Actually...they are EXACTLY the same height. I was thinking that as well so I measured them. Except one has longer legs and the other has a longer neck.

 

I'm excited to see the breccia! I wonder what kind of fantasy parts she'll have.. and what her ears are gonna look like 'w'

I've finally made the decision to get my grail, Dia, but trying to find some info about him was proving a bit hard so wondering if anyone could help me out? I've been trying to look at Soom's Q&A but need a bit more clarity. I have a bjd girl that i'd like my Dia to be taller than (Shes 65cm) and i believe he is to so was thinking of putting him on s bigger Soom - i know now i can't do that since there is a big jump, but is there any other company that i could put that head on that is slightly taller but matches the NS?

Breccia's pictures are up! A little surprised she's cream white only since the other releases of this style had other options.

I also really wish they could show clear pictures of her outfit, I can barely make out any details, Soom's photos are way too super dark for me lately ;_; There doesn't even seem to be a full body front shot of it at all. She does look oh so very beautiful though. My love. Please show up in a future FCE when I have money and can get you in bronze....

 

Oookay, after the rest of the photos I completely change my mind and go from loving her to not liking her at all X''D Definitely not my cup of tea, though I'm glad since I really need to save now and not buy any non-planned dolls. Her face seems more like a male SG to me, I think it's the nose that does it for me... It would've been great if they had offered a special skin color as well, many people seemed to be interested in grey/tan especially :/ I love the resin heels, horns and the outfit, though I agree with Renarys that they didn't show good pictures of it...

I do look forward to seeing some owner pictures, especially with custom faceups, since once again I don't think this default does the sculpt justice ^^;

The Supergem has a 10.5 cm neck circumference so you have to look for necks around that size.

Dollstown 73.1cm, 10.85cm neck (match with Dollclans NS)
Dream of Doll 70cm, 10.3cm neck
Granado 68cm Long Leg Body, 10.5cm neck
LUTS SSDF 70.5cm, 10.5cm neck (a shade lighter and yellower)
Popodoll 70cm male, 10.5cm neck (matched with DollClans NS)

Ringdoll 72cm RGMBody-2, 10.5cm neck

Soom's NS used to be yellower, now it is pinker. I believe the Dia I got in 2013 was one of the last batches in that color coz all the other Sooms I have is in their new pink resin.
It might be easier for you to get a body you like and just blush it to match.
Or use a company that do resin matching, Ringdoll and Impldoll comes to mind.

I don't know if this is of any help to you but a friend of mine has a Soom male head on an Iplehouse SID male body and that works well. I don't know if she did any modifications to get it to fit. Here:

Thank you yuan_mdx & LyanneNZ I've never done a hybrid before and honestly it scares me quite a bit. I'd rather just buy the Dia boy straight from Soom but hes all sold out and im not sure if they would ever bring him back? T___T

 

OH...you can buy Dia boy anytime you want because the Dia mold is not limited. I'm sure there's a link somewhere in these threads but it would be easier to ask Soom directly. Go on their Q&A and tell them you want to purchase Dia on a male body. Make sure you tell them whether you want Dia on a new SG body or the old SG body...and I believe you can also purchase jointed hands with them.

Ah IC. Then you might have to wait for the X-mas kits at the end of the year. Dia has been one of their most popular sculpts so it wouldn't make sense for them not to offer the normal Dia during Xmas. I'm thinking they'll offer both male and female versions, and both the normal head and romantic heads during X-mas. If not, bug them. Get lots of people to bug them and when they feel there is enough interest, and worth the money to break out a mold, they'll do it.

Funny how some think Breccia looks more like a male doll. For me she's the first female doll of Soom that looks like a damn beautiful woman while many of Soom's 1/3 girls so far have been so not for my taste. Crazy how drastically different we see things

Anyway, does anyone know what clothes fit her? I never had super gem of Soom. Would Luts senior delf clothes fit her? Or Nine9style SD16 or Dollheart SD16 girl outfits. Or any other recommendations. I's just worried I'd have a hard time finding clothing for her.

 

Not a long time ago I posted somewhere link to male Dia, but now it's says sold out, so strange. Soom does have sometimes strange ideas.

And about Breccia - I find it a bit strange that there is no gray skin for her... I was almost sure gray will be. Maybe they are tired of doing multiple colors or something. Well, it's better that way for me, because I already had an idea what to do with that grey Breccia, what clothes she might need and what name XP But it was for gray, not white. I still think she's nice. But I'm hoping to see Vesuvia one day, so yeah, I should really safe some $$$!

