Thank you! I actually found it in the window of a shop selling human baby stuff, it wasn't really for sale but the lady sold it to me anyway. It's by a French doll company I believe.

 

I love ming so much！

 

A couple of the cuties are tempting, but darn, I was so hoping for a new tan Picture Person boy.

 

@aernath, I have to agree with you. While I'm tempted by Ming/Meng/Mong, I'd like to see some new Picture Persons, too. Do you suppose the company is "done" with the Picture Person Line?

 

@beamlette I really hope not! I still neeeeed another tan boy! 04 or 08....big eyes or small... And I was looking forward to more Near Persons coming out! I almost got one of those, but again, I usually just get the boys...
I had the crazies waiting for a Christmas release, and was ready to snatch up a tan boy, but....nada.

I’m still kicking myself for not trying harder to get the tan plate-spinning Circus Person — did anyone order him, I wonder; his page can’t be opened. Fortunately I did order and get the Hippie Hippy Happy tan boy.

 

Oh yes! Plate spinner was the first one I kicked myself for not getting!
I think I have been hoping he would come back around somehow...

 

Rousing this thread, with a pic of my two Secretperson 21s. On the right, Widdle Polly, an older NS I bought from another DoA member earlier last year. On the left, Petit Tancredi, from the Hippie Hippy Happy series last summer. Their names derive from their resemblance to my Volks Jo March (named Polly) and my Dollshe tan IM Hound (named Tancredi, whose character is French, and excessively proud of it).


Petit Tancredi: *singing* Mon chien a les puces...
Widdle Polly: Fat lot of good his sculpt's ears do him! Mine doesn't have ears, but I can STILL hear him -- ow!

Great photos @beamlette and @coleen ! I think I need to take some photos of my two.....I got as far as changing them out of their winter clothes, only for the weather to get chilly again....the girls are not impressed, but never got to take their photos! :/

 

Hahaha! @dambuster01 I have the same problem but the other way around: my guys are stuck in summer clothes!
But then we did not get much snow this winter, so did not miss any real winter photo ops.

@beamlette ahhh yesssss, I knew I should have gotten that little tan guy last summer! Even though I didn't have the money... Your duo are adorable!

@coleen they look so ready to hit the road! Reminds me my boys are still in the car....in their garage! lol They have been patiently waiting for an outing...

Hey guys, I'm saving up for a Ming. Can anyone tell me what clothes fit these little ones? Do Pukifee or Lati-Yellow fit? Thanks!

 

Width wise they are usually just fine if slightly big, length wise they tend to run a little short, but Lati Y and Pukifee clothes are the easiest to find and have the most makers and therefore options.

 

I'm really sad also that they don't appear to be updating or offering new Persons anymore. Have been waiting for a special 8 but guess I'll move on...

I changed my Meng into summer clothes the other day and still haven't taken any recent photos of her, poor thing. Hopefully I can rectify that over the weekend.

My Ming is home! I thought she had got lost in the mail because her tracking number wasn't updating. But she's finally home safe, and I just love her. Pictures soon!

@TreeLore, thanks for the heads-up on the new Persons limiteds! I'd begun to think Secretdoll was done forever with the Persons line. The 4 is very, very tempting, since the two I have are 21s. I still regret not getting 8 from the Circus line in 2014!

I put in my order for little disco fever number four! No clothes though. lol
I have been wanting to add to my 21 and 17 tan boys, seems like forever!

 

@aernath, I'll be vicariously enjoying your Person 4 when he arrives and you post pics! I chickened out on ordering him because I always have such difficulties with ordering on the Secretdoll website -- which is why I failed to order Circus 8, and just barely managed to successfully order Hippie hippy Happy 21 All those pop ups in Korean, and I can't figure out how to translate them

Anyhoo, congrats on starting the process to add 4 to your 21 and 17 tan boys!

 

You can easily order by just emailing them and telling them you have difficulty checking out on the site and tell them to give you the total and you can pay them directly with paypal. They seem very good and understanding.

She did a Person release not too long ago after a long break so I wouldn't give up hope even if they aren't in the next few releases.

 

Yeah, that was a long time in between the Picture Persons last time! I had begun to worry.

 

I have a person 4 coming and would like to try some glass eyes. What size works best and oval or round? I had a 21 years ago and remembered being hard to find eyes that worked well.

 

I think 12mm normal round eyes...? I will have to actually check and see. My new guy is still wearing the eyes they sent him with.

I think it would have to have the fully jointed body to be considered on topic.

 

Any new photos of these lovely girls? Also is there any thread about ming/meng/mong? I love that size. I love secretdolls in general so much. I wish they make moe baby fairies I love the super tiny ones.

Happy birthday! (When is it?) Adorable choice! That is one I keep coming back to. But I am afraid that as soon as I order a ming/meng/mong, they will release the tan 08 picture person I keep hoping for. That's just how these things go!

Found a dancing, responds to petting, doughnut-eating unicorn with a light-up (multi-colors) horn, at Target last night for just over $14!!!
My little unicorn boy - Wilfred the 17 - sits perfectly on its large back.
Laughed my a$$ off the whole way home. Gave the cashier a good laugh too.
He's also wearing a unicorn "hoodie", made for pet cats in the Wal-Mart line of My Life As dolls.

The wig is from SecretDoll, and his outfit (shirt and shorts) is from TTYA. They're on Etsy. The size is Lati Yellow. The outfits are very inexpensive and there are quite a few fun ones.
You'll quickly find it's hard to have only one of these fun little dolls!
