Thank you icicle! Yes, she's the same knees as Enid, Valentine is from 2012, so I would think just before they changed the knees. My previous two girls were those older knees too, but I couldn't remember them having a problem with their feet.

I hear that the new legs stand really well, would you agree? Are the knees the only thing that was changed or did they change anything else on the body? I love the body and am happy with the legs regardless of them being the older ones, but was just wondering about that foot! Mystery solved, thank you!

Valentine is happier today (thought maybe you'd not think so from her face!!!) because she has new shorts that I made her yesterday!!! Actually, she looks a bit 'sultry' in this photo!!!

I've gone back and forth on ordering a boy. I finally decided to go for it.... and I can't figure out how to do the layaway on their website!!

 

Your Persons look adorable in their swimwear, icicle! And your Valentine looks adorable in her new outfit, dambuster01! Thank you both for sharing your lovely pics - I really enjoyed seeing them!

 

I had trouble ...I could not register. I ended up emailing my order and personal info and was sent a PayPal invoice.
Wonder if you could do the same for layaway?
Hopefully someone that has set layaway up recently can help you.

It can be a bit confusing. First off, register an account and download the 2 or 3 payment layaway form -- it's a simple form --

Secretdoll LAYAWAY Form
Order Number:
Name & ID:
Layaway detail
1st：
2nd :
3rd：

Then make the first payment (40% of total) thru Paypal to their email -- [email protected]

After that, use the Secretdoll Q&A to notify them of payment. Copy and paste your layaway form with the 1st payment line filled out.
--Here's where it can be a bit tricky since not all the option boxes are in English. It's always best to login before you try the Q&A. Then, click 'Write' at the bottom of the list to take you to the message area. Fill in your user name and password again in the top two blank boxes. On the next row, the first box is in Korean, but if you click it, it asks you to select 'Question' or 'Layaway' -- select 'Layaway', then in the next blank box you type in your order number (title of message). Copy and paste your layaway stuff in the body, then select 'Write' again down at the bottom to post. It may ask for your password again.

You should get a confirmation thru Q&A for the payment and order. Then, just go thru the Paypal process and Q&A message for each payment, adding the new info to the form as you go.

It's not due to Valentine, dambuster01 - if anything, it just makes me want to take pics of mine even more. I hope you'll share your Persons soon as Valentine has a big enough head as it is, she's now telling me that no-one else is showing their Persons because she is so pretty and they're all jealous! And I think we have to knock that idea on the (big) head right NOW!!! Or there'll be no living with her!!

I must say it is nice to have the beach just across the street but it doesn't really make taking photos any easier because I am so shy about being seen taking photos of a doll! These photos were taken about 7.30am when the beach was almost deserted, just a few fishermen who weren't interested in looking!!! :/

Sharon, I think she may be right! I'll try and take some photos tomorrow. Two of them have never been photographed! I keep telling them it's because they are too naughty and can stay still long enough. It's actuslly because I'm rubbish at photography and hav no where nice to take photos!

 

Had to pass on the limited 70s pre-order, just had way too many dolls goin on but I'm enjoying the pic spam anyway. One of these person's will be coming home with me eventually.

Alas, no, I had to pass too. Too many birthdays and dolly commitments in July but that 04 was really tempting. Of course, I'll kick myself as soon as they start coming in but one must be an adult

I had to pass, too. I had bought two in a row earlier this year (a Cat Person and a Spring Wedding bride) and I have to be content with them. I would have liked to get a tan one, but I'm sure there will be more tan ones offered in the future, as they seem quite popular.

They're very cute! I think she must have gotten DollinStyle to create those new outfits - I have Catsy-sized Alice ones done very similar to those - https://www.flickr.com/photos/88404558@N07/8420653457/in/album-72157632628410190/. DollinStyle does a lovely job on the doll clothes they make and I know that, in the past, Elfdoll had them create special outfits just to be sold on their site, too.

 

The outfits are all so cute and I don't think they're expensive either. I love several of them, that little denim dress is really sweet but what I really LOVE are those boots she's wearing with it.....I am going to have to find out where they come from!!!! Anyone know?

In the meantime, Valentine has been trying on wigs for a friend of mine who's getting a tanned girl in the latest release, and when I tried this faux fur wig on her I was smitten! She is keeping it on for a while......I really like it on her.

Do you mean the Hallmark 'Kiddie Car' ornaments? Those are easy to find on ebay. There are two different sizes, I think. In the pukifee thread, there was some discussion about which color box fit the size better -- I'll try and find that again...

ETA: I think the ornaments in the red boxes fit Realpuki size, the green boxes are too small for RPs (and thus Persons too). Pukifee/Person size are "Kiddie Car Classics" but not the ornament size -- if this makes sense?

That looks like the Maple bob MUdoll sells - I bought that one awhile back, plus another style in that same color. It's a really pretty color!

These are my two Person 21 dolls, Penny and Gwyneth - one regular and one with narrow eyes. They are both wearing Glib mohair wigs in the "maple" color. It's a very pretty color - softer than the regular red hair. Penny is wearing the bob style and Gwyneth has a soft wave style. I've seen this color on a tan Person and it really looked great, too.

 

Oh, they make gorgeous red heads! Those are very cute rompers too.
