SC doll *Flower and Junior* discussion part 1

Thanks, I managed to get a reply. I was worried since it'd been so long since the last reply.

I ordered Mizi.w and Yabi so I'm in for a wait (I also ordered Char and Abi haha...)

 

I'm just worried because I know Flower&Junior has failed to deliver on orders before. But I hope they heads ship soon.

 

Has she actually failed to deliver? Or was it just a very long wait for some people? I know some people waited a long time and were worried nothing was coming, did they not receive anything?

 

It was a couple years ago, so I'm not sure if the heads eventually arrived. But it was extreme and people had to try to get their money back. It may still be buried in this thread...

 

I've been slowly read through, not caught up yet but it seems there was a long wait and some people worried they'd have to get their money back. I'll keep reading through when I have time. Hope it doesn't happen this time.

Le sigh..... still no head! No shipment notices- no nothing!

 

Really hope they ship soon. I have a lot of money spent here. I'd rather have the heads though! I thought Mizi.w orders only would have shipped by now. I know I have a bit of a longer wait but it's worrying when the same pattern is happening.

 

I contacted Small about a change of address but she said my order is already shipped. So perhaps it's a case of orders will just arrive at this point and she hasn't notified people? Mine says 6th of June on the tracking. I am surprised mine shipped already since I ordered Yabi after the 30 in stock ones had already sold so I expected a longer wait.

 

That's good to hear. I asked Small for an update on Saturday, but I'm not really expecting a reply until Monday. Hopefully this means my girl shipped, too.

 

I THINK I got my shipping notice this morning! Via text message?? But it's DHL from China?

 

I won't be able to get mine till August now annoyingly as I won't be going back to that address until then so I won't even be able to check that they're all there and in tact. I did email Small on June 2nd but realised too late that the contact form gets better results with replies. D'oh.

 

@Chehime That's normal for DHL. I think they auto-text whatever number you provided for your address.

 

Well it worked!!! My head arrived today!! I have to try her out on her Bambicrony body now! I hope they match a little....

I have a Peto normal skin at home and need a body. I have no idea which company would be compatible with this resin color. Is SD sized doll Chateau body in pink normal skin a good match?

By the way, I have waited approximately 3-4 months for the heads. And they just pop up at home randomly today. I haven’t received any update or tracking number, so I was quite surprised! Still waiting on the body for Chan white skin... should arrive by August.

 

I know DC/DZ white skin is a close match for the WS (though maybe a tad creamier? I'm not sure). As for NS I have no idea, I think pink normal might be the one. I know people were mentioning the normal skin matches in the earlier posts of this thread.

I got a family member to bring my parcel.

I bought Mizi.w, Char in one order and Yabi and Abi in another, and Small said she would combine my orders, yet when I opened it I only received Abi and Yabi. I recorded the box opening as it said 2 pieces and I had a feeling she didn't send everything. ETA: I'm in contact with Small and she believes Mizi order didn't ship because Char 1st isn't ready yet. I'm in contact with her on IG. Hope this gets resolved. I have a body incoming for Mizi!

Jett's actual body finally arrived a couple days ago. Now I can take him off the borrowed one, lol.

The resin match is so much better with the new body, which is white skin, although it looked decent on the other body (a normal skin little gem body) because he's such a blushy boy. I ended up choosing the Myou Type III boy body, since I wanted Jett to be fairly delicate looking.

 

Such lovely dolls being posted. For my Yabi I'm hoping to get a slightly chubby boy body. There's a lot of thin tall bodies at the moment and I want him to look more cuddly.

As an update on my missing heads: Small confirmed it was because Char wasn't ready and my order will be shipped soon. I just hope she changes the address as promised. I'm going to message her again to confirm as she never replied to the email. I can't wait more months to pick them up again.

 

I got Jett a new coat and shorts, and decided to change his hair to match. I've had this wig for so many years without someone to wear it, haha, bought it for a doll I ended up giving up!

 

@Magnus Vale, I absolutely love Jett in this wig...it truly brings him to life in a very wonderful way. His new coat and shorts are awesome as well. Love, love, love his style!

@Linum what a great look for this sculpt...and very unexpected! She truly is adorable this way. Hooray for you for recognizing her potential for this look.

 

I redid the faceup for my Faven (Mizi.W) and I'm quite happy with the result. She looks more like a magical girl now
I also received good news as the package of Yabi head arrived today! He was from 2018 but the condition is pretty good. I think he is gonna go well with his sibling

Just wanted to share a recent picture of my MiziW.
I tried on a new wig I made, and it felt so cute with her sweater.

 

I have my boy packed away at the moment, but he always wore a 7-8" wig, if that helps?

Has F&J stopped making? I did notice some sculpts I hadn't seen on DollK listed for preorder, but F&J's website has been down for some time, and her IG seems to no longer be active. If she moved to just selling through DollK that's good, I'm just hoping so because that'd mean a chance for sculpts to come back maybe... Would hate to think another doll maker has stopped creating

 

I've been wondering the same thing. And I don't know how reliable DolK is.

 

They are on their shop on TaoBao, but if you talk to them, they just don't answer. Possibly Dolk is a better option as they are big and can pressure F&J more efficiently.

 

Has anyone ordered from them in a while? I always wanted a Little Fox, so hoping they're not shutting down or anything.

 

@Dunpeald May I ask what the name of their TB store is? Since their website is completely gone you can't view their dolls anymore (and BJD Bhiner is on the fritz, I go to the Dolls section and all my results are for cosplay contacts...) so I'd like to use Taobao World to view their store, if you don't mind.

They're still listed on Dolk's site, but there's only 3 dolls listed. I'm worried they may not be around (at least in ways that overseas customers can access easily) much longer.
