Hi Does anyone know how the resin match is between Sadoll and April Story?
I am considering getting an April Story body (female) but I dislike their hands, and i fell in love with Sadoll's hands. Anyone know if the hands will look good on an April Story body (female)?

Hope someone can help me

Looks like I'll be joining this thread. I ordered a love60 Yena. She'll be my first sd girl. I've been searching for the perfect girl for a very long time, and when I saw Yena I just knew she was the one. I didn't hesitate to buy her.

 

I'm going to be ordering a love60 body for my Switch girl head. I'll have to wait a couple weeks to order her but I'm pretty excited.

 

Can anybody tell me what tops and bottoms fit Love60 bodies?

My Kyeoru is paid off!! Now the real waiting begins.

 

Omg! I got my shipping notice! Less than a month, they were super fast. I can't wait to see my beautiful girl. I want to spoil her.

 

Wow less than 2 weeks after I paid him off my Kyeoru has made it home. I'm very impressed by their shipping time. So quick!! He's a bit loose, but I think he's going to be a very good poser. Just look at my boy I'll post more pics of him fully clothed soon. I had to show my Matthew sitting all cute.

 

I received my beautiful Yena. I named her Seraphina. Sadol is amazing. I love the resin and Sadol has the best default face ups I've ever seen. I also really love the outfit I ordered with my girl. The quality is amazing. I didn't know that she would come with her high heel legs strung. The shoes I ordered are meant to wear with her flat feet. I'll have to do some shopping for some heels. I don't feel up to restringing her right now.

My boy got a face-up today! I'll take photos when it's not dark. He's beautiful.

 

I am very interested to hear about this body (Love60). How to you switch out the heel leg? I can't believe she has to be restrung to do that. Way too difficult for me. I do love their clothing, perfection.

 

I haven't taken the heel legs off my girl yet. You should just be able to remove the heel legs and put the normal legs on. You'll need something to keep the s hook from shooting up into her channels though. I suggesting using a pair of hemostats. It seems easy enough but when actually going through the process ehh..not so much. The Love60 body has a different stringing system than other dolls and as long as you don't take her thighs off you should be okay. The love60 body is really beautiful and graceful. I love how solid it is and how there seems to be no fussing with her when I pose her. I feel like the love60 body is so simple that it's amazing. Sometimes, there's just no need for all those extra joints...

I'm thinking about ordering a SoDam head on the 60cm body. I hope I can save enough money to buy her next spring ^_^

 

Does anyone know how to restring Sadol Honey 63 body??

I need to restring her but the leg part is quite tricky. I end up done it for three times but it doesn't feel right....TvT
She can't sit properly and the thing parts are always disposition so I think this is where the problem is and the torso part as well since this body is single torso made twice harder to restring.

So again...Does anyone know how to do it properly, I bought this body second handed so I don't have any assemble tutorial with me TvT

After having such awful luck with SQ Labs, I decided I should just get a Sadol Love body for my LM Gloomy Sophia (once she gets here of course!) Can anyone, who own both Sadol and Little Monica, tell me if the resin match is alright? Specifically for Normal Skin. I know their WS matches beautifully, but I've not heard of the former being hybridized.

Does anyone know when the Star70 bodies will be back in stock and if they can be purchased without a head?

Also, I'm interested in hybriding a Dollshe fresh skin Pabo head on the Star70 body...does anyone know if Dollshe heads will fit on this body and if there's a Fresh skin match? Thanks!!

 

No idea on when the boys will come back. I miss them.
There is at least one white Byeol-Ha available, and for Dollshe Fresh, I'd think Sadol white is a lot closer than Normal, and those are the only two resin colors I have seen Sadol release the boys in.
As for getting the body without head, they did sell them that way before, so my guess would be they might again, whenever that is.
The only Dollshe head I have is Rosen, but I could get a photo for you. Unfortunately, my Rosen is in Ebony, and the Star 70 body in Normal, so not even close for resin match.

 

Darn how long have they been out of stock? ;_; Oh well...i guess it gives me time to do research and save up. The only resin match I've seen is oriental and normal and they seem very close so I hope the white skin would work!
I would absolutely love a picture of your Rosen on the star 70 body! Rosens head is about the same size as Pabo so that would be so helpful for me, even if the color is different. Thanks so much, you've been really helpful!

