Did anyone else get a shipping email from SartoriaJ with the tracking number not working, even after a few days?
I placed two orders last week and the week before that (only clothes). The first order shipped the next day and has already arrived to me. The second order supposedly als shipped the next day, I got a shipping email and a tracking number on 1st October but until today the tracking number isn't working and when I check my order on their website, the status ist not "in transit", but still "pending".
I couldn't post a question regarding this problem on their Q&A board either, I always ended up getting an error. :/
I wrote an e-mail to them yesterday, hoping for a response.

@Amadiel I've had it where I get a notif from Sartoriaj that something is shipping but the tracking doesn't appear. I think what happens is sometimes they make the labels in batches but don't actually send it out for a week or two. Definitely worth asking about though, so hopefully you get a response to your email!

In other news, my Milady de Winter outfit order arrived today...in a crushed box to the point that it was OPEN, I about had a heart attack when I saw it on my doorstep. I had ordered eyes and I was worried they had just fallen out of the holes (yes, plural) but thankfully SJ packs everything in big ziploc bags so nothing was lost! I don't have a corset bust girl (yet) so I can't model the set, but it's gorgeous anyway.

@Fyrwenn - Thank you! Yes, her faceup is wonderful...her lips so detailed.

@ryuunohime - Thank you! That's so nice of you to say! I'm glad your outfit and eyes arrived.

 

Yes, I think that might be it, it actually makes sense. The tracking is still not working and I haven't gotten a reply yet. But I saw a message from someone on their Q&A board titled "tracking number not found", so I'm probably not the only person with that problem.
I don't mind waiting. I just hope they already packed the order because 5 out of the 6 items I ordered are now sold out.

 

So she arrived today! The face up is lovely. The only real problem I have is all the glitter (?) on it. There is so much that the skin isn´t smooth anymore. Especially on the brigde and point of the nose it formed a thick crust. Which isn´t very visible, but I am afraid that clothes or hair could catch on it and simply rip it off. And that would be visible for sure.
The headcap gave me a little scare - it had escaped from it´s place in the foam and I really had to look to find it again And she used up the last of my eye putty! I can already see that she is high maintenance

I got a reply to my e-mail, regarding the tracking number not working.
It turned out the eyes I ordered where somehow faulty and they are remaking them for me now. So the order is on hold and I will get a new tracking number when they actually ship it. I'm so relieved now, the order ist not lost or anything.

 

I checked Sartoriaj website and my order status is "queued for shipment". Hopefully it means what I think it means and the order will be shipped soon

I will post unboxing and close up pics I wanted to see Sartoriaj doll in real life for long time, especially face ups, so I'll post good quality pics for for other people who might be curious too.

Tracking number is not working yet, but it is probably either postal services slow to update or like people said here that the label was created and Sartoriaj will ship the actual package soon, so I am not worried and continue to impatiently wait

Sorry to double post but I just checked on how my Evelyn order was doing and it says queued for shipment!!

Does anyone know how long that usually lasts?

I'm so surprised I ordered a doll from them August last year and I didn't get her until March!

It was shipped pretty fast after being queued for shipment. Right now the package is already in my city

Evelyn has been shipped I am honestly so surprised I'm getting her so soon! Really didn't expect her until March. Sort of toying with the idea of saving her until Christmas but I have zero self control so I don't have high hopes of that panning out

 

@Loganberry Nice!! I don't think I'd be able to wait, either.

I did see in an email SJ sent out that they were sending all paid in full orders from July and August in October, and their current wait time is 30-45 days for a blank doll! So maybe the days of six month waits are over?? I'm super excited as I ordered my girl in August, though admittedly I did get extras so I imagine it will still be a bit yet.

In other news, I did receive a shipping notice for the magician set I bought on Aug 9!

 

Wow, glad to see such fast shipping! I'm afraid with the new outfit drops I may be gotten again, the amount I've spent with sartoriaj this year is embarrassing haha.

Just wanted to peek in here and say that my outfit arrived! This time the box was completely sealed and inside a bag, so maybe they got some complaints before? (My last outfit arrived in a smashed box that worried me I lost eyes etc.) Anyway, I want to rave about the outfit itself, it's absolutely gorgeous. The details continue to astound me on SJ clothes!

I will take pictures once I've figured out how to get it all on...

 

They're not done, but here is my SartoriaJ Malena with my Kinodoll Eril wearing the magician outfit! My only complaint about the outfit was that the cummerbund would not stay on; it has those loop/bead fasteners and I finally gave up on it.

I have received Evelyn and she is so beautiful. The face up is amazing, the most detailed one I have from them. I'll post a pic when I can, it's just been so dull here lately.

 

Oh my Paul status changed to "Queued for Shipment", exciting. I'm going to theme him around playing cards like a Prince of Hearts or Jack of Hearts deal. Might name him Ace XD

 

Ace is such a good name for that theme, I love it!

My teen Claire arrived last week, (I can't believe how fast she arrived as I only ordered late September) and I had a red wig on her and didn't get inspired, so I changed to this one and suddenly she just popped. I love her flat-chested self...and her lips...and her different hands. Now I wish I was able to get another body for some other floating heads I have.

Got my card themed boy and Ace (AKA Paul) is perfect, and his outfit is perfect... Just one flaw has slightly soured him.
I will never ever buy another wig from Sartoria J, the styled wine wig I got with him is an ugly mess of yellow glue in the bangs and looks nothing like the nicely styled clean wig in the promo photos. Going to wash the wig as it's a cheaper glue and some has already come out with a bit of combing, but for the price paid it should have just been better. The wigs are not worth the money. :/

Dolls and face ups fantastic 11 out of 10, outfits solid 9 out of 10, wig 1 out of 10. I love Sartoria J dolls and would buy another in the future, but not their wigs.

Minor wig rant aside this boy can actually do no wrong. Ace is more then perfect for what I wanted him to be, and his nails and face up are fantastic. My Prince of Hearts, maybe actually knave of Hearts is wonderful and I am glad he is home.

 

@luluna -- Thank you for posting a picture of your Leo! I'm glad the sculpt was re-released, he's just stunning (like all the SJ dolls).

@Tippetarius -- glad you like your doll, despite not liking the wig you received! I'm finding that the quality of wigs from all the companies I've bought from has gone down in comparison to previous years, which is unfortunate. I hope your fix works out, or that you can find something better.

 

@morganatron - Thank you! I think he's most handsome too! I love how the ends of his mouth turn up.

@Quirked - You are most welcome! I hope you love yours when he arrives! SJ is knocking the good looking sculpts out of the park the past couple of years.
