Anyone in UK finding the PF tracking a bit odd lately, never had a problem with them before but I had a parcel that vanished for about 5 days a few weeks ago and my Yvonne arrived Sunday, was in and out of customs in 2 minutes then nothing, I would have expected her to be in my local York depot by now. Looks like it is going to be after Easter unless something moves today.

 

@PennyDes - Well, I wouldn't put her on an HID yet because both of mine are in DB, so... I'll have to see if she matches one of my EIDs for now. And yes, the dark eyes really look nice on yours!

@luluna - Thank you for the reference! I can see the difference in the jawline, and in the shape of the eyes too, but then I didn't really want them to be duplicates, so that's fine by me. Definitely look like they could be related still.

 

@PennyDes - She's lovely! I agree, the dark eyes really suit her nicely.

@luluna - They're both stunning! Yvonne's wig looks so soft.

 

Quick photo of Yvonne, she arrived in my local PF depot early hours Friday but as it was a Bank Holiday they were closed so thought I wasn't going to get her until Tuesday but they were open this morning and my husband volunteered to do the 60 mile round trip to release her. I am going on holiday later this week so not got a lot of time but she fits perfectly on my Twigling body, skintone is a bit more pink but nothing terrible. Very nice free black wig that came with her, she is wearing it as I think black suits the dramatic face-up.

I actually will not be on here for a little while... I've really aggravated my carpal tunnel syndrome and will be off all social media to allow it to heal. I look forward to catching up with everyone and seeing all the dolls when I get back

I am waiting for the face up options to see if I like the head or not. What scares me atm is the body question. I was lucky to have an extra body for my Yvonne head, but getting a single Iple body is not that easy. I really hope they will release their new bodies as Body only option.

And I asked Jay when my Yvonne head will ship - he said at the beginning of May I am so excited to get her!

i would order a full iple doll and offer the head as a split... realy don't think when you want a body a head is hard to sell? especially new?

 

@Lady Tiku Not sure ... I have seen quiet a few Iple heads here on the market place which do not sell. I thought people would be more eager to get them.
So now I hope I won´t like Jakary

 

Ooooh I am very much liking the new guy! But I don't have a character for him. And I've used my doll budget for the year. So I shall resist him. (Famous last words...)

 

the diference would be the other person would get to pick the head they want... and often the heads that don't sell are the least popular sculpt and or in uncommon colors. But I do get not wanting to like it lol

 

Got the shipping notice for my Yvonne-head! I am really excited to see how well she will fit on my EID-body.

 

Zakary (No. 3 head sculpt) is available for order now.
He has a very Luke Evans vibe, to me.

 

He is very handsome. Does anyone know if there will be more faceup options. It would be nice if they stated the skin color of the sample.

 

Ooh I adore his little smirk. But he's not crying out "buy me" so my wallet can rest easy.

@nancy_schroeder_ca - I believe he's in warm ivory in those photos.

 

I asked on Instagram and the sample is peach cream.

Ordered Zackary head in Warm Ivory today with face up I'm hoping he will fit on my Iplehouse EID superhero body, the person I communicated through etsy seems to think so. Difficult head to get a body for, so I really hope he fits! How have wait times been for previous heads? From reading back, seems to be 2-3 months?

 

@GreenTeaSlug She is beautiful. Do you mind me asking, what is the Fantasia body? It looks great! I just got a postal notice on my door at some point today, found it when I got home from work.....it's gotta be Yvonne!!!! Time to make a trip to the post office!!

This doll is amazing!!! I picked her up from the post office. I was a little afraid to see what she would turn out like as I ordered her in the amber beige with the mirror queen 'natural' face up. She is beautiful. The wig on her is gorgeous. But I don't have a body. And not sure when I'll get one. So for now she is a floating head......

 

@GreenTeaSlug Now that picture is totally awesome! Very elegant! Thanks for showing her with that hairstyle - mostly the girls have long hair (all of mine too), it´s nice to see how good they can look with shorter hair!

As for Zakary, I think the sculpt and faceup are both very nicely done, but I'm not sold on him at the moment. Guess I'll wait and see what other options he might get!

Oh, I hadn't seen Ezra Miller until you mentioned it now. I had been looking for a Erza Miller sculpt to make into a different character, so I'd be interested in seeing how he works with more dancer like bodies !

I ordered eyes with her but they didn't come in the package. Still waiting to hear back from SartoriaJ regarding them.

And happy to report that my Yvonne (amber beige) has arrived. I painted her, but still waiting for the weather to improve, so she can be sprayed / sealed with MSC UV Cut. She's a really exquisite sculpt. Eventually I'd like to give my new crew member her own body, but for now she's having to share. With that in mind, very curious to see what sort of female body SartariaJ designs. Hopefully there will be an option for different bust sizes.

 

I received my girl today. She is absolutely stunning. The face up (B) turned out real well. I put her on an older EID body, which would be a good match if the body wasn´t so much yellowed :/ But apart of that I am totally happy with her!

 

Ooh exciting! I'm eager to see photos from both of you. Once the weather improves of course.

 

I notice the e-mail yesterday was titled "Zackary, Last Version," so I guess he only gets three faceup options.
Of the three, I think I'm liking the "beast" version best, personally, though I do like the scruff on the original. Hmm.

Thank you, @Bluenocs and @Bren ! She looks even better in person, but I couldn´t get a real good picture of her. I am totally in love with her! Now I just need to find a similar wig that fits better - this one is too small.

I managed to reduce the yellowing at her neck and chest by sanding the resin - it really worked out well! Much better now
Heh, poor Carina fell victim to Lavonne - I sold her head and gave her body to the new girl. Funny, Carina always was one of my grail dolls, but when I got her I could never bond with her, not even with a new face up. Bonding with Lavonne was instantly!

And I bought her a wig yesterday, from SophieMolly on Etsy. I measured her head and now the wig will fit perfectly

 

SartoriaJ on Instagram posted more pictures of Zachary. I was doing so well resisting him too.... But he looks so good styled this way and somehow earlier I hadn't really noticed how he has that quirky mouth, one side starting to smile almost. Maybe someone can add those pictures here.

 

I may have to bite the bullet and order Zachary before his ordering period is done...………...I just recently was able to add Jude, who I had been kicking myself for missing, and he's wonderful.

So I have been looking through all of my emails from the company, trying to figure out which resin color I like for Zachary. They mention that the facial hair version is in the peach cream and they have pictures of him on the Dollshe 28m copper oriental body. It looks like an o.k. match but I thought that they usually have the copper oriental paired more with their amber beige. They also show the Beast version in that amber beige on an Iplehouse real skin. So I am guessing that the other palest head Zachary must be in their warm ivory? Am I getting these head colors right? And has anyone here put one of their Peach Cream heads on a Copper Oriental body? Was it a good match in person? And do we know when SartoriaJ plans to have their boy bodies for sale? I saw that the girl bodies would by Autumn, but was wondering how long until a boy body?

 

I don't have anything in peach cream, but I've tried my amber beige Yvonne on a copper oriental Dollshe body, and it's definitely not a match (the head is much darker and more "coppery" in tone than the body).
