Omg....dont' tell me that lol! I have a Nkiru on pre-order already..... I wish i had snapped up a Eloy but a Morfeo relation would definitely do it....

Hmmm.....good luck with that....isnt there as saying about resistance being futile? Maybe that is just in my house!

 

If anyone is curious about more hybrid options for rumpeldoll heads. Here is a picture of my boys. My abaddon on an Akagidoll body and Morfeo on a lumedoll body

 

Ree got a temporary style change before being moved to a bust (to await his Akagidoll body)! This was the skater kid look I had going for my April Story Cheon head but I moved him to a bust to work on wig construction. I can't stand having headless bodies around, so Ree got to hang out for a while as a skater ratto lol

I love the skater Ratto look Emac, and am swooning over the photo of Abaddon on the Akagidoll body. I would definitely like him on my wish list!
I have been making progress on my Moth Boy Edison. I plan on making him a leather flying helmet type of headware but you will get the vintage vibe that i am aiming for with him.

I wanted to make him a non scary, somewhat 'geeky,' Vampire Moth and was hoping that I would be able to pull it off - projects sometimes don't work out how we plan do they, but thankfully he did.

I collect a few artist bears as well as bjds and have a few moth repellents around the room to deter them from eating the mohair on the bears. I will out of necessity have to sit Edison with a big bear when he arrives due to lack of space, so wanted to try and give him a story that would tie in with this.

I love your moth guy! I'm holding out for another release of Morfeo. (I also am waiting for Abby!)

 

I too was waiting for the next release of Morfeo but was lucky to secure him on the secondary Market. One of the things that I love the most about this sculpt is the fact that he looks as good in profile as he does from the front, and that is surprisingly rare.
I have sold dolls before that I just did not like in profile, as no matter where I put them, their appeal gradually waned over time. To have a doll that appeals from every angle is wonderful!

That is often the best way when we desperately want a doll. I don't intend on missing out on Abby this time like I did Morfeo. I will give her a Borrowers character and call her Arrietty!

I really like Abbadon but don't have a character that I could give him right now, or a body so I won't go down that road just yet unless one falls into my lap and then it would be rude not to!

 

Ree’s Akagidoll body has shipped from ACBJD! I can’t wait to get it in. I still have a free face-up from AngelToast so I might use it for Ree and get him all settled finally!

 

I also have Rumpel Doll Abaddon Actually I have two heads of Abaddon, but they are the same character. He is like a demon, so he has his normal demony head and a head for when he pretends to be human.

I really like this head so much Now with the new preorder I am considering to buy one more, but I think I have enough with two heads

This is the demon version. The clothes are not right - he needs a suit, but it was what I had that fitted him. His eyes and wigs are what i imagined om him, so that is right

Ahhhh, I love the variety of fantasy creatures people turn Morfeo into!

My poor Morfeo, Howell, has been sitting around body-less for months, due to a lack of funds and indecision. (I want something tall and lanky for him, but I have a hard time with male SD sculpts.) He's a púca, though, so I just tell myself that he's doing his best impression of a dullahan.

 

I just submitted my order request for a gray Morfeo. he is going to be a vampire and be the half brother to Hyde (my Abaddon) who is a werewolf. I love monster boys

 

Congrats! I'm getting a gray Morfeo as well. No plans for him, just found the sculpt cute.
Still body hunting, and I'm considering a resinsoul body, but I've got time.

I've also ordered an Abaddon head. I do not know who he is yet, which is unusual for me as I normally have an OC made already. I'm excited to figure out what part he plays during the wait.

I ordered another Morfeo, this time in Fresh skin. I just couldn't resist! I don't know if I'll sell my Oriental resin Morf or keep both and make them two versions of the same character or what... I really want an Abadon too but I don't know if I have the funds... When does the pre-order close again?

 

@emac Congrats on Morfeo! I think it is very nice to have multiple heads for the same character, so I think that would be a good idea for your heads.

My demon boy dresses as a human when he needs to get around without being discovered, so I have two heads for my boy. Some time ago I showed his demon face and here is his human face:



I love the Abaddon sculpt so much I am considering how to add more heads to my character :P

I can never seem to keep male dolls so I instantly knew she had to be female. I really love to see the diversity in Morfeo owner photos. I really love that the mold can be boyish or rough and tough.

Hey guys, I am currently looking for wigs for my preordered Morfeo. The head is 8 inches and I am often a bit conflicted between wig sizes. I discovered a wig-style I crave on ebay and they offer the following two options:

"Size: 1/4 7-8" = 18-19cm
"Size: 1/3 8-9" = 22-24cm

I am unsure whether to take the bigger or smaller one? I am still a newbie and want to make the perfect choice haha
And thought this would be an opportunity to generally ask what wig-sizes you use on your Morfeo-heads.

