I avoid getting dolls I dont have a plan for... but I guess I cant say I will Never get them.. Right now my list is Iplehouse Dexter in EID or HID size and Iplehouse Stella as a SID Boy or FID girl.

There are tons of sculpts I admire, like the Spinx and all the Fairyland centaurs, but I prefer human dolls only. So even tho I love photos of them, I will never own them.

 

I really love iplehouse Kamau, but i will never buy him due to his size and weight. Also iplehouse Victor is a great sculpt, but all the same, they are huge for me.

 

Ohh I love Angell Studios Victoria! Sadly it's a limited and I probably can't get her anymore

 

Volks Charlotte. It's not her size that deters me, but her price. No way in hell am I paying over 1k for a doll.

 

I would have said Dollshe Saint (the old version) a couple of weeks ago... but the discontinuation wording during the sale got me in a panic, and now I'm waiting on one I don't even know what I'm going to do with him, but I just couldn't miss the chance!

 

I guess I would like a few Sooms? They don't match any of my aesthetics but I do love soom R amber. It was one of the first dolls I ever saw and I adored it.
Otherwise! There's a few teen dolls that I find really cute (as full sets) that if I had the room and money I would get (like ringdoll kou or misha-style B) but I know I wouldn't appreciate them as much as 70cm BJDs

 

I don't have any fantasy dolls, but I will love to have Soom Crow fantasy parts.Somehow, there is something special with this doll.

 

Any doll with elaborate fantasy parts.

I love looking at photos of other people's hoofed dolls, elves, vampires, and so on but when I've bought that style of doll I've always ended up selling them (unless they had non-fantasy option parts). I just don't enjoy owning them as much as I do looking at photos of them.

 

I really love Rongtian (Loongsoul) but given his limited status, I doubt I'll ever have him. Oh well. He's just so beautiful, it's a shame that he was so limited!

 

Souldoll Swinte would be an ideal sculpt if my two dolls had a daughter. But because there is so much in my crew that's still unfinished, I doubt I can properly accommodate a new doll, at least for the moment.

 

I love almost all of the Switch dolls! There are something special about them that just hits a soft spot. They are a little bit on the expensive side for me right now, but I might buy a head. :P

 

Mature minis in general. Greatly prefer the scale of my bigger girls.

Heavily stylized dolls i.e. Dollfie Dream 'cause they just don't really fit with the collection even if they can be cute as hell.

 

DollPamm's Arubi series. I am just in love with the sculpt and the heavily stylized proportions, but I am very new to the hobby and don't feel as if I will ever have a chance to get such a limited doll between paying off my current dolls. The longer it takes to build money back up, the less and less likely I will ever see an Arubi.

 

I also realy like SOOM Amber....She is fantastic!

 

I feel like I've been rather fortunate in being able to get the dolls I like, but if I was going to be honest...
Mewiefish's bactro dolls. Msd alien frogs? Yes please. I don't think mewiefish makes them anymore, however, and I can't see myself picking one up secondhand as the only ones I've ever seen are too expensive for my budget.

 

Minifees. I like Karsh but I doubt I'd ever get to own him and even then buying just the heads seems to cost as much as getting a full doll from another company. They're gorgeous dolls don't get me wrong, I love seeing pictures of them and seeing them at meetups. But I don't see myself ever owning one unless I came into a large sum of money.


Doll Chateau Elizabeth is one of my grail's but I have no room for her leggy self here either. She'd fall off my MSD shelf is more likely. Again, another "if I come into a large sum of money suddenly"


Dollzone Brant is one of my major dream dolls but I'm pretty sure he's discontinued now and I have no room for SD dolls.

D.O.D Petsha- I absolutely loved her outfits and accessories.

 

I've got a couple, I think. Most of the time I fall for a doll but then move on when they don't really end up working out in my head. But I'd love to have a Minifee Ruth. Originally this was going to be my second doll, but that never came true. I was going to get a Ruth head on a female body because I adore the smile but wasn't looking for a boy. Sadly, Ruth was taken off the line for alacarte in 2015. Fairyland said they would be back in the fall, but its been a couple years now and they aren't there. They weren't super popular in the first place, so to piece together one on the MP doesn't make me feel too hopeful. Additionally, I dunno if she'd work out, Ruth is a heavy browed more masculine sculpt in the end.

The other one is Doll Chateau's Baby Doll Liz. I adore her shape! But I don't much like her all resin feet stuck in the high heels all the time. Maybe someday I'll work that out....

Dollzone Carter! I love him so much, but I feel like I couldn't show him to anyone IRL.

 

That IOS Dr. Strange. Too big and too expensive but so much want....If I could only get his outfit. Omg.

 

Universe Doll De'Ath 2 - he's just too big for my likes, but so gorgeous. If only they'd sell the head separately, I'd be down!

 

I just love the recently released Oswald by Doll Chateau and here I thought I'd never be interested in a male sculpt. He's so beautiful but he's much too big for my tastes, I really want to stick to MSD dolls. I'd make an exception but he's also incredibly expensive.
I'd also love the DC Lillian (who would pair beautifully with Oswald) but same as before, she's much too large and pricey.

Maybe one day, if I ever have the funds or space but for now I'll just have to admire.

Honestly any Minifee. I think they're so cute but I already have an MSD and I personally am drawn to SD and YO-SD dolls

 

SoulDoll Amon from their Tarot series... Never. He's so AMAZING though... I love the Vito body, and Amon with gray skin and gargoyle parts just looks amazing. He can HANG FROM HIS FEET LIKE A BAT. I did not enter this hobby soon enough.
Another I want that is diffcult to find but more reasonable than Amon is a Fairyland Nanuri 14. She's just so beautiful, and would fit one of my OCs perfectly... I wish she wasnt limited!!

