She reminds me of a character I once designed for a steampunk/cyberpunk manga that I never actually did get around to finishing. *huge cyberpunk and steampunk fan* I'd die to have a cast of her, blue or white. I think I need to ask my Mom for a Christmas present... that or acutally find some place around here willing to employ a 17 year old ((honestly, how much harder can it get to get a job around here??? I'm 17, one year over the legal working age! and I still can't find ANY place to apply to work at *sobs*))[/rant]. I seriously want her badly tho'. You better keep selling her long enough for me to get one!!!

    20. She's so incredible, Batchix! She's like the perfect combination of two different space/robot dolls my partner and I had when we were kids--reborn! You've given us back part of our 80's style metallic-lace space future princess childhood, only cooler.

      Just got put on the mailing list today, but already we have names, ideas, everything for her!

      Something to get us through the winter, waiting for!

      a reminder~ If you want a doll PLEASE email me or pm me to get on the wait list! It's getting kind of long, so if you're worried about needing to save up you should have plenty of time. :sweat

      The first five people have been contacted and so the wait is on! I will hopefully have the first batch of resin in this week to show you all what the blue will look like.

      here's a sneak of the gun metal girl who will hopefully go up on ebay at the end of the month. She's a ooak, the gun metal was just too hard for me to work with. x_x so no more full gun metal dolls. maybe ones with some gun metal parts but not full. X3

      Try to answer a few questions people had!

      Tosspot: Sure! Just send me a pm. :3 I prefer paperclay to just about anything anymore. n.n;;

      petiteballerina: question for Bats: what have you decided to do with the fingernail issue? I sort of like the glove effect with no nails. maybe rivets along the side? oh, anything you decide, I know I'll love.

      I decided no fingernails this time around. Her original fingers are SO tiny and SO delicate that I couldn't really do anything to them either. So I may do some edits on some resin casts and recast them with more lines. :3 Her hands are, at the moment, the hardest thing to cast period.

      Truffles: Yes there will eventually be a Beta head... and probably a boy doll as well. I just have to think of what I want her to look like first? XD

      Freya: I'm not sure yet... gray may replace pink, since no one seems to want pink. X3 At the moment I'm not taking custom colors tho.

      tenshi_no_korin: those would be spectra dolls, right? :D I love them~~~ <3

      So this is the color of the blue. :3 Color may vary slightly depending on the batch. I've decided to no longer offer pink since so few people wanted it. I may make it available for a limited time someday, but at the moment it's just easier to limit it to blue or white.

      thank you so much for the kind words and all the interest! :D I apologize that I've been a bit AWOL. I still check my pm's but I was preparing for the artist con and trying to catch up on sewing as well!


      Answers to questions:

      Kiyakotari: Not too easily? I mean, the parts will rub together and most likely they'll scratch off the finish in there, but the gun metal should stand up to average play.

      thesacrificialmaiden: The gun metal is just on the surface unfortunately. n.n;;

      Yunabug: I should still be taking orders then, but I suggest getting on the list now. The wait is about to next spring. :3 I can only cast five a month, so it's a bit slow...

      Riven: Ahaha! Pretty darn close! My main inspirations were Tron and Arcee from Transformers!

      Sharonpixie: Thanks! She's made from a metal powder that's dusted onto the mold before casting. :3

      thesacrificialmaiden: Apologies~~ I was in Ohio for the artist's con this weekend and before that I had a lot of work I was doing on other casts and sewing stuff. :3