 

So safe from this one, even tho I do love her head with romantic eyes, but I was hoping to see the outfit for sale seperately. Oh well, my Bronze Cuprit will have to stay in the one outfit for now.

 

I am glad I am safe from this Breccia. I am dissapointed with her fangs I feel they look like ogre fangs @_@ it also really bothers me that she doesn't have top teeth which makes it look like she has no teeth! I probably just really like dream ripper heliot and was hoping for a female version of that tho. Also wish her fantasy parts were a bit more interesting '3' but ya it's a good thing I'm not interested ><!

 

I fell so hard for Breccia but I don't like her body, it's too tall for me. *cries I'm in such a dilemma right now..

 

ShaySugar the SD16 clothes are very close in size, so as long as there is a little stretch and they are not super tight that is the size to look for. There are a few Etsy sellers, Dorset is my favorite, who sew specifically for Super Gems, there is Nalisinko for fancy things, Lelahel, and on ebay, beachgirlnikita though I think she is on vacation until July. Also check the MP clothing section for the old Soom sets.

Breccia was perfect until she was released in cream white skin... I am so disappointed! Ah well, I guess that's a good thing for my wallet!

 

And as if Breccia wasn't already enough for everyone's wallets, Soom will soon release another Super Gem, Scutum... XD Looks like it's going to be a Super Gem male (?) that looks a lot like ID Hyperon??

 

Looks like they're offering Breccia's horns separately.

The new promo does look like a mini-Hyperon. This is bad. Let's see when they put up more photos.

Scutum does look like Hyperon, I wonder what skin tone he will have since I cannot rely on Soom promo pics. At least I did order Breccia's outfit for my Cuprit, she will be happy to wear something seductive.

 

Oh no Scutum (what a name, that sounds hilarious XD) looks promising.. And I'm 99% sure he's Megagem.. The chest looks rough and muscular even though the picture is very dark.. I can see some promising shadows.. Ugh if he's fearing furry hood I'm in trouble as I really want one but I'm also interested to see that boy too if there's Hyperon's possible brother His nose looks sharp and eyes are R. but those lips aren't my taste so I think I'm safe.. + I've never heard of Lady Rose/white whatever.. Is that a story/fairytale ? *googling* Yeah I haven't been a big fan of old fairy tales..

Breccia is not for me but I'm hoping to see some other old MD ladies with fangs in the future.. I hope they'll consider some of my MD girls demon/vampire character suggestions hehe~

 

Scutum = "shield". (But yes, it sounds bad if you don't read Latin. )

I'm guessing this is the prince/bear from Snow White, Rose Red (to go with the kitty-girl). It would be nice if Soom didn't go so arty on the photos so we could see better.

 

This is a weird question but does anyone happen to know if there are some agencies or some people who can buy a soom full set and then later sell it to you ? I can't stand the idea of never getting Soom Breccia or maybe I just have to count on MP luck or japan.yahoo. Darn Soom.

Did anyone order Breccia to themselves yet? - if planning to do so. Or you guys waiting rather for Scutum? He sure looks promising.

 

Soom has no dealers. They do have layaway that you can use to purchase Breccia if money is tight for you, but since the previous English-speaking representative in their Q&A has left, most buyers have had problems communicating with the company, so you might not be able to be granted an extended layaway plan if you ask them.

 

I think Breccia is pretty, but in some ways she could be a boy with her face...does that sound weird? And Scutum looks interesting but if he is a MegaGem I'm safe. I was not happy when I had my mega at all. Shay, someone ordered a Breccia, I saw it in the waiting room.

That's great news Earthbound_Angel! Yeah, Breccia might look like a male doll when you imagine her with a male body. But she still makes a helluva gorgeous woman too

 

I had no idea the English translator left, what is the count now for them? How sad for the company.

 

I am seriously contemplating on buying the Breccia, if I can get some money in before the ordering time is up, or if I don't end up wanting the male MD they are going to have coming out soon.

When do you think they will list the price and the rest of the pictures for the April MD - Scutum: Lady Rose?

 

I think the English Q and A is much better now--in fact I even got an update when my Northerly Breeze was delayed, and he was shipped exactly when they said he would be. And tada here is the Bunny Man himself!



I am so pleased with his faceup, they did a wonderful job. He was a kit and they packed him really well, with an interior box. So happy!

Yeah but you can still get Breccia in gray or white in the free choise event if you just get her different body. Right?
If gray is offered of course, but CW for sure.

ShaySugar he's a re-issue of the White Rabbit (it even says White Rabbit inside his head). I think he's a Jackalope now, which is a jackrabbit-antelope hybrid that is a legendary creature of the American West. Thank you too!