 

Withdoll Vera Light version. I fell in love with that hint of a scowl when I discovered her on their website, and she reminds me a bit of Evangeline from Wakfu. Also, Little Rebel Kaylar.

One of the first ones I fell for when I started looking around was B&G's Syllenseriin from their Old World Line. He's one of the very few I was tempted to get as a full set. Only reason I didn't in the end was the engineering in his body. I'm not a fan of it. But, maybe...someday...

 

I feel in love with the Kanadoll Adrian the first time I saw him but I have zero reason to get him. I also love Miracledoll Jing and the fullset Telesthesia & Dragon Newmoon... Except with those last two I decided to simple pick what I love about them and then customize YoSDs to match. Much easier than buying expensive SDs that wouldn't match the other dolls they're supposed to be a part of.

Oh, and a lot of fullsets from Loongsoul and Angell-Studio, but that might just be my lust for historical clothing I didn't have to make...

I prefer to see her instead of owning because I can't see myself liking her more than my Lourdes and I only want to have One doll

I chose to volks because she is easier to photograph and play with and find clothes and wigs and shoes for she is a standard size available every where

Minifee Juri 08. Even if it came up for sale, I don't think I could justify the price now that I already own two minifees that I completely adore.

 

5th Motif Venitu, Ringdoll Lucifer and Ringdoll Dracula are all dolls that I love, but I will probably never get. Venitu is apparently discontinued (no idea what his second hand price is) and the other two are a bit too pricey for my taste. Also, as much as I *love* their sculpts, I can't seem to think of a character that would suit them, so I wouldn't really know what to do with them .__. still, nothing stops me from drooling on owner pics when I see them

Another recent addition to the "will probably never get" list is Souldoll Lot. I was actually planning to get him at some point... then Souldoll announced that he'll be discontinued by the end of August ;___; and since I'd already ordered another doll and I couldn't really afford to buy *another one* in such a short amount of time (looks like it's either the full doll or nothing, with Lot -___-), I pretty much had to give up on him. I'm sort of hoping to find him second hand one day, but seeing how there seems to be no owner pics around of him at all... my hopes aren't very high :'(

 

Since she's on her last preorder and therefore on my mind, Youpla Ziya. She's so very pretty, but I told myself I was done buying dolls until next year and I need to stick to it. She doesn't suit any of my existing characters, either, so I'm just going to have to live without her. (But she's SO pretty!)

At least I can admire owner pics from a distance.

SOOM Dia, but doesn't everyone? I've kind of given up on owning one though. I've been trying to avoid buying sculpts just because I like them. I need a plan for my dolls, because I like to be able to shell a good character.

 

Dollshe Saint and Soom Dia male--I love them, but will probably never find one.

 

Granado Enoch, the vampire fae boy. He is so hot & looks like Alexander Scarsgard. I love the big boys but they are probably too big for me. A Loongsoul Dragon Prince would be the other

 

The limited edition doll The Empress III by Dollzone. I love it! But she's out of my price range and I don't really have enough room where I live now to display her properly xAx

Soom volo/lux in violet with her open eyed head and fantasy parts (I love those paws). I've only seen her fantasy body paired with her fantasy head, and even that was way way out of my budget

 

Sculpts that I love but will probably never get are Iplehouse HID Drake and Granado Uranus & Jupiter. I really can't justify the expense. I mean, I know dolls are expensive, but those are just so much more than I think they're really worth.

 

Right now I'm thinking probably any big Soom guy with fantasy parts. They're so pretty, but I can't see them posing very well and they're expensive. And SDs are cool but aren't really my favorite size. (Soom YoSDs though? I'm gonna have a million of those at some point.)

 

I love Soom's Cheshire cat and Roxen sculpts, but mostly as fullsets with their exotic skin colors. I don't see myself styling or making them my own, which is most of the fun of dolls for me.

 

It's Soom Aslan and IOS Osiris for me. Asian is just too similar to some of my other dolls to justify purchasing him. He is gorgeous but so are my other Soom boys XD For Osiris I've been on the fence for years because I love Sebastian from Kuroshitsuji but I didn't feel the sculpt captured the more masculine face that he has in the anime and later in the manga which I preferred, but when they released his character doll it was exactly what I had wanted. I'll never have an Osiris but I am very fond of the sculpt ^^

 

Dollzone Anson, that doll even without makeup was a work of art but I didn’t discover it until it was too late to order it.

 

Venitu was on my wishlist for a while, but my tastes have changed, and while I still think he’s gorgeous, he doesn’t suit the aesthetic I’d drop money for. More fun to look at other people’s. XD

I also love Dollmore’s Socheon— now there’s a beautiful lady! But I don’t like that only the arms of the Model body are double jointed, and I prefer buying full dolls— I seriously don’t have the patience for resin- and dimension-matching.

I think I’m done filling out my collection, anyway. More than three is too many for me.

 

Hope these are on topic, but I've fallen for Little Pri and Little Kio from Argonautica Dolls! They remind me of the Zora from Legend of Zelda and they even sparked an interest in mature tinies for me! (At least, I'm pretty sure they're considered mature tinies) I'd love to have a whole horde of mature tinies based on Legend of Zelda now, though I know I'll probably not go through with that idea since it would be very expensive and extensive
