Anyone experienced with soom have any idea how long itll take me to get my doll?

 

My sister and I picked up one each - I'm really in love. Found a few other images today on Instragram while wondering if anyone was saying anything. I can't wait to see what else they do in this size. I'm outta room or cash for another large SOOM, but these! These will probably get me in trouble.

 

I got the cream white skin and normal head, but nothing else. I hope I don't regret not getting anything else for her.

I just bought a plane ticket you can't do this to me... Maybe if I'm lucky one will pop up on the marketplace in a few months/years ;w;

Well it ends on the 6th of next month so while I do have one more paycheck between then and now, that would completely eat up the whole thing. I could add some extra stuff to get a subtotal of $300 for layaway, but I'm moving into a college dorm come late august so I'm worried about the timing for that...
In the end I guess I could order one come this Friday (when I get paid) but I'd probably feel guilty about spending my whole paycheck twice in a row >w>;

I ordered one! She looks just like a chibi version of my character, Ai-Zen, so I am going to make Ondiin into her. I ordered her blank in cream white so I can do the faceup and blushing myself. My Ai-Zen looks like this: Ai-Zen Painting
I didn't draw her wings in this painting but she has large dragon wings, so Ondiin is a perfect fit.

 

@Polkavata Buffalo, NY! I have family up there and I also used to live there (for like 11 years). My mom would always take my friends and I up to Anime North (and doll north too, of course) and I wasn't about to let being a thousand miles away ruin our tradition. So the past couple years I've flown up for a week or two around the con.
I always feel really guilty about big purchases. I'm pretty good at controlling my impulses most of the time because of it. I really should be saving up for my college classes >w>;

 

Anyone know how long soom usually takes to get the doll to you?

 

Around 4-5 months seems to be the general consensus, from what I've seen from poking around here and on facebook. This is my first Soom order so I'm going off of what other people has asked and answered.

Oh wow. That is a real cutie! Once they arrive, I hope to see lots of photos of everyone's little Ondiins!

 

Oh my gosh I'm so tempted! They are adorable! I cannot WAIT to see what else they sculpt for this size!

 

I'm really excited, I've never had a doll smaller than 20cm (and they're all big headed anthros) since I'm a bit worried about them being too small, but she's so cool and chunky that I thought she would be perfect as my first really tiny tiny (and if I don't like her, she'll go to my mum, who likes her too). I got her in cream white with the open eye head.
I hope they're popular enough for Soom to do more with this line, it seems like a really cool idea.

 

@Hyperion I have one of the 12cm dearmine dolls and I absolutely ADORE him. He's perfectly pocket sized and it makes me want to carry him everywhere~ Can't quite stand on his own, but Ondiin comes with magnetic feet and a metal stand (absolutely genius idea) so I don't think you'd have that problem.
It really is quite the endearing size for an anthro doll.

 

@AutumnWyvern I adore the little dearmine dolls, but the worry about small dolls feeling to fragile has stopped me from getting one, Ondiin might open up a whole new world for me ^_^
I'm really excited to see how strong the magnetic feet are, I have dreams of sticking her to the fridge or other magnetic surfaces to freak people out :P

 

I suppose if the magnets aren't that strong it wouldn't be too hard to replace them? Though I suppose that depends on what glue is keeping the magnets in place to begin with!
I still haven't decided on getting one now or try and wait, and I know I'm running out of time haha...

 

I gotta chime in, I just love the body sculpt on this tiny. Anyone considering a hybrid?

 

I purchased one in each color, and together with a friend, so we ordered 2ws and 2ns.

So cute! I'm very happy - I am sure my heart melted a little when I unwrapped her from her tiny tiny pillow. I do have to say: Be careful when you glue her magnets in - I used far too much super glue and when I put the tiny tiny magnets in I had over-flow. I now I have three fingers covered in super glue - but she's fine! The holes in her head were just perfectly drilled to fit the magnets and I was just too liberal with the glue. Lesson learned!

I hope they make more like her/these 'cause I'm in love! and want, like, a dozen more... or at least one more (I love doll pairs! I blame SOOM photos - they look so cute together!!) ;3

Do you hace a pukipuki to compare it to perhaps? :3
I have a hard time to get a feel of it's size from the measurements, as it seems to be a bit taller than a pukipuki but with wider hips, and a smaller chest than a realpuki... And the huge eyesize compared to a pukipuki x'D

 

Oh, Nii-san - I'm so sorry, I don't. I just have larger SOOMs and a small DZ event doll.. I do have my hand though!
