50–65cm Dolls SartoriaJ Jade (Galadriel) arrival and box opening

This ethereal beauty safely arrived yesterday (October 21st). DHL didn't require a tax to be paid upfront, but it's possible I'll receive an invoice in the mail sometime over the next few weeks.

Notably, they took especially good care of the box for this shipping. There was only the smallest of dents on the exterior, so I figured she'd be entirely safe inside and she was.

I placed my order on March 24th, and inquired with Jay about a layaway because I hoped to get extras with her (and Jay was wonderful and very accommodating). The monthly invoices were ideal, and my order included Galadriel on the MTN body, in the limited pale rose resin color available during this release of the elves. I opted for her faceup, eyes, hand, bust, and feet blushing (as well as the lavender nightgown set and the vintage underwear set). I considered her gown, but figured I'd try my luck in sourcing one, and the same went for her wig.

Love at first sight. Her faceup is so beautifully painted.



The Migidoll wig was an ideal fit and very soft, matches her eyebrows perfectly as well. I love her eyes and I'm so pleased that I ordered them with her. The lavender nightgown set is beautifully made and very elegant (and I imagined it might stand in until I sourced a gown for her, or made one myself, and I'm terribly slow about making things).



Lovely hand blushing and painting. I'd hoped one pair of hands would be painted, and her flat feet, but it seems the high-high heel feet got painted. I'll have to make arrangements for the other pairs of hands and feet, shown below.

And, as it turns out... I found someone making elf gowns on TaoBao and was able to join a preorder for one with help from Christina at Clover Singing.



This gown ensemble came with this white gown, a sage green gown that can be layered over this one, and Arwen's dove grey cloak. Each piece is beautifully made (I'll get more pictures soon).

I'm so happy she's here. In simply arriving, she's joined my top favorites of my crew. Everything went flawlessly, and Jay and the crew at SartoriaJ have my sincerest thanks and gratefulness, as well as Christina at Clover Singing for enabling the order for the elf gown set, and Migidoll for the wonderfully suited wig.

I haven't been able to browse TaoBao lately, they've made some changes to their website and my accounts keep getting blocked and I can't move beyond the identity verification steps, even though I have the required ID forms. Nonetheless, I'm happy I was able to spot her gown when I did!
