Just a quick phone pic of my guy from the Free Choice Event! He arrived today and I cannot wait to send him off to get his faceup because I’m dying to get him all put together once his wig and eyes come. ❤️

He’s a little loosely strung and he’s quite top heavy in my opinion but oh my god the body is so pretty I really don’t care, LOL!

 

It has been years SOOM Idealian became a grail for me. It was so hard to save up so much money but hey, I have decided I will buy next Idealian boy company announced no matter what..
Now I have my Edgar purchased, and he is so tender and beautiful!
I think of him getting to me nearly every hour now I guess he will arrive in winter and oh what a happy holiday that would be!

Got the shipping confirmation for my Free Choice Event Zak about a half hour ago!

For reference my order date was 29 Dec, put on a 4-part layaway that was paid off early on 19 Feb. i kinda lost track of the business days but i'm pretty confident it's within the 100-day-since-initial-order-date window cuz i remember estimating that cap to be in late May, if i counted the applicable holidays right.

 

I purchased the Soom beccia sweets shine on a 3 month layaway and just placed an order for the Cheshire in light violet This is my first time getting Soom dolls straight from them and not from the second hand market. Hoping they come by the end of the summer or so

 

My Pa-an shipped! I'm so excited. Sadly she doesn't have any of her own clothes because one of the things didn't ship but I found a replacement so that'll be sent out soon.

For now she'll get to wear Oliver's sailor suit.

 

Just ordered my first Soom doll after years looking at their beautiful fantasy characters, when I saw LG Cheshire limited release I jumped on it! (Borrowed allowance into next year and won't be buying dolls for a while but I don't care!!) A grail for me, I'm so happy!! Just getting surprise head, light violet fullset.

My Pa-an arrived today, which is wild considering she shipped out on the 26th, I wasn't expecting she'd arrive until the end of the week at best.

She has her own outfit arriving, a witch outfit, but there's a delay because the original one never shipped... I saw these eyes on sale and just had to design the whole thing around them hahaha. She's like one of those people who really love halloween and dress all spooky but also one of the kindest people you'll meet.

Her name is Carina, here she is! (Borrowing Oliver's sailor outfit)

I believe this is within my 100 day because if i calculated right 100 days would fall somewhere in June.

 

Congrats on the new arrivals and shipping notices everyone!! I paid off my Heliot mid May, so I suspect he should ship around the end of September.

 

For those of us who have been waiting for Beryl, she should be released on June 23, 2022!

She has been removed from the June schedule. Maybe we will see her in July.

The Varo baby dragon was too cute. First Soom I'll have ordered.

 

I ordered the long-awaited honey&bunny with rose pink skin the other day and I look forward to his arrival.

 

Just passed the 55 day mark on Edgar since he was released and I bought him! Over half the wait is over. My 100th day will be July 30th. But I am hoping he ships a bit earlier to arrive on/near my bday the week before.

 

Been a very long time since I was in a waiting room ^.^ Especially a soom one ^.^ Half my dolls are soom xD But I just order a baby dragon and I'm super hyped ^.^ I've not order anything from Soom this small before and I've never seen 1 in RL! Cant wait to see how tiny he is

Shipping notice today for my Soom LG Cheshire! Quicker than I had expected. A month earlier than the business day limit. He will sadly be naked as I have nothing prepared for him, but that's ok, I can just do the body blushing.

I'm still waiting on a shipping notice for my Heliot, who I ordered on April 22nd and paid off May 18th. I imagine it's gonna cut it really really close to the 100 days after completing the last payment...

Seeing shipping notices for Cheshires and Heliots gives me hope that my bunnies will ship soon! I’m so curious to see the rose pink resin in person so I can compare to the baby pink of my Gretel.

My Cheshire arrived on the 18th. I’m currently trying to figure out how how to put the magnets in his headcap. All the other parts were fine as there’s just the one magnet. Any tips from other Soom collectors?

@calalillith Congrats! I'm joining the waiting room as well as I just ordered Glati. I love that resin color. Did you get the fantasy parts?

I got human version with a romantic head, no faceup/blushing. Going to make her into one of my OCs Susu who is a Jiangshi. But excited to see others get the lil hooves and horns. I'm so happy Soom did a re-run. I can only hope for a re-run of Skoll/Hati this year too.

 

@RebelViva I did! I got everything except the romantic head. Beryl has been a long-standing grail of mine, and I could have when I realized I missed the recent order period for her so when I saw the Glot/Glati I just glommed on immediately.

This is such a cute head and the dreaming was a close call for me I hope she works for your character and I can’t wait to see pics of her

I finished up my Soom Heliot’s Faceup and his new wig arrived this past week and I absolutely love how he looks.


I’m not going to blush his hooves as I don’t want to deal with the upkeep and chipping… if I could airbrush I would do that, but I am set in my pastel blushing ways XD

 

I haven't had a new Soom doll since... forever! How do you guys like the new SG boy body? I have a Breccia head on the way and am looking for a male body for him and was wondering if they've improved the male body since 2012!

 

Just got my shipping number! From Jun 11 to Sept 7, not bad.

 

It's been quite a while since I've ordered a Soom doll! Glot/Glati have been one of my teenie grails, so I ordered a fantasy set one in purple! I'm currently undecided on their gender and aesthetic at the moment, but so excited to have a new fantasy baby on the way soon. Now my wallet is slowly saving and waiting for an Amber rerelease (or the Amber/Heliot mashup rerelease).

 

I made my last payment on the 13th of last month.
Today I got a shipping notification, maybe that will be available next week.

 

Any idea on what the ave wait time is with Soom for things other then dolls?
I got some very needed doll eyes for a good number of my resin army, but it's been a long while since I ordered anything from Soom, so very out of the loop for wait times.

 

If they're not tied in with a limited release, you should see a shipping notice pretty quickly.

When I was contemplating finally getting into the hobby, Beryl was the doll of the month. I splurged on her, getting the full set and face-ups included along with the outfit and both pairs of special eyes... and opening a huge rabbit hole for me to dive into. The last layaway payment for her was paid today. Maybe by the time she gets delivered she can be my Christmas present!

I didn’t post here when I made the order, but for those tracking which dolls have started to ship, I got a notice for my Chalco today! Layaway, but I paid it off really early.

This is actually my second time buying one. The first time he was only available on a fantasy body, and I didn’t get along with it so I eventually sold him, but I’ve always loved the face sculpt, so he’s coming home again.

 

Aaahhh Soom got me again with their newest Petit Gem. Waiting for a little mango Ranho!

 

My draginkin shipped! I hate that tracking progression doesn't update over the weekend xD I've never wanted my weekend to end so badly! Is he on the plane? Is he in the UK yet?!

Has anyone happened to spot any of the violet Beryls in the wild yet?? I finished my layaway at the end of September and I'm getting SO antsy for her to come home. She had been my grail for over a decade!
