There are so many new beautiful fashion dolls, from the ones that I can see that are not just red "Xs." It's nice to see all the ones that can be seen; I love the whimsical creatures the most, as I collect darker themed stuff, most of the time (story wise, not necessarily aesthetically, although i do prefer darker aesthetics as well!).

I was hoping my April haul would get here soon, but it seems like it won't. I already waited way too long, and now I'll spam a wall of photos. I always do this, and yet complain I want to stop spamming, and here we are once again! Lol! DX

Finally got around to repainting my Decora Fashion Girlz Luna doll, I had a hard time photographing her with my newer cellphone, the photos turned out too dark. This one is with a crappier phone, which blurs and washes out everything, but is closer to real-life colors, IMHO:

@Enzyme amazing face up! The eyes look so real, I thought they were resin, then I saw the blank face and like….wow! I really enjoy seeing your hauls. So much interesting stuff! I need to get back to sharing pictures of my figures.

These are my Trickyman 12 guys. I buy them directly from their creator who is sadly in China. But I pay less for them through him over second hand.
They are Left to Right starting in back. Oscar, then in front, Pablo, Vincent, Claude and Marco. They are awesome and have different hands as well as hair toppers. All came dressed with well made outfits and amazing shoes. I am working on stories and if I am allowed would love to share them here.

I see a lot of activity since I last visited, my favorites are the tv doll (I've always loved this concept), and Mori Lolli Strawberry Fields--overwhelming cuteness.
I just discovered this guy and it was love at first sight, he's Ringdoll's Gabby, a Ring Pet pufferfish. But, boy did I get stuck with a tariff charge. Oh well, I would have ordered him regardless, I can't resist a unique "pet".

Good news, guys! I am back in the Nendoroid Kitbash trenches yet again and this time I am making MURDERBOT! The agender human-robot construct protagonist of the Murderbot Diaries books. I do love the new show based on it, but it's got its differences, so this will be my version of the character from the books.
It will be on a YMY23cm jointed body, with a Nendoroid head I will be customizing. If I get real wild I'm gonna do an armored version, as well as the main series version in its preferred style of clothes.

WHOA I have never seen the dark tone skinned Ellowyne before! They're both stunners! Looking very Vintage Summer in their outfits.

Here's how my latest custom is going

Murderbot is going to be a nendoroid type head on a YMY 24cm body. I bought it a bodysuit that I had to tailor down to fit it, and some Rainbow High pants in the style it prefers that only needed a little bit of a nip in at the back to fit properly. This body is a little tricky to find clothes for that are not fluffy feminine stuff for Blythe size dolls. So far I like this look. If I can find it a suitable shirt, the bodysuit might end up being made into an Armor-On Murderbot look.

 

I love how your custom is turning out so far! It’s really tempting me to get a YMY (with a nendo head) for myself! You had me at “Rainbow High pants”. Seriously though, I love RH clothes and using them to dress up a YMY seems like a lot of fun!

 

thanks very much! The clothes are pretty big on a YMY boy body but if you're a half decent tailor they can work, or just be baggy and cutely oversized. For these "Ash" doll pants, I put them on it inside out then tacked with some rough stitches up the crotch seam from down at the center upward to the back waistband, taking out a good few mm of fabric. Once off the doll I used that to guide me in where to hand sew with smaller neater stitching, and cut off the excess cloth.

I've got two repainted Disney Animators Rapunzel heads hybridded onto Volks Dwear SD BJD bodies (using an adapted Animators neck piece).


I also have a repainted Merida head on the Amooooore Doll BJD body designed sopecifially for Animators heads:


They work really well alongside the 18" articulated vinyl Fancy Nancy and Bree dolls by Jakks Pacific


And best of all - they can all wear Sasha Doll clothes (having a collection of Sashas, I have a lot of clothes dor them) despite the size difference between the dolls themselves:

@Teddy they are called Yummiland dolls. They come with lip glass that I don't use. But, the dolls themselves are so cute.

 

I've been scrolling back through this thread - so many cute dolls and figures that I wasn't aware of!

(that hair isn't ideal- too spiky- but getting short hair parts is a long slow slog of waiting for Chibi Chop Shop to have what I need, and given tariffs right now a lot of countries aren't even shipping to the US, sooooo MB will be stuck with this hair for a while.)

 

I collect nendoroids, scale figures, and funko pops! Anything Jim Henson comes home with me also don't mind the dust...

I just got these two from Yesmama Dolls in Vietnam. They were reasonably priced for a bjd and they came with everything--clothes, shoes, accessories, extra hands, hair (which appears to be attached to the headcap), and eyes (which come with a magnetic holder so there's no need for wax or putty). They're about 13-1/2cm tall.

So much cute stuff once again! I wanted to hoard some of the adorable Yummiland girls too, but sadly the lip-glosses are not vegan, so I can't even look at them now. T__T;; I sincerely wanted a "few" of those, as I loved their (MGA's) Secret Crush Minis, and the larger dolls as well (I did hoard a few of those, luckily as they didn't have animal derived anything). Oh, well. I keep forgetting to take photos of my Ugly Dolls figures. I was only able to find one, but I know I have two, because I got them on clearance from K-Mart, before the one in my tiny town closed down, so I know I had two (who knows where the other one is hiding).

I got a second GDToys GD97005 (Sesshomaru) head sculpt to repaint and customize as my fan-art version of (Castlevania) Alucard. I will have to either reroot him, re-wig him or restyle is hair. I am still not sure which one will work, but I'll probaly never get him done. SInce, I am going for Ayami Kojima's version from the OG games (not any of the other versions, which are not my cup of tea).



I also redid (cleand up earlier additive and substractive mods, and repainted) my custom 1:6 Raiden heads sculpt, that I had already heavily modified and repainted once. He's still far from perfect, but I haven't given up on making him a little closer to my ideal version of his:

Also got my third UF-Doll, a Tea Party Drink Plus Grape Grass Jelly, that I'll be keeping as a boy (I'll be modding the bust, as it is clearly not meant to be a boy's chest)

Here's my Hujoo Baby Suve (ABS) modelling an outfit I made for a birthday gift.


The bracelet is just a nail charm circle, I just cut it so I can slide it on her as a bracelet.
The star on her head is a sugar gummy like charm, I just stuck velcro on it so she can use it a hair accessory.

Changeable World dolls (cautht on ot these late so got all these second had or at vastly reduced prices once they were discontinued - whihc is why I have so many of them)

Her original silk dress disintegrated so I made her this as a replacement, adapting a reproduction pattern.

A few 32" Disney Princess Playdate dolls from Jakks Pacific (a good firt for half-scale historical costume patterns)


Sasha dolls (used to have some Sasha babies too but I'm not really a baby-doll person so sold them on and just kept the modded and rerooted "wobbler" with her straightened legs)


And rag dolls - modern, reproductions of Victorian ones...

@Teddy , love the wooden dolls. I acquired a few Hittys before I got into bjds. Was trying to take a photo of one the other day and her arm broke.
I finally got my full-size pufferfish. He's so whimsical and cute! His outfit has about half-a-dozen layers plus shoes, socks, pantaloons, scarves, jewelry, and a few things I don't even know where to put.
He has two little friends instead of one because I made a mistake in ordering, but, the more the quirkier.
