Yes, that might be a good idea if they don't just like the idea of offering heads all the time but would like to offer the possibility to customers who cannot afford a full doll but want the head/have something different in mind when it comes to the body. It might be problematic if they want to keep all their sculpts limited for now though, as then they would have to rerelease a bunch of sold out sculpts for each sales e.g. once a year.

      I'm really a fan of the outfits and I do wish I would have use for the body, but I already currently have two bodies without a head. I have heard many people here tend to end up with floating heads, but for me it seems to happen the other way around, at least with female dolls.

      That being said, I am eager to see if they sculpt a male body one day.

Im pretty sure the head sales is something they are not interested in doing, since they did mention right from the start that the head sales were limited to that period, and are not going to be released again, and that after the body is released, there wont be anymore head only sales. The head sales of the recent batch were of the older skin offered, which wouldnt match any of their current resin tones so it made sense to sell them as heads only for that one time.....
      Personally it doesnt bother me that much since the majority of my favorite companies dont even offer heads, or fullset separates. It doesnt hurt to ask though, but I would keep expectations low.

      I remember them saying that a male body will be coming in 2020! I expect we should be hearing something towards the end of year; I would put in your wish and suggestion for the male body because Im pretty sure they do read the thread here for some feedback and suggestions

      Im really really reallly grateful that getting their outfits separately is still a choice (and I hope it remains a choice), because most companies tie the outfit with their full dolls only (T_T I wanted the FID Athena set and weapons, only a different and head and that wasnt a choice), or sell them extremely limited in numbers (the last Idealian sets sold out in 3 minutes....that was stressful). I also really like their layaway.

      What do you all think of Eleanor? I did like the blank images, and thought she would look really cool with heavy punk makeup (british style) with a nose piercing and some dimple piercings since she has a natural smiling face, and big wild crimped dark hair, but the released photos really surprised me in how different she turned out.

      Ill be getting one in ivory skin, with the same faceup as the Baroque dress promo. Ill probably start making a curly mohair wig so she looks like one of those beauties in the Waterhouse paintings.

      Seeing her second look, Im hoping she comes with a range of weapons, but Ill keep my expectations low so I wont get disappointed if she doesnt XD

      Heres what I know so far:
      ]There will be the 2 makeup styles offered. You can also choose "custom" and choose from any of the past makeup they did on their previous released dolls

      @luluna I was wondering how you managed to hide her tattoos, because they are pretty visible and large!
      I think maybe if you very lightly, circle melamine sponge until most of it gone, and then reapply a coating of sealant before applying blush on both sides (hide the rest of the face with cotton and a masking tape) it should work?
      I wouldnt attempt to do that though, maybe airbrush a similar color on top and then reseal and apply cheek blush on both sides would be easier to color match the blushing

      I had a feeling that you had a thing for Atlantis after seeing those amazing HID dolls you had with the dark skin and snow hair!

      Im not entirely convinced that Noel Cruz is a normal human being. I suspect he must be a magician, or those faceups are actually small trapped humans. He even painted pores on their faces. I was not expecting the dolls he painted started as Barbie or any other dolls. I even had to look up the bases (the Marilyn dolls he paints, the bases looked different, to put it kindly, but the painted ones look exactly like her!)

      I really want to know more of Oasis and ZAK and I specially want to see them completed knowing how much details you put into your Ancient Egypt dolls. To think she mistook the Olympian god to a servant lol, I want to know how and if she discovers who he really is and how their relationship develops. Is there a place you share your doll biographies or stories?

      In other news, my Serena in Peach shipped, I am very excited for her arrival! Ive already set aside the wig, eyes and clothing I plan to introduce her in. She's the Witch of the Waste (yes, from the Howl series of Diana Wynne Jones) + the Studio Ghibli movie. She's my favorite character lol

    4. @GreenTeaSlug Eleanor is very pretty. At first I didn´t like her on the blank head pictures, but with a face up she looks real good. If I weren´t so totally out of big doll space, I would feel seriously tempted.

      Hope your Serena comes to you quickly!

    5. To me Eleanor would be pale, blonde and ethnically from somewhere north Europe. She would have minimal makeup, some freckles and would wear her blonde hair in two braids. She would really look cool in some traditional style dress.

      I'm not sure about the two new outfits fitting my image of her, both of them look very dark and "powerful" for what I had in mind for a shy girl I imagine her to be. I love the blue corset set with their new bust though, and if they offered it as a freebie for purchasing, I just might...

    8. I always thought I was really set on getting her in warm ivory skin with red hair and brown eyes, but now that there are photos of her in casual wear, I think Im leaning towards the amber beige skin ... Im glad theres still some time until the preorder period ends for her....

      @vauhtikatti I didnt expect blonde to work with such pale skin, but it looks really beautiful on her here. I think your idea is very pretty, like a traditional Scandanavian style outfit with the hair styled up, with a little white head piece, or a floral wreath?
      Truthfully, Ive always wanted to see that kind of clothing, with floral embroidery, its such a beautiful style. Im surprised that kind of style isnt more present in the BJD market

    10. @GreenTeaSlug That's exactly what I've been wanting to own for a while. She would be so beautiful with a traditional Scandinavian outfit that maybe has some Sami people inspired details. My grandmother I'm sure has some traditional Sami national outfit materials stored away, just waiting for someone to sew from them as her rheumatism doesn't allow her to do it anymore. Maybe even I'd make a full Sami costume as respective to the culture as I can. Would make such lovely photos with a pale Eleanor in Lapland snowy landscapes.

