I agree, if I buy any resin it will be from Rosenlied. I have not given up, but not getting anymore. I am back in vinyl. Easier to get, sell and cheaper in most cases.

I was wondering if their eyes are worth buying? Any feedback? Is it true to colour?
Am sorely tempted in getting a few pair in their new glass~ ^^

 

they are one of the more expensive of the ones i collect, but their basic tuesdays are the a few dollars less than a basic littlefee from fairyland, and the basics mondays only a few dollars more than a basic pukifee so definitely not outrageous! (not like the enyo doll that i would really love one day that runs $6-700 for a monday sized doll!)

 

akiumie - I own several pairs of Rosen Lied eyes, and I love them. The quality is superb. I use them for other dolls too, with really good results. Especially the colors, they are so unique and beautiful in person.

 

My Holiday's Child girl finally arrived today~!

I'll be putting more photos and discussion on her in the Wednesday's Child thread as I assume that's the better place to discuss the Holiday's Child size, but thought I'd throw a comparison photo in here with a Tuesday's Child girl!
Sorry the photos are a bit dark! Had zero natural light when I opened her and I'm kind of sick right now so my hands are too shaky for giant cameras.

I have to say something about these holiday dolls. Awhile back I said I didn't like them and they have weird faceups. Well I didn't know what I was talking about. I was thinking the holiday dolls were those fair tale dolls or what they were called where they have a very basic and strange face. The holiday ones look like Rosen Lied but are just a different size. I don't know how I missed this and I have since looked at all the holiday dolls and they are really nice. I may have been tempted if I had known.

Also on the Rosen Lied eyes,no they are really nice quality and I have ordered a bunch and used the. For other dolls as well as the Rosen Lied. I like my dolls with the white showing so quite often I change them for a smaller size. They were pricey though.

 

midnitestar7:you got The One!! So lucky! She's gorgeous! And her dress!! I love dresses from rosenlied! So much effort is put into them, particularly the one off ones!
I quite like the holiday child size, I think the height just makes it small enough to be classified in DoA's Tiny section. I like the proportions!

Thank you all Normally I am not that fond of these very light face ups, but her cute face somehow appealed to me - she looks so very doll-like. And when I translated pansy into German and noticed that these are one of my favorite flowers, I totally fell in love with her

Hi folks, thank you for the compliments for my Chocolats, I think the mold is so adorable. I like all TC dolls to be honest I want a Harmony so bad now. One day I can try to take pics of all my TC girls (and boy) but it might come out awful, it's difficult for me to take pictures, especially of more than one doll. My first Tuesday was a Beige, still one of my favorites sculpts.

 

Beige is my favourite Tuesday sculpt and one I intend to bring home soon.

 

Beige is my favorite too! Here she is Christmas day, 2009. She was from my husband, and is still one of my very favorite dolls.

@Tami E: I'm struggling to insert images here too, but this is how I do. You know that place where you can favorite a picture? With a star? Next to the star there are some icons. A balloon (to post a comment) and next to it there is this square with an arrow (?). You click there and select html and copy it with "control C".

You will have something like this:

After watching Frozen, I finally came up with names for my RL girls....Elsa ( Maret ) and Anna (Clover). I don't have them dressed in character, but definitely the names fit. Poor Anna's eyes do not photograph well.

Hello everyone!
I'm stumbling in here because very recently I have recieved Rosalie - a Wednesday's Child 'Flora' - and I think she is such a beautiful doll, Rosenlied is amazing!
Have some picture spam.



She still looks very basic, because she arrived with the wrong wig and so far I didn't get around to sewing for her! And she needs a body blushing, too. She's sitting next to my tomboy Valeska, on whose face up I should probably touch up a little and add definition, especially in the mouth area, so they fit together a little better. The contrast between super-cute young lady and dishevelled boyish kid is totally intended, though.

Here is her box opening with a small story included.

Has anyone seen the new TC? Viola? What did you think of her? I think she's cute but not as much as the others. She's the only one of the limited that is not sold out...

 

I forgot they were offered today. Viola is beautiful. I am surprised she is still available.

I don't think Viola is as pretty as some of the other Tuesday sculpts, but I see she's going to be released as a basic in May so it'll be interesting to see her with a simpler faceup.