 

Sorry it's blurry, turns out it actually WAS too dark to take pictures today. lol
The head fits nicely and has great mobility in all directions with no trouble whatsoever. It's a really good call, imho!
The two are actually similar in height and build. Somehow I never noticed.
My apologies, but I didn't feel up to taking all the clothes off the top half.

LOL, sadly, the opposite is NOT true! The Kyeoru head does not look good on the DollShe Pure body. heh heh At least, not without a neck modding!

I have a sadol yena on a 63 honey body. She's very beautiful. There are not many I have found that compare to her beauty (personal opinion). However, I do find her hard to stand on both types of feet and her legs are a bit kicky. Not sure if it's because I don't play with her much but I still love her. She's amazing.

 

So per Qwuilleran's suggestion, I messaged Sadol and asked when they would be selling white skin Han Wool on the Star 70 body again (I think my hybrid is out the window after all because Han Wool is too cute). Sadol answered promptly and said they're on sale now...so I went to look and Sadol had set the status back to for sale PLUS they added white skin as an option! O__o Wow, it pays to ask! Just wanted to let anyone who's interested in one of the sold out dolls--maybe just ask!

So the doll I'd like to reshell with the Han Wool has very poor mobility. Is the Star 70 body poseable?

 

I think it is. Sometimes my boy gets fussy and needs his strings tightened and maybe new glue sueding, but yeah, overall I would say they are pretty good!

 

That's good to know! I'm going to ask Sadol about those amazing jointed hands in white skin as well. Does anyone have the jointed hands? What do you think of them? They look beautiful--very graceful. I'm also wondering if Sadol will have a holiday event. Crossing my fingers!

yeap! It's Operation Vatican set. Sadly it was limited, but we are planning to release in further future -u-b!

 

I'm getting a Love60 Body for my LM head and I have a question about the layaway process >< Does Sadol start making the dolls/body on your first payment or does it have to be completed before they work on it? (I'm doing a 2 month layaway btw).

Good news: Sadol answered my question about layaway and for those curious, they start production on your first payment

Bad news: Their English website is down...

I was ready to pay for my order, too It seems like they used up their server space (as seen on the error messages at the very bottom) and there have been no announcements made by Sadol themselves on FB or Twitter on when the English 'site is going online again... *sighs*

 

So, I'm thinking about putting a Fairyland Feeple60 Elf Rin head on a Sadol 60 Love Girl body, but I'm not sure how the resin'll match or how the head will look, does anyone have a sadol 60 girl body and a Feeple60 fairyland head that they can take pictures of or whatnot? Thanks!

 

I don't have a Feeple60 head but I can tell you that Fairyland NS resin is pretty close to Sadol NS. Fairyland's resin is just a bit peachier. It's a fairly decent match and with a little blushing you won't be able to notice the difference. I was surprised about how good they looked together. My only issue is that Fairyland's resin has a smoother texture than Sadol's and looks a bit shiny next to the Sadol resin. I prefer the look and feel of Sadol's resin much more.

I was wondering if anyone would be kind enough to tell me how well does Sadol's WS match with Little Monica's WS? (In terms of Resin matching, as well as body proportions please)
Also, could I bother you guys for some pictures of this hybrid? Or at least an explanation as to how well LM neck circ. matches with Sadol bodies?

so measurement is... 25cm for blade and 5cm for hilt! So with scabbard, think it as... about rougly 33cm!

Just a question for you all: Does anyone know what head sculpt this doll that's modelling this limited outfit is? Is it new? I haven't paid much attention to this company in the past, but DANG that is a nice sculpt.

Hello! I have a quick question, can anyone tell me about Sadol's layaway? Does it require a doll being purchased? I'm wanting to grab a bunch of their soon to be discontinued clothes and was hoping I could layaway them.

That being said, does anyone know if a Luts SDF head will fit on the body? (Don't worry about the color, but if you have that info that's nice too) Thanks a ton!

 

SADOL STAR70 body neck circumference is 11 cm.
and about LUTS SDF body, check Welcome to LUTS - Ball Jointed Dolls (BJD) company.
If those neck circumference are same, then a LUTS SDF head would fit on the SADOL STAR70.
I have no idea about S-hook hole though, hope it helps.