I would go with an 8/9. If it is too big, they can still wear the wig. You can also try to find an 8/8.5 but half sizes are a bit harder to find. I'm in the same boat with a few of the heads I have.

Hi ! Does anybody here tried to put 14mm eyes on his Morfeo ? I have small iris 14mm eyes and I would like to put them on my new boy, but I'm afraid it doesn't fit his "eyes holes".. ^^'

I love my Abaddon. I haven't felt the enthusiasm for a long time ...

 

I'm so excited because I just order a Morfeo head. I was actually talking to somebody on instagram that was selling a Morfeo head but the head was on hold. So I saw an old post from November from the artist on Instagram so I decided to ask her if she still had any Morfeo heads available for sale. I got lucky because she only had one left in grey resin, so I order him. I been wanting one since a few years back but I always miss the preorder period.


I hope the wait is not to long and at least to get him by early January. It will take me a long time to get him a body or have him complete, but I'm very happy to at least own the head. Now I need to look for some grey skin bodies that will match and fit the Morfeo head.

Can somebody please tell me the eye size and wig size of Morfeo? I will be very grateful

I currently use 14mm eyes and size 8-9 wigs, though some of the 8-9 wigs are too big.

Thank you for the picture he is so cute. I'm glad those scars are all he got. I accidently dropped a bjd a few years ago and it got cracked.

I just got a shipping notice from the artist. My Morfeo head was already send. It was so fast. I'm very esxcited

 

It took exactly a month but my Morfeo head finally made is home. He is so CUTE!!! I hope some day to send him to get a face up and get him a body. The white wig 8-9 I had where to big on him. I tried a few 7-8 mohair wigs I had on him and they fit perfectly.

I name him Nosferatu....maybe :p

 

Reviving this old thread because I'm currently looking for a male bust to display my Morfeo head but unfortunately my search hasn't been going very well.
So is there even a resin bust out there that fits the neck and proportions of the Morfeo head?

 

I have him on a Mirodoll male SD bust right now Bc that’s what was available out of my collection of busts, but the neck is really too short for it to be elegant. It’s utilitarian — it gets the job done, no frills lol. My LoongSoul and Doll Zone Devon busts are much nicer, and they fit Morf just fine IMO.

@emac Thank you very much for the comparison photos! I agree, the Mirodoll bust looks too short but fortunately, the ones from LoongSoul + Dollzone seem to have the right proportions.
I'd love to display my Morfeo on a bust, the head sculpt is just too beautiful to just keep him in a dark box all the time

 

I was able to purchase a Morfeo in Fresh secondhand, I've been eyein' one of these boys for a while and Im SO excited to finally have one!

I'm doing a short layaway on him, so the boy will wait a little while to come home, but thats okay.

 

Has anyone tried Abaddon on on the Timeless body please? Just curious as he seems to work on the Dollstown 18 well and they are a similar size.

 

I finally did my Abaddon's faceup! He needs a wig and I want him to have green eyes but I'm pleased enough with my amateur work. He's on a very old Soom Supergem body, which is a very poor color match but great proportions.

 

The Timeless body has such a different neck shape than all other doll bodies, due to how the bulb of the neck is sculpted to fit the Venitu head (which is made to connect to the neck at the back of the head rather than the center like other heads/bodies). So Abaddon won't even fit on Timeless without modifications. I have my Abaddon on the way back from a faceup, though, so if all you're looking for is a comparison of body proportions to the head, I can get you a pic of the head "near" the neck -- but I can't put it on the neck, it just won't fit.

 

I am now thinking of the Dollstown 15 body for Abaddon, not sure if it would be too lean looking.I have been looking an excuse to get that body for years as I like the way it looks. My Abaddon head is not here yet which makes it a little difficult to figure it out.

I think he's pretty.

@emac Oh that's one spicy boy! I love that hybrid! Thanks for the photo! I might grab one for my Abaddon, since he's a bit too short on his soom supergem for his character.

 

Finally got around to slapping some cash down for a body for my Morph. I'm getting him the DZ B60. He still doesn't have a face yet, but I wanted to practice on my other head first. I got him eyes though. I saw a picture on Pinterest of a guy and I immediately said, "That. That is what my Morph looks like." Don't know if I'll be able to swing that faceup, but I'm gonna try.

 

I'm not sure how I never came upon this thread! I have a grey Abaddon head. Love him so much. We're waiting on his body to arrive from Dollshe. So that might still take quite some time...

I am a little undecided on the name as I am currently unsure of which character he plays in my story. I have to best friends though I might change that to brothers. So not sure which he is. I'm seriously considering adding the morfeo to my collection as well... I just can't resist those ears and sweet face.
