Hello!

I'm a seamstress and clothes designer from Belarus. My name is Kate.
I am in the hobby more than for 10 years and almost everything for my dolls - makeup, clothes, wigs and accesories is made by me. Several years ago it went out that my skills let me get opened for commisions.

I can make for your dolls either a single piece or a complex outfit from lingerie to the hat including knitting, beading, embroidery, polymer clay craft and so on.

I do my best to achieve a realistic look for the outfits. I use fabrics and trimmings
of appropriate scale. I do not use Velcro tape but buttons, snap buttons, lacing, zippers, hooks and eyes closures.

All the seams are closed, neat and durable. I do mashine stitching mainly and hand stitching where it is needed. I also make lining for most types of clothes.

I prefer working with natural fabrics such as cotton, viscose, silk sometimes. I use good quality synthetic fabrics if it is appropriate for the customer and the project. Please, let me know your preferences about it.
I also work with genuine leather and fur. Synthetic leather can also be used if it is appropriate for the customer, but I don't recommend this material because of its short living time.

HOW I WORK​

Sizes: I prefer working with SD and MSD dolls most, but sewinf for other sizes and types are also okay if you can provide me with the body sewing measurements.

If you prefer more exact fit I can send you the instructions how to take measurements of your doll's body. The more accurate you will take them - the better will be the result

Styles:
Vintage, Mori, Fantasy, Folk, Lolita, Casual, Cosplay etc.
Period garments: Medieval, Renaissance, Victorian, Regency/Empire and so on.
I do not sew formal modern clothes for male now.

Please notice: I do not use ready made drafts, so every made-to-order outfit will be unique =)

You may show me the outfit you want - a picture, photo or sketch, and I will do my best to meet your expectations.

I do not copy the exact cut of other designers outfits but I can make something similar.

I can tell you the approximate price at our first conversation, but the final cost can change (before I start the work, of course) according to the complication of the work. Please, do not change our design after the start of the sewing process - it will lead to extra fees.

Processing time: The turnaround time depends on how much work I have in process now. Usually it takes 4-6 weeks for me to complete a medium outfit, but it can be changed in both ways according to the outfit complexity. Simple items are usually made within 1-2 weeks after the prepayment. I will inform you right away I get the order from you when I start it and how long I'm going to work with it.
Please notice that crafting for BJDs is not my full-time job, I always do my best to finish the order ASAP, but sometimes a slowdown can happen.


Payment and shipping:
PayPal EURO payments preferably (since 10th September 2021).
USD payments accept is discussable.
The customer is charged all the fees.

I will start working after we discuss all the design and fabrics.
The 20% prepayment must be paid to add the commission to my Waiting List.
The full payment must be made when I'm starting the commission as a single transaction.
3 months layaway is also possible, I can provide you an individual paymens plan. The commission will be sent after the last payment is made.
Shipping cost may be paid when the commission is complete and I send you the photos.
I ship worldwide. I use regular post service with tracking number.
I can also ship EMS if needed, all shipping fees are paid by the customer.
Usually the shipping price is about €20-25/$22-28 according to the weight of the shipment by the regular post. EMS price will be higher.

Basic prices:
SD simple item such as chemise, cape, apron, hat without intricate decoration - starting from €37/$45 (€50/$60 if lining is needed) and more
MSD size - starting from €30/$35 (€42/$50 if lining is needed) and more.

SD shirt, blouse, skirt, simple dress (without embroidery and decorations) and so on - starting from €46/$55 and more
MSD size - starting from €37/$45 and more

SD shorts, romper or trousers - starting from €50/$60 or more
MSD size - starting from €42/$50 or more

SD period gown, complex cut and decorated dress - starting from €100/$120 and more (the price can increase much, because some times the outfit needs some underwear and accessories for an authentic historical look. Also a lot of decorations that take a lot of time and effort can increase the price high)
MSD size - starting from €75/$90 and more.

The price for hand embroidered, knitted items etc. will be discussed as it depends much on the size and complexity.

The Black Outfit
Working shirt: sheer soft viscose. The sleeves can be turned up, the cuff is buttoned with a polymer clay button.
Skirt with folds and pleats and a flare: viscose. Adjustable waistband with a clap.
Apron: well-textured linen.
