What eye size and wig size is he? You know when I ordered Mine I didn't think to ask!

My Morfeo is a lady and she wears 12mm eyes and a 8/9 wig.

 

I am waiting on an Abaddon. I also will be jumping on Morfeo when he is released again (I was told he would be, they just didn't know when).

What bodies do you have them on?

I ordered my Abaddon in the last preorder so it will be a while before I get him. I do want a Morfeo also at some point

I just got the shipping notice for my Morfeo... But he has no body waiting so he'll be a floating head for a while! I ordered him on a whim because of his odd bat ears. They're great!

I don't have any male dolls but I knew I had to have Morfeo xD Lukcily he makes a great characteristic lady.

She is on the old Supia body. I can't really say anything about the fit because I had modded the neck to be a lot thinner and for Morfeo I had to make it thicker again hhaha. But the resin match is very nice, but the Supia body is super old so this info probably isn't worth anything hahaha.

And yeah Morfeo got sold first, but I think only 9-10 got sold that first time. Rumpel was a bit reluctant because it is their dear character and also because they didn't know if he would even sell.
I had been following them since they first posted WIPs and I was one of the people who continuously let them know I would absolutely buy one if he would be released.
A lot of people missed out that first time (I sent an email like 10 seconds after the order date came haha) so I'm glad there have been more pre-orders and that there will be more.

 

I could not make up my mind about ordering him during the first release. When I made up my mind, his order period had closed. I completely missed the second release But that is why I made sure to order Abaddon rather than wait. I do like him too.

This is my Morfeo, Màni

I got him during the in-stock sale back in September. He was my bday gift to myself he wears a 22cm wig from tata's paradise that I trimmed (head circ. 21cm), he's on an old dollshe pure/classic body in fresh skin (it's slightly yellowed but that's normal since the body itself is from 2012) and he wears a pair of 12mm resin eyes handmade by the lovely @Cyador.
I am curious to see how he looks on my recently acquired DZ B70-003 body in pink skin, but I've been too busy lately. I'll keep you posted if I get to switch his head with my Little Rebel Sarang, who's currently on the DZ body.

I got my Morfeo head in the grey resin and I'm super happy!! Now just a body.. I'm not to fond of the dollstown or dollshe bodies, so I have been looking for another body to use. Anyone know if the "modern grey" matches any other doll companies out there? And I would love to see more of your rumpeldoll creations

 

I got a message that the Abaddon heads have arrived and will be shipping out soon. I'm very excited, even if my poor guy will probably be bodiless for a long time. Unless he happens to match something here, but I don't know who would be willing to give up their body, lol.

 

I missed the delivery yesterday since no one was home. I have to go pick up the head today after I pick up my car. I can't wait to see him in person!

 

I am still working out a name for him, but he's here!

I would like to join the discussion XD here is a picture of my Morfeo with a faceup by Hortus Conclusus. He is on the Akagidoll body. I have an Abaddon too but I have to get him a faceup.

I found a Morfeo head! I'm so excited, you guys! It's in oriental resin -- which looks kind of dark on the pics -- so I am not sure where to look for resin matches.

The seller says it's lighter in person, so I'm going to hold off buying a body until I see it, but in the meantime does anyone here own a Rumpeldoll oriental head?

@emac Thank you! And I own oriental Morfeo and Abaddon. It is a pretty pretty dark normal skin actually. It matches well with my Akagidoll. And April story normal is pretty okay too.If you were thinking of a normal pink skin company like dollzone it will be darker than that.

I will be getting my Abaddon who is grey on Friday and I can let you know is Soom grey is similiar. I was thinking of a soom supergem hybrid if I don't manage to get any other bodies in grey. I was thinking of a dollshe mystic body for him too but I don't know if the neck will fit. hmmmmmm. Anyone have an Abaddon and a Dollshe Mystic or arsene body they want to try for me?

 

My Morfeo has arrived! The random wig and red eyes were mostly just for fun, but they're both growing on me...

I bought an Akagidoll body after @KiwiNinamori recommended it, so I can't wait for it to arrive. I may put Morf on my Mirodoll body in the meantime, though, because I just love him so much and want him to have a body! Sorry Siobhán (shown in the background, contemplating how he's about to be banished back to his bust lol)

Welp, guess who did nothing but play with dolls this evening? :P Morf (I have GOT to think of a better name for him lol) did indeed end up stealing Siobhán's body and promptly wrapped himself in raggedy clothes.

Thanks for the thread! I've added the few pics I have of my hybrid so far.

I was playing with a name generator and came up with various names I liked (not just for Morf/Morph). But these are the front-runners for my street rat:

Reijo
Radim
Radya
Radek
Radimek
Radovan

Obviously there's a bit of a pattern here lol

 

Those are all some great names. That first one I was pronouncing like "Reo". not sure how you'd do it. From that list, I really like Radim. Not sure what it is about it though XD

 

I was saying the first one like “Ray-joe”, but “Ray-oh” is fair. I was leaning towards the longer ones (Radimek, Radovan) because they could have nicknames — maybe Radim is the nick for Radimek?

 

I touched up Hyde's face up a bit to make it a little darker. He keeps getting washed out in pics.

I thought i would share my recent Morfeo addition. I gave him a new face-up today. I have called him Edison.....he is to be a Vampire 'Moth' - not sure if there is such a thing lol, but there is now Now i just have to find him a body!

Hey guys!!! I finally made it here lol I came to see @Saraht 's lovely boy, and I forgot how many lovely Rumpeldolls there were around here that I knew and loved xD
So here is my frilly boy, Silvi Baudelaire. He's a fairy (who needs wings xD) and I have him on the Dollstown 15 body. The neckhole is a little big for the neck but I just made a neck donut and now hes perfect (in my eyes)

The glasses! The hair! The little fangs! Please share your secrets of where you sourced the glasses and wig btw. And your face up is amazing!

 

Your boy is adorable! How much of the coloring is post-prod on the photo and how much is in real life? I ask because I love to see really heavily shaded blushing/face up jobs like that.

 

Oh its mostly how he looks in real life. xD All my dolls are really heavily blushed. My most "tan" doll is a hybrid doll with a paper white head and a creamy white body xD
Anyway, this is Silvi in terrible lighting but not as edited as the first. He's fresh skin but I freckled him with rusty pinks and burnt oranges diluted and then i blushed on top of that. That white spot on his index finger knuckle is actually where his sealant rubbed off xD so its his original color underneath

Thank you! This was the second face up I gave him as the first just didn't work for me. The wig is from BlueberryStyle on Etsy and the glasses are from ForeverVirginiaShop on Etsy and are printed acetate ones that you cut out with scissors and come on a sheet. I use a little bit of moleskin to stick the ends of the arms behind his ears.

 

Which size wig did you get?

 

I think it's an 8/9. I bought it second hand. It is slightly on the loose side. The seller is very nice as I have since bought another wig from her. It might be worth sending the head measurement to her to double check.

Is it just me, or does this sculpt look like a cousin or younger sibling to Morfeo??

The almond-shaped eyes and tiny fangs just make me think of a more mischievous Morfeo! The ears could be modded to be even closer... Someone is selling the head online and I'm tempted haha

I was also thinking that the head Twigling is working on right now looks like is could be related to Morfeo. The eyes feel like they have a familial similarity to me.

 

I could have a whole family of Morfs! Must resist... lol
