That's helpful and will get me on the search for something cute...that they/I don't need. I just went to a doll show and they had cars for sale, and that got me wanting one.

Thank you, icicle! Those rompers are vintage ones I found on Rubylane about a year ago. I have no idea what doll they were originally made for, but I took a chance on them and was so happy when they fit the Person dolls.

Thank you, aernath! That sandbox was part of an auction lot that I got a couple of years ago. It came with a Little Tikes car, swimming pool, slide, sandbox, picnic table and a few other things. These are from the Little Tikes dollhouse, which is a much larger scale than the usual 1:12. I knew the car was close in scale with Persons because I've seen others' pics of them using it, but I've been a bit slow with taking pics using most of these pieces. I'll try to include more in the future.

Those sandals I found on Etsy - check out dollb's shop for Lati Yellow size. They fit well and come in other colors, too. I may be buying a few more pairs, too - now that I have five Persons to shoe.

That is such a cute photo Cattwo, the girls look super sweet in their swimsuits and sandals and their great turtle sandbox! Perfect scale for them too.
I love their wigs, they make them even more pretty than they already are, and the colour is lovely and suits them so well. I will definitely have to keep this colour in mind for the future Thanks very much for sharing.​

Glad you found them, aernath! They have a lot of nice shoes. Their shipping can get high, if you order several - probably pays to contact them and ask if they'll reduce it for combined shipping.

It may have actually worked out that I had to hold off on big eyes 4. I still have to pay off another layaway first, but I will plan on a boy big eyes purchase next.

I was looking at that dolb on etsy, and found the link to their website where their shoe prices are cheaper, but I hadn't gotten deep enough into it to see if the shipping is cheaper as well. Plus, it seems the shoes in etsy are in stock, and the ones on the website are pre-order. But, there are more choices on the website.

 

It says that the new basics have ears!
But I noticed that they no longer seem to come with a wig.....or has that been the case for a while now?
I do think the basic makeup looks very pretty.

 

No wig, I didn't even notice that. That's kind of a bummer. Hopefully, they will keep the wigs stocked well.

I've got a query on the Q&A to ask about cheaper shipping options for the new clothes -- hopefully they'll allow something other than EMS!

 

I can't believe I forgot they had their own website! Sorry about that! I actually ordered from them directly before, but for shoes for another doll, so I guess that's why it didn't click in. My first order for the sandals went through Etsy, but I ordered a couple of pairs of the canvas shoes for my Wins Toribir (bird doll) and I ordered them directly because they didn't have one of the colors I wanted in stock on Etsy. I just checked my records and it took 16 days to receive my direct order. When I ordered through Etsy it actually took 20 days - go figure! Anyway, I just placed an order for 6 pairs on their website (some more sandals and some of those buckle shoes) and will let you know when they arrive. And yes, the shipping is lower on their website - $12 for 6 pairs as opposed to $22 through Etsy, plus the prices are better on their website, as you pointed out aernath.

The new basics are adorable! Really like the expression on the 08.

I had wondered about shipping as well. I added 2 wigs to my cart and shipping was quite expensive.

 

Ooooh this is the prettiest basic makeup yet. I don't feel so badly about missing the big 21 now. And ears?! Whoa I'm curious about when they add the other heads; my narrow 21 cat definitely still did not have ears.

(edit0: I checked and the bigeyes 21 and 4 Summer definitely had ears as well.)

 

Yay for ears!!! I was surprised when my 21 came in without. I hadn't realized they were a new thing. ^_^ My 17 has them, and I got him first.

Is it called "Registered Air Mail" in South Korea for cheaper, trackable international shipping, does anyone know?

 

[MENTION=59239]icicle[/MENTION]...there is a small airmail packet...I have shopped with TTYA lots and they charge 5-6$ it just takes awhile....usually about 10 days & once up to three weeks ( but I blame NY customs for that delay).
Their site lists it as 'International Registed Mail'. Maybe SecretDoll would agree to that?

Formydoll is based in Korea and they offer a choice between EMS and "Registered Airmail". I have used the latter and it is much cheaper.