      I'm dying for the image, but as much as I want, I'm afraid I am just not able to get her, not a full doll especially now that the corona virus is closing all flight traffic to our country and even though my profession is not currently in danger to lose their jobs, these times are financially very scary. I have a headless Dollshe 26f body just waiting for a perfect head though, and I'm sure I have a chance to get an Eleanor 2nd hand some day.

      There is an if though - I haven't been keeping track on how much vacation compensation I have gained during the past year, and if I recall right (I don't even remember lol) they will be paid next week. We who don't have any vacations in my country get a certain amount of extra money once a year based on how much we worked during past full year, and I have no idea how much it will be. If it is a happy surprise, I just might. Just. Might. Since her sales period goes on in April, I have plenty of time to be on the edge and accidentally fall, and maybe even grab that corset bust on the way. (This sounds a bit creepy when off the context).

    12. Eleanor's faceup C has just been added, and there also is a few 50's style suits, she reminds me of Joan from Mad Men with those suits and her curves. Im definitely going to get her an updo wig and some cigarettes to complete the look lol

I have my Serena package on hold with them because they are unable to send it to me by post (3 other EMS packages from 3 different companies in South Korea have been returned to sender, and one airmail package still hasnt left Korea or updated since the 26th of March...). I think the next couple of months will be a bit difficult

      I do however have Yvonne (!) and am working on showing the different resin shades in comparison, and have a body comparison in the works for anyone curious.

      Ive never purchased just clothes from them recently (I usually bundle it with my dolls), I did in the older days pre-dolls, but Im guessing with the amount of staff they have and the current projects they have on their plate, that they will take a bit longer. They are good with communication, so I would ask Q&A for any updates

      @Mahgiep I think, Im assuming that there will be a different type of body down the line, but I feel its too early right now. I remember them saying that they are working on a male body, and Im guessing he will debut this year, perhaps around the end of the year like they did with their female body last time?

      What kind of body were you wishing for ? I would write it down here, at least they would be able to see what kind of things people hope to see and maybe get ideas from it.

      Personally, speaking, I wish that for this halloween we get some fantasy skin colors like frankenstein green, devil red or zombie gray, but I think thats too much for a new company to handle since they probably have their own projects at the moment lol

    18. Thanks for all the info. I wrote to Jay and asked. The doll I would like to clothe in this suit is my IH nSID Nancy with small bust. I believe the large size is for EIDs but may also work for SID.

      I wish for:
      A tall boyish bodied girl with small bust who could wear contemporary flamboyant runway clothes as well as minimalist street clothes. All my dolls are Korean so I'd like a very obvious Asian look somewhat like a Phoenix doll Liu.

      I am really interested in the boy body and hope it appears sooner than later!

    20. Got a mail from Jay that my clothing order cannot be sent with airmail at this time. Only with EMS. He supposes that it will take some time til airmail is available again. So it´s either waiting or paying more for EMS. Well, I chose waiting, I am not in a hurry. And maybe I find other stuff that I can add to my order in the meantime :)

      "Yes, medium size will fit on SID small bust. Choose medium size for the skirt too. Skirt is very curvy so hip will be little bit loose but medium size will fit on SID body too."

      This was before I explained I have a new SID so I think this message is more relevant to you.

      After I explained about having a new SID:
      "Jacket fits on new SID too so you don't have to worry about it."

      I decided to get the jacket only with hat and purse in mint. I also asked them to hold the previous order (which was scheduled to ship today) until mail moves more normally. Feeling anxious enough these days!!!!

    22. Thanks a lot. This is great to know because I have large size in cart. Shipping is unpredictable. My Demiurge head "was in move" (but package was in custom processing via post in Russia) almost one month - I am Europe based. It is quite a new experience with globalization.
      So lots of patience and full package of health for everyone.

    32. Hallo, does anybody know/ remember Zakary head neck size? I had Zakary from first casting and want to end his floating head stage and put him on DollsTown 18y male body, but cant find Zakary "official" neck size. DT from 2018 is bigger than oldder body version, declared 11.3 cm now.
      If there is SartoriaJ hybrid with new version DT body (Zakary, Jude), pls share info or picture. Thx a lot.

    38. I think the most exciting news, other than the obviously amazing male body is that..

      There wont be any customs for EU owners for dolls purchased, and they are working on doing that for Australia, New Zealand and Canada too

      Im definitely going to get Jude on that body, in their amber beige skin. Looks like they will be slighly enlarging his head too.

      In the past, when the body was revealed for the female doll, there was a new headsculpt.... Im excited trying to imagine what the new sculpt might look like and what the fullset might be (Im hoping for someone in the royal family in their story!)... eager for any news, specially the hand sculpt!

