My Yu just arrived safe and sound! I don't really see any flaws on her honestly? So I'm not complaining at all! Time to give her a faceup and figure out her outfit Her name is Lomi! She's from a fantasy world I've been working on

 

My Jude also arrived from the sale and he looks great to me.

I got to say this is the fastest I've ever had a doll, so I'm happy I didn't have to wait. I still got other dollies pending with SJ.

My last Jude before this one, I received earlier this month. He and Naomi were from my April order. So they took a bit of time to get here, but I love how they turned out. Happy with both of them.

Hello everyone, I'm new on this thread . I bought Jarrad with ATH 51 body from the sale, he's on his way now. He has a sanding mark on his forehead, but I really wanted him because of his discontinued status, and he's the perfect companion for my Juliet. It's a relief to read here that the sales dolls look fine by the way.

 

Two new dolls are up, the other “standard” dolls are now available all the time instead of having to wait for releases, and they all have new makeup options! Exciting!!!!

 

I have only one msd sartoriaj doll and she is so beutifull. I think so i will buy one more in the future, but for now i can shear her pictures with all of you

Has anybody received their dolls with Mintonette bodies ordered when they came out in July last year? I ordered a Mintonette body and I'm still waiting

 

I got mine in early December! It was warm ivory and paid in full. You should check with them!

 

I ordered mine in Peach Cream. Maybe they’re producing them in batches by resin color?

 

Unless you did a layaway, you should have the body by now.

Happy happy happy!! My Jarrad from the sale finally arrived! He was stuck in customs for a long time, but today I picked him up. He's gorgeous, I love the Amber Beige skin colour, and the "flaws" (sanding marks on forehead and dust) are barely noticeable. Just wanted to share this news, thanks for reading!

 

Oh my gosh, did anyone else get the email about The Fifth Season? And then on Instagram today I was the canteens and compasses. Guys I am super pumped to see where this is going!

 

I don´t get any emails from them unfortunately, despite signing up for the newsletter. What Fifth season? Cannot find anything on instagram either, just pictures of armors and weapons.

 

I suspect it's a brand new theme they are going to be starting.

 

I did, I'm also super excited to see what they are planning, plus I think that story would actually make a very good science-fiction/dystopian novel to read.
In Germany Karneval is called the fifth season, so I was a bit confused there at first, haha.

The Fifth Season is also the name of a post-apocalyptic sci-fi novel by N.K Jemisin. It is a very interesting read, and I wonder if it is the inspiration for this collection

 

I swear no one ever finishes their tarot collection.

 

Ooh, that's interesting, thanks for the tip, I'll have to check it out. Maybe they'll release dolls inspired by characters from that novel.

 

It would have been nice if SJ did a yearly Tarot release...back-to-back to back releases are hard to finance even if you want them.

 

First pictures of the characters are out on the website. They are SDs, and supposed to be of African origin, as it looks. Well, at least for him it´s halfway successful.

 

It looked like there may be a new skintone released with this series of dolls? As Nadia and Nathan shown on the site both look darker than amber beige.

 

Ooh a sci-fi theme sounds fun!!! And yes, I've also read the novel "The Fifth Season" and loved it, it would be very interesting if it was based on those characters! And even if they're SD dolls, usually (so far at least) the SDs have eventually been released in MSD size too. So I'm looking forwards to seeing this new collection!

 

Ooh the goggles in the Instagram today are super cool looking. I wonder if they are only for SD size or if there will be 1/4 scale goggles too....

@oriscany Thank you I ordered her end of July last year, so seven months. Not sure if they going to reproduce her or any of the other Limiteds - companies have been known to change their mind about that rather often.

Oh, she is magical! Your photo makes me even more excited to get my Juliet. How long did it take to receive her? I had a hard time deciding which faceup to get, they were all so gorgeous! Each one gave her a different personality. Whoever is doing the faceups is a wonderful artist (Zako, maybe?). What color resin is she? I ordered the same faceup as the 1/3 Elf Juliet for my MSD Doll. I always love to see your photos.

 

Congratulations! I think she turned out very well. Both her sculpt and faceup are lovely.

My Elf Juliet is in Warm Ivory resin. I totally agree that whoever is doing the faceups is doing them beautifully! I've been very pleased with all my recent purchases. I ordered her on 15 Apr 2022 and she arrived 19 Dec 2022. So a little longer than they used to arrive...but as long as the facups are as wonderful as they have been I'm willing to wait a little longer.

Here's hoping everyone's dolls come soon and are as wonderful!

I'm so excited, I just ordered MSD Sarah and she's my first SartoriaJ doll! I can't wait! I do have a question though. I'm going to be "reshelling" my character Elizabeth from an Iplehouse FID Carina to Sarah when she arrives and currently she has 8/3mm eyes. Would this eye size work in Sarah? I've noticed that a majority of people use 8/4mm and I'm a bit concerned the smaller size may look odd? Does anyone use this size and have pictures to help me see the difference?

 

I think 8/3 will be better than 8/4!