Yes! She came last week! But I have been very bad with new dolls lately, so she has been handed over to my husband to give her back to me as a Christmas present. She is awesome! Poses great, and she came with a black wig (was really hoping for black or red so I'm a happy camper). I am really glad I ordered her when I did, because even though the big eye 21s are really cute too, I would have been sad to miss out on a regular 21.

I must confess I have secretly taken her out to play with her several times!

Oh no! I wasn't sure on this one because it was not in either a green or red box. It was just white. But I wanted to try the black Mustang. It's too small, but perfect for the Christmas tree!
So now I am making sure to look at auctions that have a ruler in them or measurements to show size. I think I see a red one that is the right size. I want the blue one, but not sure it's the right size - looks like it might actually come in both sizes! We'll see! Hoping for some more spending money soon!

I have been meaning to share a photo of Valentine in her flip flops that I made for her. They're not perfect, but Valentine seems happy with them. Valentine has also gone back to being a redhead again....I liked the fur wig but I just couldn't get used to it, I love her more in this one!

I originally collected only the SD dolls, but I thought the Person and Baby Fairies were so cute. I've gotten into tinies and with the release of the new Person dolls I am debating on ordering one. I wish I had gotten in on the 70's dolls. I love them! I am still debating on ordering, but I did check out wubbas on Amazon!

I'm confused about whether they come with ears. I thought the redesign included ears, but I only see ears on Big Eye 21. Are they just using previous pics for the others?

I have Realpukis, Pukifees, and Timp iMda tinies. How do the Person dolls compare?

Coleen, I can't answer all of your questions because I don't know about the ears, all I know is that my girl doesn't have any, she's a Person of the Past #21.
However I can show you a comparison photo that I took some time ago when I had a different Person, you may have already seen this on Flickr as it's been on there for a while....but if not, it does give you a good idea of their bodies for comparison......Left to Right: Lati Yellow, Enyo, Person 21 and Puki Fee....

The shirt fits really well, a touch short in the arms, the skirt is too wide (but looks easy to modify) the socks are perfect, the glasses too small and the shoes slightly too big but might work.

 

WaitWaitOMG! We're saving money to get a camper just like that! (r-pod) lol! Must. Find! Target, eh? I feel a trip coming on!

Speaking of... I took the boys with me this last week and a half. We went to near Branson, MO, and then to Kansas City.
Wilson got to be the lucky one to go with me into the Talking Rocks Cavern. Lots of messy photos, but one or two came out okay.
I had to hold his hair and hat on. The silicon wig cap decided that day to give up the ghost and slide like snot no matter what.
I didn't relish the idea of dropping his wig and hat onto the damp floor...

Oh, and I finally got the right sized Hallmark car! ^____^ Man, the thing is Heavy! Nice though. The pedals really turn the back wheels, and the steering wheel turns the front wheels! Nice!
But of course, I can't take photos of just one of the boys in his car, noooooo. I have to wait until the second car arrives, and then take photos of them both at the same time dontchaknow.

Well, it's back to school time here for the Persons. Miss Edna's class has expanded and she is introducing the newest student, Gwenyth. But of course, there are some distractions going on, as Gwenyth is more interested in the globe and Tempest can't seem to keep her hands off poor Penny's braids, which is getting Miss Edna's ire up. What can you do? They're Persons just being Persons.

I looked online, and none of the Targets in town have the camper. I was able to find a few on eBay, but for twice the retail price!
They say this camper is very rare and hard to find.
So I will wait for our local shops to get one in....

Target seems very hit or miss in regards to stocking things. I checked 2 Targets and in the more rural area (closest to me) there was 1 camper, 1 loft, several outfits and no furniture -- but DH scored mightily with the Star Wars Black Series figures he collects. Closer to the urban area, they had 2 campers and lofts, all the outfits and 3 sets of furniture -- but not a single Black Series box. No ballet studio anywhere and no else I know who's looking has seen one in a store either. That may be the rare one or maybe they're not even shipped out yet. Hard to tell.

I don't really trust Target's online stock lists -- I've been burned too many times with a general box lot number (Luke + Wampa, denied!). The only reliable info is calling the store and asking for a visual check. DH does that for Star Wars now since our closest store is still an hour away, and they'll usually offer to pull it and hold it at the service desk for him too.