    39. We here in Australia already don't pay customs for parcels under $1000 in value. So unless they plan on charging more than that for the body/future dolls, we should be fine. :sweat But that's good to hear for people in the EU, I know they get slugged some horrendous fees.

    41. I read that too, and I have a hard time to believe that. They know that. We know that. But I really and totally doubt that my local customs office will know - or acknowledge that. At least I have serious second thoughts about that, due to past experiences ... but I could ask them when I pick up my EID Leon in a few days. And if we need some kind of documentation to prove it.

    42. oh wow... that would be awesome for the UK... Canada does not pay "customs"... but sometimes they do stick us for "local" tax. Many ppl confuse the two because both are applied 'at' the customs office and they put on the label, But we can pay the delivery person (only with Visa I think) and the payment goes through the post office system.

    43. They replied back to me on instagram and said there will be a new head sculpt with the body release :love
      If its one thing I love about Sartoria J, other than the period outfits, its the unique looking noses.

      They also said there will be some boyfriend type clothes, so Im not sure what that means other than date night outfits, like tuxedo and blazer type outfits? Maybe this new character wont be a part of the Iron Crown series because there was no mention of it, but its too early to tell... I hope it means stylish and young outfits like Juun.J designer outfits or the ones you see on BTS, EXO etc

      .....I hope its not selfish of me to admit this, but I hope the Covid19 EMS thing gets resolved within the next few months.. I want to see Eleanor and my other purchases from Korea. Im just glad I have Yvonne as a full doll to keep me company. Im working on stringing Dollshe's 26F So I can show a comparison of the skintones and the body types, and some hybriding hopefully. I really love that they paint toe nails - I want to see more open toe heels for the heel leg!

      @Ashemanu please update us when you get a response, I know the customs is really horrible for UK, and Europe based on the comments I read here and elsewhere. Also congratulations on Leon, Ill keep my eye on the iplehouse thread for your post! I think Leon is one of the most underrated sculpts out there, and I love mine so much. If its alright to ask, I would love to know what skintone you got him in :)

    46. Finally working on getting my oddly-colored Yvonne head a body! Going to get Impldoll to do a custom color - hopefully I can get a good match. Planning to start figuring out her faceup too, I really want an Egyptian-inspired girl but I'm not sure if it's gonna be her or Carina yet.

    50. @Sianserais They did mention that the shoulders were wider than EID, and I really do like his waistline/curves, but Im hoping he is taller! Im guessing because they actually labeled the body as athletic body, that theres a possibility of other types of bodies in the coming future.

      @Mahgiep thats what I thought too! I had to reread to make sure I didnt imagine it, but the boyfriend type outfits are for the male body XD I would be so happy if they made young looking trendy clothes, Ive never seen it done for the EID/Dollshe/"Muscle" line before.

      I was going to ask if they would consider high heel feet, but I dont think it would realistically sell? What do you all think? I was thinking heeled feet like Idealian's 75 line would be interesting, specially with his dancer body

      He has such a beautiful nose! Zackary and Jude being rereleased with Jarrod, Im guessing either end of month or the beginning of next month. Theres no indication of it, but I hope the Iron Crown series continues, because I want to see Jaime Lannis- err Jarrod's fullset. I love that he looks like a classical soap opera actor.

      Im definitely getting Jarrod but I cant decide between getting him in white or tan..

    51. So do you think the neck is bigger on this body or smaller than EID? I know they are different because both neck holes have changed for Jude and Zakary.
      I'm having trouble deciding what color I want but I know I want a body and new Zakary head because I doubt I can afford a whole new doll now unless more of my heads can share. But I think the color and possibly neck size will limit sharing a body.

      Of course a purchase for me will depend on the aesthetic, what clothes work, and most of all poseability.

    52. @Mahgiep Ill do a comparison for you hopefully in the next few days, of the skin colors (I have tan, but I also got the little resin swatch). Im not sure their coloring will be similar, but I was surprised that copper oriental glow is a very good match to their new amber skin. They are also going to introduce a new darker skintone with his release from what I read on instagram

      They mentioned that overall the body is in between Dollshe's 28M and Iplehouse's EID, and that they can share clothes, but going with what you said and the general look, Im thinking he is closer to Dollshe's 28M body in measurements, with wider shoulders and bigger chest. I am assuming that if you use the older heads, you would need a neck donut? Complete assumptions from me though.

      I know you purchased a Zackary head from them in the past, and you said you wanted a body only, they have a promotion for past head purchasers of getting a free head and faceup when you buy the body, and it doesnt need to be in the same skin color as the head you purchased in the past. Ill do a comparison of the white and normal resin I have with the resin swatches so you can see if the body will be hybrid friendly :) Ill set everything up today so I can post it tomorrow lol!

    53. Yes, I planned on the body deal with free head if everything aligns. I think I'll go wild and order a #3 Zakary with facial hair for fun. Poor Camellia (IH Aria) will have to choose between brothers. So if I possibly need a donut, that means the original head hole is bigger than Jarrad? I actually bought one a while ago and have a second one for Chocolate Cookie (Rosen Garden is so great!).
