Ahhh beautiful Love the new pices of the blue. I want one soooo much. Don't know If I'll be able to get one..maybe I'll put myself on the wait list to see if I can get the money up anyways.

These robot girls are awesome (blue is always a winner), but who is that doll in the background of the picture? I know's it's all blurry, but it looks an awful lot like Donn's (of Bishonen House) new guy sculpt!

 

Wow, that Decepticon one with the black lining is really awesome. I love the contrast. =3

Wow, just this morning I thought, "How can some people have so many dolls? When my girl gets here-she'll be the only one I need!", then I came here and saw your amazing work. Oh, and I have a question. You know how the lines and such are colored, like, the white one has blue touches? Well, I was woundering if you could request other colors, maybe grey, or something other than the blue?

I absolutely love the body... it is so detailed, and fantastic.. OMG@!

 

To give you an idea of what the line is like, I was put on the list about a week ago and I'm number 60. XD I requested an estimate about when my robot girl would be made and she said next spring, depending on if people drop out of the list or not.

 

I could likely swing that!

 

I cant believe that the list is so long. But hey! The doll rocks! Its quite unique, and very beautiful! I'm more amazed at how long it will take for the dolls to get out. Batchix needs to get a crew! Make herself a company!

Lovely work. But Batchix, please be careful! Resin sensitivity gets worse with repeated exposure... and it's potentially life-threatening. Okay, only if you're stupid or stubborn enough to keep exposing yourself to the stuff after it's already given you asthma... but I'm sure you don't want to get anywhere near that point. And the less direct contact you have, the more likely you'll be able to keep working with resin safely.

Sigh. I apologize for the preachiness, and for bringing up unpleasant stuff you probably already know.

 

I agree with Logodae, and have worried about you and your resin-reactions since you made one of your Dark Castle boys and had a bad breakout. you need a Level 2 Containment Suit. or something. gloves and gauntlets up to the armpit? vacuum cleaner (with micro filters) to suck dust out of the air as you work and afterwards so stray bits don't get on you - or in you. *sneezes*

They remind me of Ghost in the Shell especially without the eyes and the Jenova statue in FFVII I'm really wanting one of these dolls now. Arg I'm going to have to break the promise to my mother of only getting two I have no character for her though even so I'd just have her anyway to be my lil robot girl *hugs one* Definately going to have to invest in one I hope they're still around.

 

Yes, do be careful. These robot girls are awesome, but we'd all rather have you be safe than risking your health to make them.

Haha, I already thought of a name for mine. I think I'll name her Ai for love/artificial intelligence. =3 Not terribly clever, but cute.

 

He he that is actually quite clever I actually wouldn't have thought of that myself. I've thought of a name almost. It's going to be in leet speak then she can be reffered to as a number but also have a name (I'm thinking of this and I haven't even got one yet I dnt even know if theyre still being made )

I was also wondering if anyone knew is it possible to repaint them with the colour you want? Just curious

It's such a looooong wait I haven't considered her name, I do all my name hunting on baby name search sites once I get a meaning I want in mind. I do however have a pretty good idea how I want to paint her though (in my sig)

I don't see any reason that she couldn't be painted any less than other dolls, with lots of sealant it should be fine, I am going to suede her joints to help keep the paint from scratching off.

Bats, your gunmetal girl is a work of art. I used to curate a University art gallery and would have been thrilled to show her in any of our exhibits.

Shes okay as from an art view, but i dont see dolls in that kinda way, must have been hard to make though. Ill give u alot of congrats for that and good luck selling her.

The gunmetal girl is just beautiful. It's a good thing I can't afford bidding on her, because I would probably just sit and stare at her all day, day dreaming of faraway sci-fi worlds...

 

Eeeeeee, look at all those little robot girls together~ For some reason, the white ones always seem to be in a more sad looking pose. But it's neat to see the rage of emotions they can show. Confused, playful, sad, and that Pink one glared like no other.

Just take care of yourself, Bats! It's worth the wait for them. :3

 

Just a pervy observation on the male body: Since he's mechanical, you should make *it* look like a real faucet....

 

Batchix, I would be happy to buy that "junk" male torso off you! XD (if you were willing to sell it of course) Because I have had minimal success in creating a body for my poor L-bi Dozing and he's supposed to be an android any way! :3

I like the male body. 8D I don't know if it should have noticeable genitalia though, since it's a robot. It's up to you, but it doesn't seem that the female has anything down below, so the male shouldn't have anything either, or at least not anything overly detailed.

 

Batchix! I know of you from KiSS! You were a huge inspiration to me when I started KiSSing. (My artist name is Jessi, but I doubt you know of me.)

I had no idea you were so talented in other areas! This is simply amazing.
