11. I know I need to be patient, but I just want her home so badly! A friend brought her SoulDoll to a doll meetup a little while ago, which was my first time actually getting see/hold to a SD body in person. The body is so beautiful in person (feminine and mature), and I really like how it poses too (possibly even better than my MNFs? I need my own to come home so I can do an in-depth comparison).

 

Just out of curiosity, does anyone have any idea what current wait times have been like for basic dolls? I ordered an NS Ricia in the middle of July (so it's now been 16 weeks) with no word yet. Their website says 12 weeks, and I paid in full when I ordered, so production should have started relatively quickly. I'm considering emailing Souldoll soon to ask about it.

 

I've been staring at Angeline bc I think she could be a really good addition to my potential msd collection, do the girl kid dolls fit typical MSD clothes or do I need to suffer?

 

They fit mature/slim 1/4 clothes but do note that the thighs on the new double body are kind of thick and minifee pants, for instance, do not go over those. Shoes are same as minifee and similar, dresses and tops should be easy to find, too.

Does anyone happen to know Willow's head circumference? I can't seem to find head sizes on any of the kid line on the site

 

I have a Willow! I measured and her head is 16cm.

 

As much as I think it was a good idea for SoulDoll to halt faceups/discontinue certain bodies/ etc., to give them some time to catch up on orders, I have to admit I miss seeing their announcements for new releases! It's been almost 2 months since they suspended certain services. I hope they're close to being caught up. (My fullset doll ordered in Sept has yet to ship).

 

I agree I was just actually looking at their instagram to see if they announced any new releases but sadly not.. maybe its a good thing as I'm kinda broke rn lol but I'm hungry for more CAD dolls from them to oogle at

Yes I ordered her directly from Souldoll. I finished my layaway in April last year and they forgot to ship her to me until recently. I know they're currently behind but I don't think my wait was normal. The outfit was an apology gift.

I found out because a few days ago they emailed me to ask if I'd received my order. They'd found it in their holding room and realized they'd made a mistake.

I just also really want to order soul doll boy, but still thinking if it s better to order from their site directly, or use Alice's Collection, or Denver doll. Probably it s not a big difference in a waiting time then.

I promised to post pics of the new lavender skin, but to be honest, I can't make my phone take decent pics of it, and the colours are wildly different on various screens / monitors, so I'm not particularly confident as to whether or not is this photo particularly useful...



The one on the left is Elfin in coral purple, and on the right we have Linzy in p.lavender blue. Both are very similar, cool and rich purples, coral purple is a semi shade darker and ever so slightly less saturated, p.lavender blue is lighter and more saturated, but by a miniscule margin. They're both very beautiful!

 

Gosh I just love purple resin so much (even though it eventually fades to like a light greyish purple usually), I can't wait to get mine They look absolutely gorgeous.

I'm crossing my fingers mine will ship any day now as they told me the updated estimate was end of Feb last time I asked.

I'm really regretting not getting the Angel Persephone in lavender too, but I know I shouldn't and don't need her.

I can't be sure, but it might take longer if the package has to ship first to Denver Doll and then to you instead of directly from Souldoll. However, last I inquired about it, shipping was significantly cheaper ordering from Denver Doll than from Souldoll. (I didn't do it though, because Souldoll's event discounts weren't available through Denver Doll.)

I'm pretty sure Alice told me when I emailed about it that you still have to pay Souldoll's shipping even ordering through Alice, since it's still shipping directly from Korea... (in fact, I seem to remember Alice quoting me around $112 for shipping a Souldoll Vito boy. I'm sure shipping costs have fluctuated since then though, so I don't know what it would cost now.)

 

Ah yeah, I went to check now and indeed there's a note that says "Soul Doll shipping cost has been significantly increased due to pandemic impact, please contact us to check shipping cost before placing order." and dolls will ship directly from Korea to the recipient. Bummer! Shipping from Korea is always so expensive even for small stuff. Thanks for correcting me!

@Dhaena yes, this resin color was a limited one for Souldoll's summer event (and I think one event before that, but I can't remember).

@neon_jellyfish : Thank you so much for the picture!!! It's definitely hard to tell the differences between all their lavender resins... I have the Serenity resin from the Charlotte Tarot release, and the Baby Pink Lavender Gray resin... and there's very minute color differences that are hard to capture on camera. So glad to see a little Elfin mermaid girl... I have only seen 1 or 2 of them online after their release!

@Dybbuk glad you liked it! The difference really is miniscule, yet somehow I feel like if they release another one, I'll give in and get another lavender beauty. Elfin is such a precious doll. I fell in love with her as soon as I saw her, and she turned my doll budgeting plans upside down, but it was more than worth it!

 

I emailed souldoll to ask what their shipping estimate would be for angel Persephone and they said she'd be finished around mid April! so just an fyi for anyone else who ordered her!
I got her with a faceup and in p. lavender so might make mine take longer than anyone who didn't get those choices

 

Are they from the same p.lavender event where they released Kyron?

 

No, this was the 2023 summer event, and the event sculpts were Linzy and Aspyn.

Edit: The girl with translucent hands is from 2022 summer event, and she is in coral purple, which is slightly different, but not to a degree that could be captured with my phone and my skills.

 

No problem! Also, if you want to save on shipping costs and don't mind stringing your own dolls, I would encourage you to ask Souldoll if they'd be willing to ship your doll unstrung. My sister saved quite a bit of money on shipping this way recently.

Or, if you live in the USA, it still might be worth inquiring from Denver Doll about their shipping prices and time frame for orders. It could be that the money saved on shipping could be worth a delay. I tried but couldn't locate the emails I exchanged with Denver Doll to be able to verify that event discounts aren't available when ordering through them, so now I wonder if perhaps I was confusing them with BJDivas lol. So this might be worth inquiring about as well!

 

Hi, Lizzie, thank you very much for your help! I m not so good in stringing, never did it before, but for people who can it s a really good option. You are so lucky to have sister in same hobby, I think it s really nice!
I live in Europe, Germany, but ordered from Denver Doll several times, it was more expensive for me, but I liked that they ship fast, save and I never had any problems. And also every time I wanted to order, I was not sure how fast its post company, and if I will understand everything there, somehow was more difficult to understand order system, than on the Denver site. But costs are higher, than to order directly from company. Also on SoulDoll I do not understand discount- coupons system, how to use them to get discount. But It s all little things, when I ll order, I ll just will write letter and ask direct there, how to do it. Anyway I have time a little bit more, cos I am saving for this doll, so need month probably more to organize everything before order.
