Hello everybody, have You seen those new pics on secretdoll's facebook? 3 adorable new heads are going to be shown this weekend Ming is to die for...

 

I have! They are awesome!
Not my jam, too realistic and little kid for me, but I love seeing new things she does pop up. Really extraordinary stuff!

 

I foresee lots of Noodle Cups in her future Congrats on a (second?) Kohina.

 

Yes! I've yet to find dolly noodle cups!

 

I am confused by those! It says new arrivals but also sold out. Were they limited offers, or are they not for sale yet? Does anyone know? They're kind of more realistic than I usually buy, either, but there's something about them...

 

They're brand new, so not For Sale just quite yet. They'll announce it when they're ready, but since the photos are up, that means it won't be too long now! Keep an eye on them. ^_^
They're a little shorter than the Persons (about 1.5cm shorter), and looks like they don't have any knee joints, so won't be on topic for DoA here.

I'm pretty certain she is a Near Person 21.... A newer sculpt. Lovely I agree.

My Near Person 21 finally got a wig so she can show her face in public! Same size as the other picture dolls, here's Pidgeon. The gapping on her eyes is annoying but I love everything else about her

I gave Pigeon a new faceup, still haven't changed her outfit-- her tiny self is so hard to dress and undress! Here she is enjoying the garden. I also ordered one of the new jointed Mings (her face looks so much like Near Person 21, I think they'll make great sisters) and she should come in mid-July if she takes about as long as Pigeon. Anyone else waiting on an MMM?

Trying out a mew mohair wig from Dollmore for my little. Awesome fit, great wig! I am impatiently waiting on a new Secretdoll, jointed Ming-- I'll post an unboxing when she gets here!

 

That wig looks pretty good! Everyone knows kids' hair is never neat and tidy. At least, not for long! lol

 

Yeah, i like that it looks messy like real kiddo hair!

Hi all,

Really stupid question () but after taking my Person 21 out of storage, I noticed the head was quite loose, is there a magnet missing? I have no idea what it is supposed to look like inside??

 

There are no stupid questions! It does look like a magnet is missing from the bottom hole, also the top magnets should be glue both into the headcap and into her head, it looks like they're stuck together right now.

 

Thanks...I am pretty clueless about stuff like this!

That's a shame about the missing magnet, do you know where I can buy a replacement from? I think I've maybe taken her out of the box once since owning her so I wonder if she arrived like that.

 

Maybe measure the hole in mm and try to find a similarly sized magnet? I'm not sure, sorry

 

The new persons are up! Three tan babies: 21, narrow eyes 21, and 17. I'm seriously considering the 21.

 

Does anyone know if there is an actual form you download for layaway on the Secretdoll website? Please ignore. Found it! Sorry.

 

I just ordered the narrow eyes person 21 from the summer special. I couldn't resist the pink hair and her perfect little festival girl look!

 

Oh gosh... if I didn't already have tan boys 17 and 21! So cute!
Going to wait until 08 or 04 come back around in tan though. Seems silly to get more of what I already have.... though it's tempting!
I need to get busy and make some bell-bottoms for my boys. lol

 

I hear ya -- I'm still looking for my grail 04 and I flinch with every new release just in case this time might be it. I do regret not getting the 04 from the last Person Summer Limiteds (broke, was I.... Alas...).

And absolutely -- those boys need some awesome bell bottoms!

 

Oh my gosh, the 21! My three girls are in their boxes and they were going to go on the MP but maybe I need to dig them out and see if I can find some love for them again!

I've just noticed that the secretdoll website doesn't have all of the persons listed. There are some missing from 2015 I think. Or at least I can't see two of my tanned girls on there.

 

The regular 21 from the 2017 summer event reminds me of the boy 21 from summer 2014 - I have always regretted missing out on that release, I thought both of those 21's were perfect!

 

@happibug, yes I think you are right. They are very similar. Is the skin darker this time round? I saw a photo of the three dolls at a recent doll show and the skin looked lovely but darker than the 2014 beach release.
On that note, I've just purchased a person 21 from The person of the past edition. I'm super excited as she was the 21 that I always coverted. That would mean that I will have 3 person 21s! I think one may have to move out!

 

@smudge, Congrats on your new 21! I keep repeating my favorite molds, 3 21's might enjoy each others' company! I don't know if these new ones are darker tan, they look that way a bit to me too. I figure she'll be here sometime in October so I'll post a pic when she arrives, the little festval girl!
