Hi there! I'm working on a SD head that I'm going to cast in resin when it will be finished. I expect it to fit 65 cm body but it fits good 70 cm body either. The eye size will be 12-14 mm (14 mm look better at this stage). The head still needs a lot of work, some anatomy refinement and some technical development (such as the neck joint, eyelets and the inside of the head) and also sanding, priming and sanding it again and again. But I'm glad that the characted can be already seen =) His name is Themis, I like his nose much =) And you? =)
Hi there! The guy looks much more better now. He got his first round of sanding, some otoplasty and headcap. Also I improved his "rich inner world" (I mean, the head inside) and added some technical features as magnets sockets and sides for a better positioning. Also I sliced three bearings for the neck hook, so Themis can nod and tilt his head. I will show the inside later when I'm satisfied with it. My friend said that he looks like Claude Frollo from Hugo's "Notre-Dame de Paris", isn't he" =)
I tried Themis on some SD bodies I could find. So you can see how it looks on: 1. Ringdoll RGMBody-4 2. Dollshe Rhytmos body 3. Dollshe Hound 4. Ringdoll 72 cm Which one do you like most?
Here is my admirable Themis =) I received the heads from the casting service and made some of them up. The painted heads are of pale and white skintones. He reminds me Vlad Dracula, by the way =) And here is the @meropsdolls skintones comparison: white, pale, normal
I really like how unique his expression is. He looks kind of sour and stern and it's refreshing to see something so different. :0
