Soom Faery Legend discussion part 3

So exciting - but of course the problem is that I want at least half a dozen of the faeries!

I'd love it it people could post lots of owner photos, especially of the older faeries to help other people decide. I'm particularly interested in Metato, Kremer and Auber in the males and in Idrial, Rose and Absynthe in the females, so I'd love to see photos of them

My Briony got a new dress this weekend.



I didn't know Soom could replace parts!!
I'm so gonna ask for her leaf wings!

 

Fingers crossed it's only girls for the first round and they do a boys later on... worst time for this, Soom! Right before SDCC, augh. (It's super cool they're doing an FCE,though!)

Oh man, I've been waiting on a Faery FCE! If they release Azur I am going to be in so much trouble.

 

Damn, worst timing ever now that I'm between jobs... *wrings hands* I'd love to get a Kremer... Argh!

I wonder what Kremer would look like in normal skin, I have him in his original cream white and it has yellowed over time, does anyone know how to get his wing ears to stay on? Do I have to glue them on?

 

I haven't ordered any doll from Soom before but...Faery Free Choice Event this time seems really interesting. Now I'm waiting for new notice from company...

 

If human feet are included and other skin options are available I'm done!! *saves up pennies*

Though they did do an exception with Topaz and sent her with the human feet too, since unlike all the dolls with hooves, paws, claws, etc. she can't stand with her faery feet. I could imagine they'd do the same with the faeries too.

 

A Fairy Legend FCE?! Maybe it's a good thing the Lume doll I wanted sold. I wonder whether they will do boys or girls first? I too hope they come with human feet or have human feet as an option. Azur originally came with human feet or a tail.

Are FCE dolls usually cheaper because of lack of human bits? 'Cause I'm not interested in human bits either... in fact I sold my human head and the legs are packed some where though I doubt they'd sell haha

 

During a FCE event should be a good time to sell human parts!

 

Oh my, that's true. That is, if they decide to sell them without. Though mine's grey skin so I dunno. Can't wait for details!!

I'm tempted for a Rose in green skin, though, but I'll wait until Dolls&Party in Barcelona is over next July 5th. If I do well and sell enough I may consider getting her :P

I still hope the event is an success though and that alot of people, who waited so long for this, get what they wanted.

 

Soom why do you do this to me I've been dying for a green skinned girl to hybridise my Cylin faery parts onto, but I totally wasn't expecting Soom to include green skin as an option with this event! I don't have any use for any of the other girls' fantasy parts, which means finding a way to bring home just the human parts of a green Mixi is going to be a chore...

On the plus side, I'm glad it's starting to look like FCEs include all Soom's 'natural' skin tones (CW/NS/Bronze) by default. I always thought it was a bit silly that their early events didn't allow CW.

 

I've resisted getting Faery dolls for so long but I've always regretted not getting Rose. A green skinned Rose would be lovely ... and maybe a bronze Idrial.

mmm I want Aenigma's body but is the most expensive -_-

 

I love my Aenigma. She's totally worth the price. (I paid a lot more for her because she was second hand, and I really wanted the magenta skin and fullset) I do wonder why she's more expensive though, she doesn't have transparent legs or anything o.o

 

Aw darn, no male dolls in this FCE. Well, I hope that this is a success and that they do another FCE with male dolls and that they offer red skin!

This! I have my girl but I need a boy... Bronze or seinna with the willow parts please! hehe. But it is kinda weird Aenigma is more expensive.

I always loved Mixi's feet. And I SO WANT THE FLUTE. SOOM, I wish you'd sell just the flute T_T

 

I am relieved that Asis isn't included or the bee sprite. I'd have a hard time resisting those. Still waiting on hearing from Soom about replacing my Mixi wings. Come on Q+A board....

I o love that light green resin included. How awesome would Nenad look with green skin? I already have her in CW and love her but she would be amazing in green.

maybe if enough people share their concern about that human legs are not included and the fact that they wont be able to stand in the faery feets. maybe soom then will have second thoughts and will include or offer them...


Is there nobody here who is found of Mixi???

 

Very fragile... One of mine got broken when I was going to a doll meet, even though I had packed it in bubblewrapper and added soft pillows for extra cover I think they're the most fragile faery wings, I'm always afraid to take pictures of my Haidi since I fear her wings might get broken even more if she falls on her back from standing position...

I just wrote a message to Soom about this, wondering what they will say. I said that there are other people on DoA who seem not happy about the lack of human feet.

I also asked if they'd consider adding Asis to the options >.< Though I think that's unlikely, but one can always try...

Like everyone else xD Id love to grab one of these girls but since she would never be able to stand with those legs i think ill pass =/

 

I sent them a message asking if it was possible to have human feet as an option....maybe if enough people ask them they will comply....probably.....hopefully

 

I pity that they have not added Absynthe in this Event...
I want Aenigma in normal and Idrial in bronze! Does anyone know quickly turns green Soom bronze skin?

 

I adore Mixi! I could only justify one fairy though and since I'm EVER so fond of bees I got her parts... and LOVE LOVE LOVE "pouty" elf ears and got Nyer... plus I thought the grey skin would compliment a bee more.

 

Mixi is my favorite of all my faerys. I love her funny little ears and her wings and feet are my favorites too. I can't wait to see all the new faerys.

I think iam going to order Nenad body for the Mixi head. Mainly because the Nenad feets are not transparant, and the most ''basic'' looking of them all.
I really want human legs :/
Only sad that Nenad wings are not the one i like the most, mixi wings or Idrial wings seems alot prettier, but its more important to me that she has nice legs.

I also wonder, because Nenad and Mixi was released with smaller breast size, and Haidi and the ones after had bigger. So i wonder if they all will have the big breast size now, or if Nenad and Mixi will still have the small.

Wasn't Haidi the only one with the bigger breast size? O.o I have Haidi, Absynthe and Nyer and out of those three Haidi is the only one with bigger bust.

Does anyone know what size wigs these girls take? Would it be a 3-4 or 4-5 inch wig? Anyone know where a good site to get the wigs from that fit well as I noticed that Soom doesn't seem to have barely anything.

I'm thinking I wan't an Idrial in that lovely bronze color~ I really do wish that human feet were an option though! I don't like the idea of my fairy only being able to sit all the time.

 

Yeah Heidi was the only one with the bigger bust. I wish it was an option though.

 

Is anyone else a little bummed that there are no new Faery outfits released with the free choice event? I'd love to get my girls some new clothes.

I'd like to see Rose's ears if anyone has one! And Nenad's wings. I'm thinking of getting either the Aenigma body or Nenad's as they're the only two without see-through feet. My human Mini Gem can barely stay upright on a stand as it is, so not having human feet might not make much of a difference.
