Well I recieved a new scanner and a new doll at work at the same time. Strangeness ensued:





Try explaining to your boss why there's littlewhite feet poking out of a photobag on your scanner. They haven't yet learned not to ask

 

I guess some scanners are better than others. What scanners are you guys using who get those nice in focus and sharp scans? This is from a Canon MP520 printer/scanner.

 

I scanned Clean Slate in a couple of days ago and played with the colors a bit... Weirdly it matches really well with Lyddia's Tatiana in the last post...

 

my scanner is gross and dirty and was too lazy to wipe it.

and now Fyn has another thing to his list of "how mama Kino abuses me" XD

 

These are all so great! They remind me of Lady Cottingham's Pressed Fairy book (only with less squishing and spattered fairy guts ).

Oooo, I like how these two turned out. Puck makes a great scannee.

Well I obviously had to try this xD Lee was confused and I think he wanted out. Sevin was unsure. He kinda had that "what's going o-O__O BRIGHTLIGHTINMYFACE!" kinda look. I think...Ces fell asleep..o_O Edgar looks like he's inside his own mind. Look out on the world he can't get to. And Seth rejected me and my stupidity xD

Not all of my boys but the ones that would co-operate...slightly anyway.

I did some of my roomie's dolls too, so I think she'll post those. We might go try my mother's scanner, it's much newer than mine and will probably work better. I'm so jealous of those of you who got them to come out so well!

So I was at my mom's house today doing laundry. I took Rail with me to keep my company. I was browsing around DoA and remembered this game. XD So I looked over to my mom's scanner, snatched Rail and stuffed him in it. Lol. Needless to say, he wasnt happy about it.

Here are the results. They arent very sharp or anything, but still kind of clear and fun to do, for me anyway.

Well three of mine did ok.. Jereth however was just acting bad.. but he came out with the most interesting shots. The funky blue blotchy background was my fingerprints all over the top of the glass.. I kept them in cause I thought it looked neat.

I LOVE this thread.

So, first my little one, Aiden, tried this out...I think she looks like she's swimming (although at least one of these looks a little bit dead o_O)









Because of the watery look, I wanted to see what would happen if I sat her upright on the scanner, looking down at it like it was a pool of water. It actually does look like a reflection!




Then Mads tried it out (apologies for the smudginess)...







I took some more with Regan, but one of them's NSFW so I'll put it in a separate reply.

 

So Regan is an alt model by trade, and the effect of the scanner made me think of an idea. The last one's the only actually NSFW, the rest might be a bit suggestive if you read into it, but she's fully clothed and everything throughout.

As a side note, it is IMPOSSIBLE to get a Domuya's face down on a scanner -- they have prohibitively large breasts! - without laying her on her back and rotating her head sideways. It looks Exorcist-like and it's creepy as hell! Eek! I didn't post that one.







Anyway, if this is inappropriate feel free to take it down. I really like the way these turned out, though.

 

I tried this on my cheap all-in-one scanner. Not really sharp but still I like the effect. I think Sweetie looks like he is falling thru space or something O_o

I just got a hand-me-down scanner so I had to try this.

First up, Rosamund, my Tania, with a little help from my sweater. She decided to be quite the flirt.

Oh wow~ o 3o What a cool effect, I'll definitely have to try this out. xD -goes to fish out scanner and plug it in- I wanted to print some stuff out anyways, so it all works out. xD
